03/10/2025: For my wife and I, lunch at Acqua Salata on Tuesday, September 30th was a pleasant surprise. Both the scialatielli with clams and the tagliatelle with octopus ragù were special. The fried shrimp and calamari were crispy and truly fresh. And then the seadas were truly remarkable. Fairly priced 👍👍👍 Congratulations to Angelo for everything, and I promised him we'll see each other again.

07/09/2025: The family-run restaurant is set in a very pleasant (outdoor) setting. The waitress is equally pleasant and affable (except that she later brought us a different wine than the one we ordered). The menu is rather sparse (but if it were quality, it wouldn't be a problem). Analyzing the courses (in my opinion and that of my fellow diners), the appetizers were small, with appreciable flavors. The first course was scialatielli with clams and bottarga—unpresentable! The homemade pasta still had the flour clinging to it, creating a sort of tasteless mush that detracted from both the clams and the bottarga. The fried food was mediocre and low-quality (and arrived significantly late). Luckily, I ordered the oysters to satisfy my taste buds; they were delicious. I'm not even talking about the zuppa inglese, which was neither zuppa nor zuppa. I also found the price inadequate for the amount we consumed. Essentially, these notes are simply meant to encourage the family who runs the business to try to improve the quality of their work. P.S.: I went there because I found excellent reviews. Honestly, they're incomprehensible based on my experience.

07/10/2025: Michelin star place indeed! This place is very cosy and clean! Please make sure you check the Menü before booking. This place has some iconic plates for fish and seafood lovers. Less for meat lovers. The chef was very nice to make some pasta Bolognese for our children, since "we" did not check out the Menü before booking for 14 people.

06/08/2025: This isn't my first time eating here. Last night, we were with friends and ordered everything from the menu, including the vegan options. The food was excellent, impeccably cooked. We were all satisfied, having a pleasant evening and eating excellently. The quality/price ratio was more than fair. Well done, guys.

22/09/2025: Expansive menu with delicious options. Staff were friendly though apparently only 1 of them spoke English fluently. (Anytime we had a question, the staff went to get her.) The food was excellent! I would highly recommend coming here if you're in the area.

19/09/2025: Suitable for any palate. A beautiful location with meticulous attention to detail. The staff are so cheerful they put you in a good mood, especially Valentina, who was with us the entire evening. She was truly professional and kind. The food was fantastic...my sandwich was truly superbly topped with excellent meat, while my partner, who often has pizza issues, found the quality of the cheesy pizza here to be beyond his expectations, delicious. We can't wait to come back and try everything!

01/10/2025: I ordered the seafood set menu for €31. The male staff member was quiet but very friendly. Water was €1. House wine was €2. The squid frittata (deep-fried food) I had for my main course was delicious. It was a shame they didn't have the tart mentioned in the reviews. I highly recommend it.

30/09/2025: Here, you don't go to a restaurant and check whether the knife is facing outward. Here, you go to Andrea; he's the restaurant; he comes to your table, lovingly and kindly explains the dishes, and then shuts himself away in the kitchen and freshly prepares traditional delicacies with quality ingredients and a lot of passion. The result? Delicious dishes in a casual setting where tradition and a love for cooking reign supreme. Highly recommended!

09/05/2025: One of the most pleasant places when I return to my city. A sitting room that seems to get lost in the gaze, tastefully furnished, a three-dimensional collage of bygone eras. The owner often organizes activities, exhibitions or musical jam sessions. Inside the venue there are musical instruments and board games, perfect for enjoying a good drink during an aperitif, perhaps in the company of a game or someone playing happily. A place with many souls and a lot of personality.

14/09/2025: An incredible experience, truly a voracious pizza, but be careful not to overdo it. For example, a kilo and a half of pizza for two people is a lot. If the staff's car doesn't start, be kind and help. The flavor and dough are full, flavorful, and never tire. The marinara is amazing.

14/09/2025: warning: this place will spoil you. it is exactly what we were looking for: neighborhood pizza joint, lots of regulars, hardly anyone speaks english. it was perfect. don’t let the limited menu concern you. it just means these delicious, wood-fired pizzas are perfect every time. if it’s the first pizza you eat in italy, get ready to be disappointed with all the other pizzas you try after this one. i don’t know if we’ll ever make it back here, but i will dream about this pizza often.

03/10/2025: Traditional Civitavecchia dishes, cooked and presented just like at home. The atmosphere is casual and simple, but once the food arrives, you feel happy and satisfied. A true delight.

18/07/2025: Trattoria dal carattere tipicamente familiare, cucina squisita, cortesia e simpatia: siamo stati davvero bene. Le alici marinate erano deliziose, così come gli involtini di zucchine e gamberi in pastella. Ottima anche la frittura. Non abbiamo preso primi piatti. Moderato Il conto. Consigliatissimo.

10/07/2025: Buon ristorante di pesce con buona qualità dei prodotti e gentilezza dello staff. Grande selezione di antipasti con un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, mentre i primi ed i secondi vanno parecchio su di prezzo, anche se di buona fattura. L'ideale, che poi è quello che fanno tutti, è prendersi 4/5 antipasti (sono porzioni abbondanti ) da condividere e magari dividersi un primo o un secondo. Cmq vale la pena.
