18/02/2025: L’aspettativa era alta: un ristorante quotato in un luogo di mare che pullula di locali proprio per la sua tradizione peschereccia. La delusione è stata totale. Ho trovato un’accoglienza e un servizio quasi scortese, quanto meno freddo. Prezzi altissimi specie se in relazione alla pochezza delle quantità dei piatti (si guardino le foto). Poco può salvare dalla mia stroncatura il fatto che il sapore di quel pochissimo assaggiato era di buon gusto (comunque non eccelso o straordinario). Coperto 3,50 euro, anche se vengo fatto accomodare sotto i portici, lungo la via, perché la sala è piena. Ci sta, anche perché l’apparecchiatura è in stoffa e c’è un buon cestino di pane. Antipasto misto 18 euro. Branzino al forno 18 euro, peccato che nel piatto ci fosse un mini-filetto e per il resto solo patate al forno che riempivano la portata. Con un quartino di vino bianco della Casa (6 euro) e l’acqua (3.50 euro) spendo 49 euro. Esperienza infelice, per alzarsi con la fame e la sensazione di essere stato solo un peso per il locale, accettato unicamente per incassare. Ristretto il menu e le possibilità di scelta in un luogo in cui ti aspetteresti qualche proposta in più, compatibilmente (ovvio) con la pesca e il mercato del momento.

15/02/2025: Cena di San Valentino. Bellissima esperienza. Le due sale sono arredate con molto gusto. Atmosfera calda e servizio cordiale e puntuale. Porta del Mar è sempre una garanzia. Piatti ottimi di pesce presentati con personalità. Chef Sandra sempre attenta che sbircia dalla cucina per assicurarsi che tutti siano soddisfatti. Voto: 11 stelle su 10!

25/01/2025: Consigliati dagli abitanti del posto, abbiamo pranzato in questo bel locale. Signora molto professionale ci ha accolto con molta cordialità. Abbiamo preso due primi e una ottima frittura, tutto molto buono. Un cibo "pulito" senza intingoli grassi, frittura leggerissima. Da tornare. Ottima anche la varietà di pane e crostini. Bella esperienza.

22/09/2024: We went to Marano for another place but it was closed for holidays. So we trusted reviews. What must I say, hot cold starter (I'm talking about fish) passable mostly marinated stuff. First course (spaghetti with seafood) good but the quantity depends on whether you are a regular customer for their double dish. But the worst thing was THE FRIED MIX, too bad I didn't take a photo, it was made up of three rings of squid and the rest small fish and shrimp. And here too the difference made whether you were known or not. So new customers will never be made.

03/02/2025: Una delusione totale, sia della materia prima molto scarsa che il posto, l’ospitalità ed il servizio. Ahimè è un posto che non tornerò mai più e mai consiglierò a nessuno. Non voglio andare nel dettagli, ma una cosa che mi è saltata all’occhio, sul gratinato la capasanta era più piccola di un canestrello a livello di “polpa” sicuramente sarà stato messo in canestrello al suo posto, la frittura unta ed olio estremamente vecchio. Mi permetto di fare questa recensione e comparazione con altri posti essendo una persona che viaggia e mangia spesso fuori. È stata una esperienza NEGATIVA da non ripetere.

07/11/2024: Buon ristorante, ci vado spesso, la cucina è di buona qualità. Personale cordiale e ben preparato. I piatti esprimo una cucina che sazia in varie regioni d'Italia. Da provare i primi di pesce, con pasta fatta in casa.

20/10/2024: It is the fourth time that my partner and I (also with other couples) have gone to this beautiful restaurant by the sea. At the beginning you are immediately welcomed by the pampering of Beppe and his staff, who are certainly first-rate. The quality/price ratio is truly optimal and you can easily choose between pizza, fish and meat. It's difficult to recommend dishes, because everything is really succulent. At the end of the meal you can't help but have the mango sorbet brought to you, truly a panacea. The concept of family is fundamental in this place. Highly recommended.
