20/01/2026: We took this little trip to remember the times when I was a child. There's little to no trace of the past; war has decimated even my teeth. I realize that photos of my grandparents, of my deepest memories. After hours in this open-air museum, I noticed this little place. From a well-decorated shop window to a fully furnished room. We wandered inside, curious, to a legendary welcome. The varied menu, we were captivated by the dish I gave back.
02/11/2025: Horrible experience.
Precooked pasta with no sauce.
We had pacchero with cod, where the cod was nonexistent, and a cacio e pepe with a strong pepper.
These two dishes plus a sparkling water cost €30.
I don't recommend it.

17/01/2026: Hotel is not fancy, but it is clean, has hot showers and is very convenient to Cassino, all the WWII sites and Abbey of Montecassino. Breakfast was OK - good base for the day.

20/02/2026: A very high-quality bakery. You can purchase authentic Italian products here. Purchased delicacies can be taken away or eaten warm on site. The service is very friendly. A great place.

Excellent bakery and baked goods.
Really friendly and helpful staff.
Management has changed, and it's improved.
I hope they'll reopen the deli.
The only downside is that the space is a bit small.

05/03/2026: A place to eat and take a break between Rome and Vesuvius, where you can also buy some souvenirs (touristy area where prices reflect that).
15/02/2026: An excellent meeting point just off the A1-Cassino motorway toll booth. It offers a well-stocked bar and restaurant. A bit chaotic due to the crowds, at least at breakfast.
