21/07/2025: As a Dutch person, I didn't enjoy the food, but otherwise, the service was good. If you're more cultured, you might want to try this. If, like me, you prefer the simple pizza and pasta you're used to in the Netherlands, this probably isn't the place for you.

17/06/2025: The most delicious pizza I've ever tried!!! Very nice staff. My daughter ate two huge pieces of pizza and asked for more. That's the coolest compliment.

16/06/2025: Very good pizza, the staff speaks little English, for eating on site they add 1.5 €, fees, it is in the price list, but the pizza is delicious, especially the dough. I personally think that the so-called small one is enough for 2 people but to eat it is for one, thin dough .

02/07/2025: Noi a Cormons i nostri amici a Trieste . Decidiamo di trovarci a cena a mezza strada a Monfalcone e tiriamo i dadi scegliendo un ristorante che nessuno conosceva. Sorpresa in una zona un po’ improbabile troviamo un piccolo ristorante gestito con competenza e simpatia ! Stefano in cucina e Margherita la moglie in sala . Partiamo da un insalata di mare così fresca e sapida che non mi capitava da anni idem per i molluschi gratinati! I primi speciali tagliolini al Granporro e gli spaghetti al nero con le seppie .Sul pesce non si scherza spigole rombi ombrine e molto altro tutto pescato nel golfo. Buoni anche i dolci . Servizio attento e prezzi più che ragionevoli. Lo consiglio senza remore e considerato il rapporto qualità e prezzo gli assegno senza esitazione un punteggio molto alto. All’attivo anche il parcheggio comodo e ben posizionato.

21/06/2025: Non fatevi ingannare dal luogo in cui si trova il ristorante: dentro c'è un altro mondo. Si è accolti cortesemente e si mangia molto bene: ottima la materia prima e il rapporto qualità/quantità/prezzo. Menù esclusivamente a base di pesce. Ai bambini vengono anche dati dei pennarelli: alla fine scopri anche un'artista a tavola!

08/07/2025: What can I say? A lovely surprise. Located near the port of Monfalcone, where there aren't many restaurants. I've been twice, both times for lunch, where they offer daily menus and set dishes. The salads were truly well-made and tasty. The first courses are equally impressive, both in quantity and quality. The staff is helpful and friendly. Prices are average and affordable. I recommend it.

29/03/2025: 29.3.25 - latest review: I returned after a long time and I can confirm that the food is very good. I highly recommend it for a quick and excellent lunch. Old review - Trattoria with abundant and genuine dishes. Fast service. Crowded for lunch by workers throughout the week. The dishes change daily. Usually 4/5 first courses, 4/5 second courses plus 3 or 4 side dishes. The menu is available on the blackboard positioned inside or outside the restaurant, but is still listed and explained well by the waitresses. The sandwich menu is not very publicized but is always available. Reasonable prices.

01/06/2025: Great food, from the pizzeria to the restaurant. It's not the best pizza you'll ever eat, but it's a good pizza. Really great restaurant in my opinion! Ambience a bit outdated but still welcoming and warm.

22/03/2025: I was there few days ago with my wife! We had amazing time! The young waitress was so friendly and she knew english so well (which is a rarity in Italy apparently 😂!) We had two glasses of prosecco that the waitress suggested, amazing! Will definitely come back for the drinks and service!

21/06/2025: Wir haben im dazugehörigem Hotel gewohnt und nur durch Zufall bemerkt, dass sich im Garten dahinter ein Restaurant befindet. Für den Abend einen Tisch reserviert und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Wirklich eines der besten Fischrestaurants in dem wir jemals waren. Danke

18/06/2025: Very family restaurant with excellent food. We visited it several times while we were on holiday here. Good value for money! The waiters are nice and attentive! I can only recommend it! It is no coincidence that it is mainly visited by locals!

02/07/2025: Delicious pizza and affordable prices. The menu is not long and includes pizza, sandwiches and a daily dish. During our visit, we noticed that employees of the nearby shipyard also eat there. The aesthetics and atmosphere of the place are not stunning. You should expect a classic Italian local pizzeria. I definitely recommend it for a quick meal.

23/06/2025: Unexpected It's called a "tavern", but in terms of quality it has nothing to envy of the best restaurants The only flaw perhaps is the availability of parking, a problem that can be solved not far away... and in any case it is certainly worth the 2 minute walk

22/06/2025: Stuff was nice, but food not. Restaurant has a lot of good reviews but i am not sure why. We had fried fish plate and prawns pasta and it was tasteless. A lot of people was inside so looks like popular spot but i dont understand why.

13/06/2025: In town for work I walk around in the evening to find a place for dinner and I find this Osteria which is right in the square. Friendly and nice welcome, I sit inside given the uncertain weather, but they also have tables outside. I take gnocchi with goulash and I must say I made the right choice given the goodness of the food. Then I move on to dessert, chocolate cake. For being in the square and for the quality I would say honest prices. I will keep it in mind for the next trip to these parts.

29/04/2025: Inside it is a very beautiful tent. Nicely furnished. Terrace is a poor result inside. There are many more cozy terraces in the between streets.
