The kitchen is discreet.
The only discordant note, which is why I only gave two stars, is the lack of correctness on the wine list which presents wines of different vintages from those actually present in the restaurant
Above all, not specifying it and carrying the already open bottle in the bucket denotes a certain lack of correctness towards the customer

17/08/2024: Very nice environment and welcoming staff, shame about the food which left us a little disappointed: first courses overcooked and not very salty, watery sauce; we also expected to find fewer bones in the fish. Poor value for money.
12/08/2024: I'm sorry to give negative reviews, but almost entirely frozen fish (as written on the list due to legal obligation), terrible heat (dinner), and quality-price completely out of place (I understand that rents in Rapallo can be very high but really exaggerated replied to the quality of the food)
The only positive note was the very friendly and precise service.

11/07/2024: Excellent restaurant, beautiful veranda, comfortable tables and chairs, shaded parking for customers. Welcoming and professional staff, the service is with great customer care. Very interesting menu and wine list.
Those who want during the summer also have the possibility of booking sunbeds and umbrellas to continue the day on the beach.
Excellent relationship between quality and price.
Absolutely recommended.

16/08/2024: An impromptu lunch on 08/07/24 with my partner. Good food, really small quantities considering the price. Suggestive location in an alleyway in Rapallo.
I understand the fact of being in an extremely touristy country, but €56 for two first courses (small quantity) and 1 L of natural water I would say is really too much...
If you want to try the experience of a Ligurian lunch in a "carruggio", that's fine, but next time I'll opt for a piece of take-away focaccia (minimum expense, maximum yield).

L’impatto è favoloso: professionalità, educazione e rapidità.
Menu ricco di alternative, c’è sia mare che terra. Chicca notevole i menu già creati ad hoc per chi fosse indeciso.
Scegliamo per cenare alla carte e non restiamo delusi.
Tartare eccellenti e risotto favoloso… e tempi di attesa perfettamente rispettati con quelli segnati sul menu per ogni singola pietanza, che per essere un venerdì di agosto è un plus non di poco conto!

08/08/2024: Obviously pizza and cheese focaccia are the best.... Also tried mixed fried food and it wasn't bad.... But honestly the pizzeria section is at superior levels.... Too bad the heat and the many mosquitoes... They should put something to reduce the nuisance of mosquitoes.... Like special lamps or at most provide them on the tables in the car..... But otherwise impeccable..... Maybe a little expensive for being out of the way center.... However always highly recommended....
31/07/2024: Nightmare restaurant. Only Cannavacciuolo was missing. 10 minutes waiting on my feet before the 'waitresses' deigned to ask what I wanted. They make you sit on a dirty table saying 'I'll come straight away to clean it', they spend 20 minutes (seating and taking order of two tables). I'm leaving. Absurd…

drive. We just chose here because they had a parking spot, and there are people at the restaurant. So glad we did because the spaghetti gamberi de Santa we had turned out to be one of the best pasta I had in my life. Thank me later.
08/07/2024: We stumbled upon it by chance, the environment as we would define it in Piedmont is that of a "Piola", basic service, terrible food, bordering on food poisoning.
Inedible mussels and prawns!
What was supposed to be a cut, was an anonymous Paillard shredded raw, brutally thrown onto a plate, served with cubic meters of aged parmesan.
€35 for two dishes and 750 ml of carbonated soda thrown down the toilet.

09/07/2024: Questa sera, tornando dalla spiaggia, ci siamo fermati da El Paso per prendere, ancora una volta, una delle loro pizze da asporto, da magiare poi a casa, dato che abitiamo a pochi passi di distanza.
Come sempre ci siamo orientati sulla pizza marinara; molto grande, ben cotta, ben condita, prezzo ottimo.
Che aggiungere d'altro! Tornando qui non si sbaglia mai!
