10/12/2025: This was a fantastic discovery for us, being new to Ceccano. They're open for lunch from 12 to 3 pm and dinner from 7 pm. Esther, the owner and chef, prepares excellent comfort food for all courses. Every time we return to Ceccano, we eat at Esther's more and more often. Her staff is friendly and makes us feel at home, even though our Italian isn't very good yet. Her children also make us feel welcome and it's always a pleasure to meet them when we're there. There's excellent outdoor seating and inside, which displays photos of pre-war Ceccano. Great atmosphere, great food, wonderful people. You won't be disappointed!
31/10/2025: What a wonderful little restaurant! Signora Assunta and her cook (?) spontaneously treated us to the very best their kitchen had to offer. Their warmth and delicious Italian food made our 47th wedding anniversary a truly special occasion. Thank you so much! We'll definitely be back!

02/02/2026: I had dinner with some friends. We sat down at 8:00 PM (the room was half empty). We ordered five pizzas and a fried anchovy and cod dish. They told us it would take a while (the room was half empty). So, at 10:30 PM, they brought the pizzas (not even all at once), and after they brought all the pizzas, I waited another 20 minutes for the fried anchovy dish (which they brought only after reminding the waiter). The food was good, but the service was crappy (if you can't handle takeout pizzas and the room, choose one). The fried anchovy and cod dish was good, but for €16, I would have expected a slightly larger portion than the 10 anchovies and 2 cod bites.
I definitely won't be returning to this place for dinner again.
19/10/2025: The "sfizi di mare" appetizer is good, the fried calamari and shrimp are tasty, the "Albatros" pizza is decent, the grilled fish is very good, the berry cheesecake is excellent, and the "o Baba" is good. The quality/price ratio is good. The restaurant has been renovated and made modern, pleasant, and clean. The service is good. 4 out of 5 stars, in my opinion.

21/12/2025: Beautiful, historic venue run by people who are priceless in every way. Delicious, top-quality food (10+), excellent service, and a selection of high-quality local cuisine. Gianpiero and Marisa are wonderful hosts and people I'm very happy to have met.
15/11/2025: A delightful evening at Hostaria La Cantinella, a historic restaurant over a century old that upholds Ciociarian traditions. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and the fireplace added to its charm. Dinner was a true delight. We began with an appetizer of Ciociarian products, among which La Marzolina, a dried ricotta preserved in oil with herbs, stood out. The main courses were excellent: buffalo stew and lamb with tomato sauce! The French fries and fantastic Ciociarian bricholetti were delicious. And to finish... the house tiramisu and wine donuts accompanied by the typical Ciociarian liqueur La Rattafia, made with sour cherries! The owner and the lady serving were very kind, and they happily accompanied the evening 🌸🍀🌺 a place definitely worth a visit!

15/02/2026: Unfortunately, I can't give a zero! We ordered an appetizer and pizza: not much to say about the appetizer, but the pizza had expired mozzarella, and it tasted awful. Needless to say, we didn't eat it and left immediately. Of course, we paid the full bill! We absolutely do not recommend this place.
09/12/2025: We were there for a singing evening, we occupied the table ok it costs 10 euros per person, but the owner treated us very badly, like a sergeant checking on the boys friends of my son who was very nervous about singing, honestly I worked in a business, the smile is appreciated by all the customers, she blocked my in-laws at the door to make them pay, with absurd rudeness, I will never set foot in there again

04/05/2025: Di passaggio ci siamo fermati in questa trattoria a conduzione familiare a pochi passi dall'uscita Frosinone dell'A1. Che dire tutto veramente ottimo dalla cordialità del personale, nonostante il locale pieno al rapporto qualità prezzo. 2 primi, 3 secondi tutto veramente ottimo. Prezzi super modici. Consigliato.

24/02/2025: Pessimo ristorante con pessimi proprietari.arriviamo con i familiari e ci mettono in 11 persone a un tavolo dove stavamo strettissimi(e va be può capitare)ordiniamo solo 3 antipasti e resto primi e secondi.per i 3 antipasti mi è stato detto che abbiamo bloccato la cucina!per carità!mentre mangiavo quei benedetti antipasti vedo il cameriere che esce fuori con 3 piatti di fettucine ai funghi porcini di qui 2 li lascia a un tavolo e un altro lo riporta in cucina pochi secondi dopo riesce con quel piatto e me lo buttato sul tavolino,allora io ho detto grazie per i avanzi di altri!il proprietario dopo aver sentito questo mi ha chiamato dentro per urlarmi in faccia e di dirmi di non permettermi piu a dire ste cose e mi ha girato le spalle ed e sparito!avevamo una bambina di 4anni e gli abbiamo chiesto un semplice piatto di fettuccine per lei e arrivato dopo 2 ore e mezza.arrivano altri tavoli dopo di noi e vedo che con manco mezz'ora sono serviti con i primi a quel punto chiedo al cameriere perché non è stato portato prima a noi o almeno alla bambina.mi ha risposto molto scorbutico che ci vuole tempo perché ci stava troppo gente(certo dall'una che siamo arrivati lì hanno portati alle 15 passate).alle 16 arriva la bistecca ordinata alle 13 (questa persona aveva ordinato solo la bistecca no antipasti no primi)...mai più in questo ristorante lo sconsiglio a tutti!
23/02/2025: No comment......voto 0....il tavolo prenotato non risultava...ci hanno sistemato in 11 lungo 3 tavolinetti...stretti come le salsicce...un'ora per farci portare bicchieri e posate che mancavano...poi una volta si ricordavano il bicchiere una volta il tovagliolo...camerieri nel panico...un ora e mezza per solo 3 antipasti ....siamo arrivati all'una e solo alla 2 e 35 sono arrivati i 3 antipasti...e mano male!!!!È andata molto peggio a chi doveva mangiare primi e secondi..per il secondo ci sono volute le 4...!!!per non parlare del resto....sconsigliatissimo!!!!!!
