11/10/2025: We stop by for breakfast before rushing to the highway. We're amazed by the perfectly leavened croissants with expertly topped creams. The swan cream puff is particularly impressive, and especially the perfect crispiness of the sfogliatelle. Highly recommended, and I'll be back!

I had a savory brioche with a perfect, crispy, melt-in-the-mouth pastry, and a barley cappuccino with soy, the most difficult to prepare, but the very knowledgeable waitress made the soy milk cream (which doesn't lend itself to whipping) superb. The best breakfast of my life, not to mention the exquisite staff. Congratulations.

21/09/2025: We got married at the agriturismo just yesterday. The owner was always very kind and available to answer any questions during the months of preparation. The prices are excellent for the quality and quantity of the dishes. The food was impeccable every time we ate there. The service was perfect, and all the waiters were extremely kind. The location is also beautiful both inside and out, and there's a small playground so the kids could even play. We couldn't have asked for better! The guests were also very happy.

12/11/2025: Let me start by saying that this pizzeria deserves my compliments! Amazing pizza! Fantastic dough, soft, super light, and super-quality ingredients! Excellent value for money for the pizzas, and the prices of the other dishes are also super affordable. The only thing that left me a little disappointed was the €3 cover charge per person... Clean and welcoming atmosphere. The only thing I can say is that a new look for the bathrooms could freshen things up a bit. But I also really appreciate the kindness.

They only had a daily menu for lunch, so we could choose between two first courses and two second courses; no dessert available. The food was good, with adequate portions and simple but truly delicious and affordable dishes. I recommend...
13/09/2025: I don't know if something unexpected happened that the customers weren't told about, but we waited a long time before eating. The waiters apologized for the wait, but we weren't satisfied at all.
I won't be back.

07/11/2025: A stellar Sunday lunch at this splendid restaurant...tortelli...magnificent plate of boiled meat with sauces...very fast staff...expedited service...and to top it all off...the owner who answers me in Piacenza dialect...too forward...highly recommended...next time I return to Italy I will definitely return...I returned today, November 7, 2025, just after arriving in Italy, and I gorged on the trolley of boiled meats and sauces, which were abundant and delicious. I finished with delicious zuppa inglese and black cherries in alcohol. Always special.

03/11/2025: An excellent experience at this osteria in the heart of Salsomaggiore. The service was excellent, friendly, and welcoming. Perhaps a little slow, but that wasn't a problem for me. The dishes were all very good, as well as sophisticated in flavor, not always 100% traditional (and that's fine). The wine recommended by the host was good. The place was a little cold for my taste; I would have preferred a little more warmth. Still, I recommend stopping by if you're in the area.
02/11/2025: The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, the place was lovely, but unfortunately I have to give a poor review of the food because the meat we ordered for four of us was incredibly tough, even though it was rare. We may have been unlucky, but this review is based on our experience. Finally, the bill was exorbitant, averaging €70 per person. We ordered everything off-menu, namely: an appetizer consisting of a single mushroom (just one, not a plate full of them), a very tough sliced steak, and four desserts that were mostly baked apples, which were nothing special, and two bottles of wine. Everyone except two people who only ordered a first course and dessert, which was truly exorbitant.
These off-menu items were probably very expensive; I can't believe otherwise, but after the bill, I personally wouldn't want to try this place again.

17/10/2025: The tagliatelle with tomato sauce failed (pre-made supermarket tomatoes). Lemon tagliolini were good, but nothing to write home about. The carpaccio and roast pork were very good. Overall, it was decent. We paid €75 for an appetizer, two first courses, and two second courses.
26/09/2025: Typical old-fashioned trattoria, everything homemade, simple and of excellent quality.
