06/01/2026: Fantastic place, incredible meat, super honest prices, I go back every time I come to Sanremo

29/11/2025: A very good discovery, a nice, rather classy setting, clean, an almost perfect restaurant, a few minor drawbacks: you sink a little too deeply into the chairs which is not very comfortable, the vegetables that accompany the octopus are slightly undercooked, and the portions are a little small... but otherwise a pleasant experience!

06/02/2026: I went with friends to spend an evening together. All good also for the availability of the staff. I continue to frequent this place because the restaurant and pub products are of excellent quality. Prices are average. The managers are very kind and helpful people. In winter you can spend evenings where you can find groups of people singing live. Furthermore, it is possible to follow sport, especially football, both at championship and cup level.

15/01/2026: Very welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff, very good prices compared to the area right in the center. Fabulous pizza, excellent beer, definitely coming back when we return to Sanremo.

08/12/2025: We go to Cocoon for breakfast at 9:20... They bring us a menu with a ton of interesting things, we choose, but when we order they tell us that breakfast is available from 10:00 onwards... But what if it's breakfast???????????? So we settle for what's available, even though we later (unfortunately) found plenty of other places in the area where they were already serving the entire menu at that time.

24/01/2026: The quintessence of disappointment. It felt like we were bothering the waiters and waitresses. No goodbye at all, very long waiting times for the service, yet extremely quick when it came to bringing the card machine to pay. My girlfriend ordered the “risotto with red shrimp tartare”… there was indeed a risotto (although you could absolutely not taste any broth, only plain rice) and a few small pieces of shrimp scattered on top. PLEASE DO NOT USE THE WORD “TARTARE” WHEN YOU ARE NOT ACTUALLY MAKING ONE. My dish seemed to have been prepared with an overly salty, industrial pesto. In short: disappointing. And honestly, unless you have the palate of a Doberman, this is a tourist trap to be avoided. A disgrace to Italy.

03/01/2026: We had a wonderful dinner at Quintessenza in San Remo, seated outside in their wind‑protected and heated area. The plastic enclosure kept us perfectly comfortable, and the table itself was excellent — cozy, calm, and ideal for enjoying the evening. We started with the paccheri al sugo di crostacei, a chef’s suggestion that turned out to be absolutely delicious, along with a beautifully prepared insalata di carciofi served raw and full of flavor. For the main courses, I chose the classic Orecchia d’Elefante and a rombo con carciofi al forno, both impeccably cooked and generously portioned. Dessert was equally impressive: a creamy cheesecake with caramello salato and a delightful meringata con marron glacé. Every dish was well prepared, balanced, and satisfying. The service added an extra touch of charm. Before the starters, the waiter brought us some bread and warm pizza slices, and we were offered a limoncello to finish the meal. The highlight, though, was the thoughtful gesture toward our dog Toffee, who received a few slices of ham as a treat — a small detail that made the experience feel truly personal. From start to finish, everything was smooth, attentive, and delicious. Quintessenza delivered a flawless experience that fully deserves 5 stars.

11/01/2026: I went to the Pico Centrale restaurant in Sanremo thanks to my sister and a friend, who had already been there and enthusiastically recommended it to us. They said they had a wonderful time and would gladly return, even though it had been a short time since their last visit. And they were absolutely right. We ate wonderfully from start to finish. The cuisine is made with the highest quality ingredients, which you can taste right away. Over the course of the evening, we tried a bit of everything: meat, fish, pasta, and desserts, and every dish was truly delicious, carefully prepared, and made to perfection. There wasn't a single dish we weren't satisfied with; in fact, each one was better than the last. Our entire table was extremely satisfied, which isn't often the case when there are so many of us. You can tell there's passion, attention, and a desire to make the customer feel good. The service was also impeccable: the waiters were kind, helpful, and always smiling. The owner is a very friendly and approachable person, which makes the atmosphere even more pleasant and relaxed. You feel welcomed, not just served. It was a truly wonderful evening, one that makes you want to come back right away. I absolutely recommend everyone to eat at Pico Centrale, because it's one of those places where you know you'll eat well, feel good, and leave happy.

06/01/2026: I'm only giving one star to the service, especially the welcome, given that the restaurant was "almost empty" at 7:30 PM and they said they were fully booked. Okay, maybe they were fully booked, but was it an effort to find a table for two for a quick dinner? I can assure you, they've done it in other places.

01/02/2026: A simple but generous table (the house offers you spumante, an amuse-bouche and a petit four), excellent grilled tuna and desserts, but a slight disappointment with the pasta alla vongole. Easy parking.

No low cost fast food but meals to enjoy and share the experience with friends or family.

30/08/2025: The food was delicious, with generous portions (we shared the tagliatelle and gnocchi between us). The only downside is the outdoor tables: if you eat outside, it's very windy in the evening, and the food gets cold very quickly.
