10/11/2025: Yesterday was a beautiful day and I went to the restaurant with a friend of mine and my one and a half year old son. I should start by saying that I had called the day before to request a table, possibly on the veranda, because it was very beautiful but above all because it was more comfortable for me to get up often with my son. We arrived and they told me that there was no room on the veranda but that they had given me (in their words) the most contested table in the restaurant. Well, we found ourselves in front of a lit fireplace. It was really hot yesterday so the thing initially made me smile but then I had to make them understand that we couldn't eat there as we were already dying of heat. At which point the manager arrived, discouraging my desire to go on the veranda because they had closed everything and in any case the path to get out of the restaurant would be long, but I explained to her that it was really not possible to stay in front of the fireplace! In the end they satisfied me and put me on the veranda, and while we were getting ready, she put the high chair under the sun "because otherwise the waiters wouldn't come by" who instead subsequently came They were very kind in placing my high chair in the shade by moving the table slightly. Anyway, we order a piglet with baked potatoes as a starter, two fettuccine with porcini mushrooms and one with tomato sauce for my son. The piglet arrives after exactly five minutes, obviously it was obvious that it was already cooked because it required a long preparation, but it was cold, not even heated properly. Then the first courses arrive. When it comes to the bill, (which they got wrong twice by putting dishes from the next table, but ok, it can happen) I notice that we paid 18 each for the fettuccine with fresh porcini mushrooms, a fair price, and that the dish for my little son cost a good 16 euros. A half plate of fettuccine, not even presented as well as our dishes. So ultimately, yesterday they did not know how to turn the day in their favor by taking advantage of the heat but acting as if it were late winter, plus, evidently “Piccati” made me pay an exorbitant price for a simple dish, especially for a child. So, reluctantly, I don't think I want to go back. Yesterday they made me want to leave as soon as possible.
