10/08/2025: I'm speechless! Sky-high prices for a place that's nothing special. The bar then sells its goods at double the price (100%-200% profit margin).
I don't think anything could be worse.
Absolutely avoid this place, otherwise you'll find yourself paying a hefty bill.
More than hefty, it's a rip-off.
09/07/2025: Restaurant near the Subiaco monastery. Very friendly staff and owners. We only had a starter, a drink, and a coffee. The portions weren't very generous; they were good, but not exceptional. As for the price, I was hoping for a bit less.

30/07/2025: We stayed in early July, escaping the city heat.
Positive experience: family-run restaurant with a few rooms attached.
The room was basic but tidy, clean, and comfortable, as was the bathroom.
The cuisine is traditional Lazio, so the dishes are authentic, flavorful, and well-prepared. The manager, Gigi, and his wife immediately proved to be hospitable and friendly.
A pleasant vacation that we will repeat whenever possible.
18/05/2025: I stayed and had dinner at La Genziana this weekend.
The welcome and kindness of the owner and staff were truly exemplary.
The dinner was excellent and the menu was rich. Fair prices considering where we are and the costs of transportation etc. etc.
The room was simple, clean and tidy.
It will be my point of reference for the next times.

15/08/2025: Excellent food, very welcoming and helpful staff. The atmosphere is very nice and organized, and there's the option of horseback riding. We recommend coming for a fun, carefree day, and if you want to spend time with your family and friends.
21/07/2025: The restaurant is really nice, a typical mountain restaurant with rustic cuisine and the option of horseback riding, which you can even see up close. The dining room overlooks a valley and has a relaxing atmosphere.
The service is mostly young, and it's a real pleasure, but I would recommend a little more speed in service and attentiveness to requests.
Regarding the food, I can say it's all good, but nothing exceptional. We had slightly higher expectations, but the appetizer seemed a bit meager; several first and second courses were unavailable, and the potatoes were practically saltless.
Seven of us ordered four appetizers, five first courses, six second courses, four side dishes, water, wine, coffee, and three liqueurs for a total of €270. We weren't particularly satisfied.

10/03/2025: Overall it's not bad, let's say the food is good. But for example, the strozzapreti had two different temperatures: the pasta was boiling hot and the sauce was cold (probably already prepared some time ago) and partially raw. The baked potatoes had perhaps been heated in the microwave to present them piping hot, but they dried out and hardened as they cooled.
But the worst thing is the service: we entered shortly after midday, we left after 3pm! The place was perhaps only half full, the order was taken after half an hour of being at the table, the cutting board was brought to us 40 minutes after the order and only after a reminder! Furthermore, it was also not very elegantly retorted.
They have a management problem visible to the customer: they make 3/4 tables start eating at a time, and they only take care of those until they have finished. Then they move on to the other tables which in the meantime have only received water, wine and perhaps (but not always) the boss.
Savory prices: 1 starter, 2 first courses, 1 liter of water, half a liter of white wine on tap, €52.
Yet another unedifying scene, the manager or co-manager sitting at the table eating with a group of friends who, from time to time, got up to go serve the tables, or to clear the table, or to pay the bill at the cashier, all with the same hands without ever going to the bathroom to wash them.
An underage girl who went around the tables clearing and tidying up the tables, and on a couple of occasions also at the cashier to pay the bill.
Family business is fine, it's fine not knowing where to leave it, it's fine to teach it a trade, but you just can't see it at the checkout.

Ristorante pizzeria da Anna

01/05/2025: Conosciamo "Da Anna" ormai da anni... Una garanzia assoluta, cibi freschi e genuini, cucina semplice ma eccellente, cura nei dettagli, accoglienza e cortesia tutto quello che serve per passare una giornata fuori porta. I ravioli al pomodoro sono una delizia anche per i palati più sofisticati, la carne, di una qualità inimitabile... Prezzi onesti vista la quantità. Consigliatissimo 😉
14/03/2025: Siamo stati benissimo. Pizza e servizio superlativi. Tornerò sicuramente.

Pinsa Romana La Fraschetta

03/08/2023: Siamo capitati per caso, focaccia con la porchetta veramente da leccarsi i baffi. Porzioni giganti (anche delle patatine) e i ragazzi gentilissimi. Abbiamo avuto un problema con il cellulare e ci hanno addirittura fatto collegare al loro wifi privato per aiutarci. Se capitate a Subiaco vi consigliamo di fare tappa qui!
