07/08/2026: I've been going to La Vedetta since I was 10, I'm 67... The place is always pleasant, nothing changes at La Vedetta, the same menu since they opened, but that's the beauty of it. Tonight I went for dinner to eat pesto lasagna, in my opinion the best on the Riviera. It's a shame they weren't the same, a very strange and dark pesto, different from usual. The fresh pasta was very thick. But the strangest thing is that now, after 4 hours, I don't feel well, I have a stomach ache and I don't add anything else. How did they make that pesto? Who knows!!!

14/08/2026: I went with my family, five of us, and we had everything from pizza, pasta carbonara, spaghetti with clams, and grilled shrimp. Everyone was very satisfied, and we finished with dessert, which was also very enjoyable. The Neapolitan owners were very welcoming, and the service was fast and very friendly. It was a great experience.

The location is spectacular: an elegant terrace with a breathtaking view of the Tigullio Gulf that alone is worth the visit. The atmosphere is refined yet welcoming, perfect for a special evening. The cuisine is top-notch: every dish is meticulously crafted, with excellent ingredients, sophisticated pairings, and impeccable presentation. Passion, technique, and a keen attention to quality are evident. The wine list is also extensive and well-selected. Special praise goes to the staff: professional, knowledgeable, and always smiling. The service is attentive without being intrusive and helps make the experience truly memorable. One of the best restaurants on the Ligurian Riviera for those seeking an elegant dinner, a unique view, and captivating cuisine. Highly recommended, it deserves 5 stars.

14/08/2026: We went for a romantic evening. Aperitif at the bar, a restaurant just steps away, and a beautiful sunset. Tables in an elegant setting. A warm welcome with good olive oil and impeccable service. The appetizers, tartare and tempura, were very good. Unfortunately, the problem was the first course: overcooked risotto and paccheri pasta, separated from the sauce and clearly precooked. There is a selection of freshly made pastries available, but they're a bit pricey. Ours isn't a negative review, but rather an incentive, because the place is truly worth it.

14/08/2026: I have traveled the world and never left a review. Besides today. You must go if in Rapallo. One of the best, if not the best, restaurants. Food was amazing, service was even better. We asked our server to pace the meal - and he came over to ask exactly when we wanted each course. My boyfriend and I also shared each dish, and they voluntarily plated everything in half - from the apps, to the pastas, to the fish, to the dessert. Ambiance also amazing. Recommend.

20/07/2026: Very disappointed, I don't understand the good reviews. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was very cold. The table was only set for one person; nothing was set for a second, and we weren't even given cutlery. We ordered a charcuterie and cheese board with a cocktail, which should have cost us €18 in total according to the menu. However, we were charged €26, without any explanation. As for the board itself: a few thin slices of sausage that didn't seem fresh, three or four pieces of cheese, and stale bread that crumbled like shortbread. Enough to feed a bird, not two people. €18 for a quantity that would barely be enough for a child is incomprehensible. We chose this place because of its good reviews, but I can't explain it. We won't be back.

18/07/2026: Got cold lasagna (heated in the microwave) and a slightly undercooked hamburger.

16/08/2026: Unfortunately, it's an experience I won't repeat. We sat down at 7:45 PM and there were only two other tables ahead of us. At 9:00 PM, the 6-year-old's pasta with tomato sauce still hadn't arrived, even though our table and the entire restaurant were already full and he was eating. After another 15 minutes of waiting, I went to ask the owner, who told me, in succession: 1) It's the week of August 15th (as if that were an excuse, especially since it was Saturday, August 8th, so the week before). 2) You all ordered different things at the table, so there's bound to be a wait (so in a restaurant, to eat, the whole table has to order the same dish, I assume). 3) The child asked for penne with tomato sauce. If it had been trofie, he'd already be eating (an hour and a half of cooking time for pasta, and for a child at that). Obviously, no excuses. The embarrassed waitress no longer knew how to apologize, while the owner (who could be heard shouting insults at the poor cooks on her way to the bathroom) provided the aforementioned gems. In addition, we ordered two spaghetti allo scoglio, one of which was seafood, while the other contained two mussels, one empty, a shrimp, and a scampi. It's truly a shame that places like this are run by people who don't know how to work.

09/08/2026: We organized an aperitif here for a friend's surprise birthday party, and the location was very much appreciated. We ate so many delicious and tasty meals, the staff was helpful, and the evening was perfect. I'll be back soon.
