22/12/2025: 5 stars, full of them!! Wow, everything was delicious! We were there yesterday for my partner's surprise birthday, and everything was excellent! Since it was the holidays, I booked in advance, and everything was perfect. Thanks to Nicoletta, who prepared the lactose-free first courses as requested, maintaining the traditional flavors. Fresh homemade pasta and the grilled meat were top-notch! The menu included two first courses, grilled meat, and side dishes. The restaurant was spacious despite being packed, and the staff was helpful and friendly. Would I go back? YES!

11/01/2026: Not being locals, we tried it on recommendation, but the experience certainly can't be described as positive. Welcoming place and knowledgeable staff. At a table of 12, we had 3 mixed platters as appetizers and a grill for everyone. The grill didn't have any ribs or a single sausage, what was there was good, but the variety was absolutely lacking. 2 bottles of wine, 4/5 desserts, and 5/6 coffees, all for €36 per person... they seem a bit too much, I really don't think we'll be back.

09/01/2026: My colleagues and I went for lunch the week before Christmas. Unfortunately, there were some issues with the service; half our table received their lunch in a normal amount of time, while the other half had to wait over an hour. There must have been some issue, since a table that arrived after us received their food first. However, as an apology, they gave us a discount on the total.

16/12/2025: We had dinner on a Saturday evening with friends. The staff was very bored and uninvolved. When bringing us the wine, the waiter asked if we wanted glasses... The menu was hastily explained.

11/10/2025: A truly fantastic restaurant with a small hotel 🏨. We've been there three times now and have been impressed each time by the quality of the food, the friendliness of the service, and the quality of the rooms. We'd love to come back!

16/10/2025: The wine arrived by the glass without being poured at our table, the pappardelle were few but the pocini were plentiful, and the tortelloni with pappardelle and cheese were a bit undercooked.

14/01/2026: A great find in Faenza. Nove100 Cafe is the perfect place if you're looking for a well-made breakfast and an atmosphere that makes you happy to stay even for a few hours to work. Coffee and breakfast are top picks, but above all, they offer fast internet, comfortable tables, and a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that allows you to focus without stress. No hustle and bustle, no rush. You sit, work, and enjoy. One of those places that quickly becomes a must-visit when you're in the area. Highly recommended.

14/01/2026: We came in looking for a place to work on our laptops, and I have to say we found a truly special place. A super welcoming and warm atmosphere, with books on the shelves and a relaxing atmosphere that makes you want to stay there for hours (perfect for just reading or taking a quiet break). We had some truly delicious banana bread, as well as a spectacular cappuccino with hazelnut milk. I loved the details: the dessert counter and the "homey" and thoughtful atmosphere that permeates the entire place. I think it's also a great place for a leisurely glass of wine (we went in the morning, but it's obviously perfect for a more "aperitivo" moment, too). Highly recommended if you want to work in a beautiful and comfortable environment... or simply treat yourself to a well-made breakfast/aperitivo!

08/11/2025: Excellent Romagna cuisine. I had the seafood risotto, it was excellent!! Delicious desserts, I recommend it! I'll be back.

09/10/2025: A modest trattoria frequented by workers. The potato tortelli were good. The cappelletti had very little filling, bordering on sour tomato sauce. The torta fritta was good, but the caramelized figs were burnt. Affordable prices.

05/07/2025: We have traveled to Northern Italy for the past 3 years (2023,24 & 25). Syrene was one of the best restaurants that we have ever been to in any country. The staff, the food and the setting were superb. Paulo was the waiter that usually served us. We traveled to Italy again this but it is with sadness that we see Syrene has closed. We do hope that it opens again because it is a special place. John Dunne (Ireland).

04/09/2025: I came in just to try the gelato, and I have to say it was really good, creamy, and with a balanced flavor. The place seemed nice, but the surprise was the plastic cup... really, in 2025? Still disposable containers, when there are sustainable and compostable alternatives everywhere! It's a shame, because gelato like this deserves to be served with a little attention to the environment. I hope they change this soon.

06/01/2026: I have stayed here several times over the last 15 years. The people who run it are great, the customer service is great and the breakfast is very good. Unfortunately I see the same furniture now that was there several years ago. It has taken a beating. A number of the floor boards had paint peeling. I know they want to keep it rustic, however they seriously need to upgrade the rooms
