The choice of pasta is right and you always find them fresh, from the beginning to the end of the day. Cream with lots of vanilla, very special mentions: the Chantilly Maritozzi, the croissant pastry, and for me the top... The babà mignon. Strong, alcoholic, aromatic, top!

14/06/2025: We went to the restaurant over the weekend. Fixed price menu if you want, otherwise à la carte. Fantastic dishes, local, often with raw materials of their own production. A renovated stable. Parmesan at a more than fair price if you want to buy it. Jams and a wonderful parmesan cream also for sale. If you are hot, but there is air conditioning, you can also enjoy the pool. We will be back soon.

14/05/2025: I went to dinner at this restaurant with colleagues. The restaurant is very nice and welcoming, but it doesn't have a dedicated parking lot. Being in Salsomaggiore, I can imagine that during periods of high tourist influx there is little parking, even though in this period (May) on Tuesday we found a place quite easily. It is a family-run restaurant, the lady who served us was very kind, but unfortunately the service was extremely slow: for an appetizer, a first course and a dessert I think two and a half hours is too long. Even though the lady explained to us that they didn't expect to receive so many reservations on a Tuesday, in my opinion this is not an excuse: if you keep the restaurant open and accept reservations, as a professional you must be able to serve everyone adequately. Decent food, but all in all nothing particularly exciting.

09/07/2025: If I could give zero, I would have done it my son's wedding. The owner, Mr. Luigi, casts his line and fishes because at the first meeting, the menu costs €70 per person. He immediately asks for a deposit. You see the place and decide to book. But then in the end, they wanted to add a €50 extra fish per person and a €5 sorbet per person. We bought the mosquito candles ourselves. If there were children three years and older sitting there, they paid the full price. High chairs for children were only available for two; you had to bring your own. Then, during the reception, the owner called the groom because he wanted an extra €200 for the 1 kilogram of pasta made for the children. Then the dessert and fruit buffet cost over a thousand euros. There were two trays of fruit and two of miniature pastries. Not to mention the restrooms, the owner said there was a woman who kept them tidy. Two hours into the reception, they were malfunctioning, doors wouldn't close, and there was no paper towel to dry your hands. Terrible experience. You couldn't find Mr. Luigi. You asked for an explanation on the sheet and he said to speak to his Father I don't recommend it, also because I made a bad impression on the guests. It's a place to avoid in my opinion. Stay away if you can, and it's a money-suck.

26/05/2025: A tourist passing through, attracted by the excellent reviews, I stopped to get a kebab and I must say I was not wrong. Excellent crunchy bread and excellent condiments, excellent service. As for the meat, it is good but we all know that it is not home-grown.

Giardiniera (top) (maybe a pinch less vinegar..) 0 KM cold cuts platter Excellent Culatello (finely sliced ​​by Oscar) TOP Cappa di Parma (you could smell the cellar) fantastic and then the first courses, with maltagliati with braised meat TOP! The location is very nice, the service was poor, the staff was distracted, they came out with the plates in their hands asking who they belonged to around the room. We all ate separately because the plates did not arrive together. I left a candle to put on the birthday girl's dessert but the dessert arrived without it (the waiter had forgotten it in his apron). The food was tasteless, the spaghetti with clams seemed like just pasta with oil, the swordfish was dry and tasteless. Not a good experience for sure. It's a shame because I think the place has a lot of potential
