05/01/2026: A friend took me to this restaurant for lunch. I was a bit skeptical at first, but as I tasted the dishes, I became more and more convinced that I was in a good restaurant.
The appetizer was good, very simple but with well-defined flavors. The seafood scialatiello was excellent, making it a real mop-up, and the mixed grill was also good as a main course. The meal concluded with an excellent sorbet.
I would, however, point out one negative aspect that I didn't like: the table next to us was served the same appetizer, but in significantly larger quantities and with an extra dish that we were denied. The service was also quite slow, although this may be due to the staff's vacation period.
Overall, I recommend this restaurant for the quality of its cuisine, but I would suggest greater attention be paid to ensuring equal treatment for all customers.

30/12/2025: Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The spaghetti with clams was truly inedible: lacking in flavor and cooked incorrectly. Considering the quality of the dish, the price is definitely too high. I expected much more attention and care from a restaurant called Pasta e Passione. I don't plan on returning.
22/12/2025: Delicious fish, carefully prepared dishes, and truly impeccable service! Excellent value, too. The octopus with chicory and the gnocchi with cuttlefish ragù were exquisite! We'll definitely be back!

22/09/2025: We visited the restaurant on Sunday, September 21st, for my nephew's confirmation. What can I say? A truly unique experience.
We were welcomed by the owner, Federica, and the chef, with a welcome aperitif of Sicilian shrimp and hot fried anchovies, all accompanied by an exceptionally high-quality sparkling wine.
We continued our meal with some incredibly delicious fish appetizers: octopus and potatoes, mussel and clam soup, seafood salad, and a warm pizza bianca.
For the first courses, burrata ravioli with grouper and a seafood risotto, both very good. To finish, we had fried fish and fish fillet with potatoes, cooked to perfection and melting in the mouth.
Lunch was served with wines from their cellar, delicious and fresh. I recommend it for an evening, an event, or an aperitif.
26/05/2025: We had a wonderful tasting of an assortment of whites and reds, which also included a nice tour of the facility and great conversation about the winery. An added bonus were the very loving dogs! We were very happy to leave with a trunk full of great wine to enjoy. We'll be back soon to have lunch prepared by their chef. Judging by the quality of the wine I'm sure it'll be amazing.

02/12/2025: I've eaten there several times and have also ordered takeout on many occasions and everything was excellent, the pizza perhaps the best I've ever eaten. The menu offers a wide selection of white and red pizzas, focaccias and an innumerable quantity of fried foods.

For those who love Roman pizza... thin and crunchy, this is the right place!! The excellent quality ingredients and the very light dough make this pizza unique... you could eat more than one!
Do we need to talk about the fried foods?! They're special!
I recommend the pumpkin supplì with bacon and pecorino cheese... sublime!
If you also have a sweet tooth, I recommend the Crostantina with redcurrant and blueberry cream... a light and crumbly pastry that accompanies a very delicate cream!
Highly recommended!

09/11/2025: Sunday, 10:30 a.m., I was given a frozen ham parcel... after I mentioned it, the response was, "They just came out" (I think they were yesterday's stuff from the fridge). Very unprofessional. I'll go elsewhere; there are better options in Ladispoli.

02/01/2026: Spending New Year's Eve lunch with you was a pleasant discovery worth sharing. Excellent food, expertly prepared; wines, including local ones, to be enjoyed with grilled meats in a beautiful fireplace that also warms the room; impeccable service. A wonderful experience that we will repeat as soon as possible with friends.
01/01/2026: We discovered this restaurant on New Year's Eve and had a wonderful time.
The menu (€55 per person) was delicious, each course so generous that I couldn't finish the second course, a wonderful roast beef.
The appetizer included melt-in-the-mouth cold cuts and cheeses accompanied by jams and honey, an unforgettable polenta with sausage, and other dishes, each one better than the last. The first course was equally delicious.
Excellent value: at the end of the evening, it also included a second sparkling wine (after the welcome one), no extra charge for the additional glass bottles of water, and the accessories and gadgets for midnight (trumpets, streamers, etc.)—that seems like too little!
We can't wait to return, and I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the owner and the dining room staff: you were so kind, attentive, and friendly. You made us feel at home!

29/06/2025: In Ladispoli there are fast food restaurants, in Ladispoli you will find a lot of junk food, in Ladispoli you will find many places to eat, most of which do not deserve a second visit. Then there is Red and Black. Which with well thought out combinations, with passion, with precision and with raw materials of absolute quality makes pinsa, hamburgers, sandwiches and anything else that will leave you speechless. A menu that satisfies any need and a professionalism that is almost impossible to find in these parts. Go there, do yourself this favor or order from their website if you live in those parts. The place stays open until late at night, another choice that will pay off in the medium term. The prices are perfectly consistent with the quality of the raw materials and we know that quality has to be paid for. But compared to the mediocrity that is found around, Red and Black is a rare bird in a suffocating gastronomic panorama like that of Ladispoli. Well done, really well done! Don't give up!
