24/12/2024: Cozy place furnished in "typical" style, comfortable, there is not much separation between the tables, but still enough to dine in peace. Starting from the positive notes: the dishes are very abundant, the prices are low enough, the wine list is sufficient, the staff is friendly. There are no real negative notes, but perhaps I had set out with higher expectations regarding the preparation and presentation of the dishes: good, but nothing that really left a "mark", especially for a restaurant that aspires to higher awards. A note of praise must be made to the dining room staff (or rather to the person): perhaps on the day I visited there was some "attendance" problem, because a single person had to take care of all the tables (both both for orders and for service), in the two hours that I sat at the table (the place filled up), I never saw her stop for a moment and her dedication and kindness beyond the kitchen should be rewarded.

06/01/2025: The service was phenomenal and the food came out quickly. It was good and prepared to how we ordered. Its quality pasta but not house made. They don't advertise house made so no issues.

30/12/2024: Slightly small portions, a bit of carelessness in the service and salty spaghetti with clams. However, apart from the spaghetti everything was very good (seafood and fried tortelli). Price not excessive.

08/12/2024: Warm, welcoming environment... it feels like being in the tavern at home. Very kind, prepared and fast staff. Excellent wine. The four stars for the food are only due to a defect found in one of the dishes. While the appetizers and the first course were extremely delicious, the second course of meat (we opted for the deer) did not totally justify the price or even the expectations. We were probably unlucky because in the small slice of meat (no fillet) that we were served there was a lot of waste. In any case, a really nice find. We'll be back... Maybe trying more "local" courses.

03/12/2024: Good, hospitality, competence, imagination, tradition and above all excellent knowledge of the ingredients and their combinations with the result of consuming delicious, appetizing and very tasty dishes. These two ladies are very good and it is not the first time that they have delighted us with their culinary preparations. The quality/price ratio is also good. I attach some photos.

15/12/2024: Very nice and typical tavern, where you can eat fish-based dishes, the first courses with homemade pasta are delicious, the fried fish with the catch of the day is super, the prices are very honest. Super recommended

15/11/2024: We were last night with friends in this small place where we ate with an exceptional fish menu. The highlight was the fried fish: fresh, crunchy with the scent of the sea. A small flaw is the lack of a jelly which suits us well at the end of the meal. However it deserves a 10 with honors

24/12/2024: Beautiful experience on the occasion of my 70th birthday, the starter was excellent, the first course was plentiful, offering classics of Italian cuisine with modern and tasty gourmet variations, the meat and fish were excellent, and finally the cake was spectacular. Pleasant experience and definitely worth repeating.

12/11/2024: Avevo un ottimo ricordo della pizza di questo locale((piazzale vigili del fuoco) ma mi devo ricredere ...locale pieno di mosche pizza dall' olio di sansa puzza di fumo in ogni dove il prezzo al di sopra della media ma soprattutto lo scontrino ...fatturato 7 € per un costo di 24 .. purtroppo ero già a casa quando mi sono accorta...Speriamo che sia solo la giornata!

26/10/2024: Pessima accoglienza ed esperienza e pensare che è tra i più rinomati della città.Mi riferisco alla casa del boia.Non si è capito chi doveva prendere ordinazioni.la ragazza che informava che era lì ha detto al cameriere,il cameriere al padrone.Mi rivolge di nuovo la parola il cameriere ,inizio a dire vorrei....nomino solo un gusto non riesco a dire altro che non mi si fila più ed esce fuori,rientra e parla con il proprietario,Basita.Me ne sono andata alla Pierona in meno di 10 minuti ordinato e portata via.ma che maniera.

04/01/2025: Endless waiting. Timings not respected. They say half an hour and then you wait over an hour in the cold outside. Disorganization and carelessness. Not recommended! There is better, even inside there is chaos and certainly the number of tables and people is oversized.

04/01/2025: We went last night with the fork discount (30%) and we tasted a very good mixed starter, two really excellent first courses (tortelli and orecchiette) and finally two tagliatelle (very tender meat) accompanied by Ribolla Gialla. Polite, friendly and efficient staff.

09/12/2024: Primero que el menú ofrece muy poco para un vegetariano, me paré allí porque estaba buscando otro sitio que al final estaba cerrado . Me pedí una pasta cacio/pepe y parecía que estaba precocidad un sabor muy raro y luego me clavaron una cerveza de 7€ como si estuviera en pleno centro de Roma y luego pagué un servicio de 2,50€ ! Vamos salí pagando 25€ por no haber comido nada bueno y tampoco bebido mucho !! Y luego cuando estaba acabando la cerveza la dueña rubio platino me invitó a irme porque como no había gente iban a cerrar ! Vamos Nunca jamás !!

05/11/2024: This pizzeria is particular: it belongs to a category known in Civitavecchia as "ghetto style" (name derived from the first pizzeria of its kind, which is located in the Civitavecchia ghetto and bears its name) due to the way of making and serving pizza : little selection (in fact there isn't even a menu), by weight, and served on paper without plates or cutlery, therefore strictly with your hands. For the occasion you will be provided with numerous napkins. If this isn't a problem for you, you will find yourself in a nice, welcoming and quite classic place, but it would be ideal to book in advance and specify whether inside or outside, otherwise you risk that the only table available is one so narrow that you won't be able to sit at one. in front of each other. As for the pizza, as mentioned you will have little choice available, and you order by weight. However, that little selection is put to good use. As they say, quality over quantity. Although due to personal preference I prefer other types of pizza, Paolillo is still something not to be ignored, especially the slightly acidic taste of the mozzarella he uses for the margherita, very pleasant and appetizing. Tomato is used in large quantities in red pizza, and the dough is a little thick. The only criticism I feel like making is the almost always burnt and narrow edges. So, if you like them, unfortunately it is very likely that you will have to discard them. A fundamental warning: freshly made pizza, especially if with tomato or Nutella, is HOT and you risk causing second degree burns on the palate. No, I'm not exaggerating. So be patient and wait for it to cool down a bit or, if you are really impatient, blow and/or use a mini-fan if you have one. Basically this pizzeria is a bit of an acquired taste. Not my favorite even though I'm quite happy to go back, but it could be yours. The only way to find out is to try at least once.
