26/11/2025: A quaint restaurant in the historic center, with an attractive and well-maintained location. At lunchtime, the service was slow/distracted, despite only three tables occupied. The menu isn't very varied, but it's acceptable; freshly cooked dishes are preferable. The wine list is good, with reasonable prices. Overall, recommended, with a passing grade, but the hospitality could be improved.

The positive reviews piqued our curiosity, and they're right!
I ate really well, with typical Ciociaria dishes, yet unique and delicious.
A vast selection of wines.
The waiters were good and attentive.
Beautiful location.

12/09/2025: At the entrance, there's a big sign: "Four-legged animals are allowed ONLY INSIDE THE CARRIER, both inside and in the outdoor garden." I don't think I've ever heard anything more absurd than that. You'd look better saying you don't accept them, since Italian law still allows you to do so. Unclassifiable. We didn't even go in. And don't say it's for hygiene reasons, because that's a nonsense.

05/10/2025: The room was tiny and very run-down. The bathroom was dirty. The rubber bathmat was really disgusting, with old hair on it. The bed is way too small for two adults. The man at the reception desk only speaks Italian, and if he doesn't understand you, he just walks away.
Unfortunately, there are no accessible parking spaces either.
I didn't feel like I was in a hotel!

23/08/2025: In the summer, a cozy terrace with a pizzeria is open. Good food, a wide selection of grilled meats. The pizza and fried foods are also good. Quiet place.

09/11/2025: It wasn't a great experience. The place looked nice from the outside, but not so welcoming inside. The house appetizer was poor and the quality of the ingredients was quite poor. The cold cuts were salty and the hot dishes tasteless. I went there for lunch during a business trip, and I think if I were ever passing through again, I'd easily skip it. All in all, the bill was even more expensive than the cured meats.
26/10/2025: We had the opportunity to try this great restaurant and return because we had a great time in Ferentino. We ate excellent grilled meat, both fillet and steak.

15/06/2025: Sera del 14 giugno. Servono vino bianco ma la macchina del ghiaccio, con almeno 35 gradi esterni, è rotta quindi non possono fornire un secchiello; si offrono di rimettere il vino in frigo ed ogni volta per berne sarà necessario attendere che uno dei camerieri sia disponibile. L’alternativa sarebbe stata bere un vino bianco caldo.
Primo tonnarelli al sugo di granchio blu: si sentiva solo lo zucchero nel sugo per abbassare l’acidità del pomodoro.
Secondo insalata di seppie con contorno di carote lesse. Esatto hanno servito delle carote lesse in un ristorante, l’ultima volta le ho viste in un ospedale.
Il cameriere, che per buona parte della cena ha finto di guardare altrove per non essere chiamato dai tavoli, si ricorda di noi quando ci accendiamo una sigaretta avendo preso il posacenere dal tavolo vicino, per comunicarci che non si può fumare nonostante siamo all’aperto e nonostante ci fosse il posacenere sui tavoli.
Le terme bellissime, ma vi consiglio di mangiare altrove se cercate buon cibo e gentilezza.
13/04/2025: Provato in un viaggio di lavoro, dove ho alloggiato all'hotel Fontana Olente, nel quale questo ristorante si trova. Ho apprezzato la cortesia del personale che mi ha servito una zuppa di ceci e un branzino, entrambi buoni. Da riprovare, magari con più calma in un'altra occasione.

01/09/2023: Quando la villaneria supera la fantasia, se chiedo un filetto al sangue e mi viene servito cotto ho il pieno diritto di farlo notare.
Una reazione assurda, fortunatamente mai vista prima.
La ristorazione è una cosa seria e necessità di basi, l'educazione dovrebbe essere il biglietto da visita.
