07/06/2025: Strengthened by the positive experiences of the past years, last night we returned to dinner at this farmhouse. A girl took our orders, immediately joined by the waiter (owner?) who explained the menu to us. My wife pointed out that she was intolerant to any form of spicy food and asked about the dishes. The waiter (always him) confirmed that my wife's choice was that of gnocchi with pumpkin cream and shrimp, which were not spicy. I, who have no problems, chose tagliolini allo scoglio. As a second course, we saw that there was fish of the day served with potatoes, cherry tomatoes and spicy oil. Obviously, we asked to have the fish of the day without spicy food (among other things, we had never eaten spicy fish) simply grilled and/or baked with side dishes, salad and baked potatoes. Conclusion: the gnocchi were spicy and the fish of the day presented as per the menu with spicy oil on top and potatoes that were always spicy. The side dishes were as requested. To our observations the waiter justified himself by saying that maybe the spicy taste in the gnocchi was due to the shrimp (!) and in the fish of the day it was only on the skin and it was enough to remove it. Conclusion: the quality of the food was good, the attention to the customer was TERRIBLE. If a person declares intolerance and/or allergy I think it is the duty of the restaurateur to be sure of what he offers by telling the truth so as not to put the customer at risk, with certain pathologies you don't joke around. Anyway we paid the bill and left and we will definitely not return to this farmhouse

02/06/2025: Everything was delicious! We had octopus soup, fried calamari and shrimp and octopus on zucchini and mint puree, which we certainly recommend. Well equipped even in case of celiac disease. Kind and smiling, everything very positive therefore.

31/07/2025: We had an aperitif overlooking the sea: excellent Spritz, with many accompaniments, fast service and kind, smiling staff.

25/07/2025: Excellent restaurant on the Ostia seafront where the location is modern and very spacious in fact there is the possibility of eating both inside and outside. The waiters were quite kind and helpful. As for the dishes we found them very good where the quality is felt. There is the possibility of eating in addition to fish also pizza and also to have an aperitif if you want. Parking was not so easy to find. I recommend it!!

02/06/2025: Breakfast on Sunday morning we ask among other things for a glass of cold sparkling water, they bring it to us still. We repeat it back and I specify cold sparkling water they answer me that it is from the fridge, instead it was at room temperature. They do not know how to give a glass of water.

07/02/2025: A must-see for aperitivo in Fiumicino, the cocktails and accompanying appetizers are excellent, the owner is friendly and helpful, and the sea view is relaxing. What more could you ask for? 🌊

03/05/2025: The aperitif is very well looked after and the staff is nice and attentive. A place that makes you remember centocelle with pleasure.

15/04/2025: THE CLASS N'EST PAS DE L'EAU First time, breakfast. The impression is of entering a refuge of time, where the mind stops for a few minutes, absorbed by the scents, the attention to detail and the music in harmony with the whole; some call it "meditation" (but I don't want to exaggerate). Despite the wide range of food on offer in Centocelle, this place stands out for its AUTHENTICITY which is that rare and unequivocal characteristic of truth, in this case in the experience, quality and sensitivity of the welcome. Nothing special but everything very pleasant and authentic; in this place you can see and feel the soul of those who carefully walk it. How is the food? For now just two good coffees and a slice of excellent artisanal apple pie. I'll come back and tell you. Compliments :)

18/05/2025: New management....to be at the beginning there are all the components to become a top trattoria....the owner Silvia and her staff will know how to put everyone at ease

26/04/2025: This review refers to the new management. Place recommended by a friend who evidently didn't know about it. Unfortunately it was a bad experience, especially considering that it is under new management. I should have photographed my plate of gricia which left me speechless: very small and ridiculous portion. The lemon scallops were inedible for me and it hasn't happened for a long time that I haven't been able to eat something. Grilled vegetables without texture. And then the baked potatoes, which were evidently finished: few arrive and to compensate they had filled the void with french fries, without giving an explanation, without an excuse which would have at least been a sign of good will. Undrinkable coffee. Dry bread. But the worst thing of all was seeing a mother, I presume the owner and to whom the new restaurant "Rea Silvia" was dedicated, this is the new name of the restaurant, mistreated by her son who called her rudely between the tables and among the customers, perhaps thinking he was better than her. Of all things this was the worst and saddest. Understanding for the lady who is the only thing I save in part of this place because she was kind. Yet she also gets the bill wrong, and not just with us (other customers have objected), we only discovered the cost of the dishes at the end because there was no menu and, the icing on the cake, you could only pay in cash and this is truly unacceptable. 27 euros for not eating anything. 12 euros for a grill that was non-existent. I hope that these criticisms will help you improve since you are just starting out because you cannot treat customers like this and expect to be paid, and even a lot.

22/04/2025: Starting from the welcome, and ending with the food....what can I say....S-P-E-T-T-A-C-O-L-A-R-E! We were welcomed as if we were family... the chef and her father are truly friendly and very kind people! We recommend trying the chestnut tagliatelle and the appetizer with an exceptional chestnut matmellade! And absolutely try the beans with pork rinds! Mmaammmaa mmiiiaaaa!!!!! Well done Well done! 👏

01/04/2025: Everything was excellent, especially the dishes, with specialties that you can't find elsewhere, and at a good price!

15/06/2025: Attracted by the reviews we arrived at this place. Sterile place, cold and without a minimum of music or family atmosphere. It seemed to be even annoying. A waiter who for goodness sake, may be young and polite but repeated the menu variations in a rambling manner without emphasis or explanations, which I asked several times to understand but he started again with the litany learned by heart. We order a cutting board for 29.90 which is worth it (good quality) but without any explanation. Be careful: they ask you if you want focaccia to accompany and you think "well of course, with what do I eat cured meats, we are in Italy.." and instead not only are there 5 6 pieces but they cost €4 per mini basket and the bill increases. Ask for information to order more but the usual unappetizing litany arrives. In summary: a cutting board, 2 sparkling waters, 2 coffees and two "focaccias" €45. When I asked what I had paid the owner replied all annoyed. Absurd. Highly discouraged because it is Ariccia, famous for its conviviality and hospitality.

10/06/2025: Finally a traditional Chinese place near my house. I eat there often and also take home takeaway, always excellent. They also have an outdoor area for the summer. For me, the best dishes are on the traditional Chinese menu and I highly recommend the eggplant :) (The older reviews are from the previous place, which had much lower quality food!)

09/01/2025: Excellent hospitality, simple style, and excellent discretion. The apartment is always very clean and well-equipped, with the heating always on. Panoramic mountain views. The location is exceptional, just outside the village, which can be reached on foot in just 2 minutes. Campo Stella, the first ski lift, is a 25-minute walk away; it takes a little longer to reach Monte Terminillo. Suitable for families or groups of all ages for a decidedly quiet and intimate holiday, certainly for nature lovers. Only for breakfast, I would recommend a more varied and complete service; everyone at their table only found toast, jam, and a croissant.

15/01/2025: As a Sicilian I can say that I have never eaten such a good pizza and felt like I was in Sicily again (even the possibility of putting a fantastic anduja on the pizza) and friendly and very nice staff, fantastic pizzas and not even expensive. Pizzeria also with wonderful aesthetics, highly recommended!
