12/05/2025: The place was recommended by acquaintances and after visiting their website we booked a table six weeks in advance. We arrived full of enthusiasm and expectations. What a disappointment. The place is divided into many areas, well-kept and clean. Courteous and professional welcome. We were brought the menus, the off-menu and the wine list. We expected a variety that wasn't there, there was only the goose-based salami. Not only that, the menu wasn't clear, we stressed that it was the first time we were there so the dishes had to be presented, given the lack of information on the menu itself. If we hadn't asked the waitress for clarification we wouldn't have known that with the assorted salami they bring you baked polenta. I wanted to have the goose breast with rocket and balsamic vinegar, but I was told that there was mixed salami on the cutting board. Frankly, the first courses didn't pique our curiosity and we both took the roast duck from the off-menu. Still Gutturnio wine. A platter of cold cuts arrived with literally two slices of salami, three small pieces of polenta (for two), goose cooked ham and goose mortadella. On a separate plate three slices of goose breast with rocket and balsamic vinegar. A platter for two. When instead we wanted to order two appetizers. Oh well. Never mind. Then the roast duck, good, with potatoes in small quantities. For dessert a salted caramel chocolate mousse, excellent, and a slice of tart with amaretti. At the end of the meal a nocino, offered at the time of the bill. I can't say I ate badly, but whoever took the order, having been warned that it was our first time, should have presented the dishes and understood from our questions that we were there to eat goose, which is only present in the cold cuts. Perhaps an update of the site would be appropriate.

11/05/2025: Magnificent atmosphere for an unexpected dinner. Let yourself be amazed by the goose specialties, the cured meats with fried pie are really excellent.

12/05/2025: We ate very well at Trattoria Ceriati! I appreciated the welcoming style of the restaurant and, above all, the quality of the dishes, prepared with great care and attention to detail. A special thank you to the waiter, whose advice proved invaluable in enjoying the appetizer to the fullest. A truly pleasant experience. Thank you!

14/05/2025: I went to dinner at this restaurant with colleagues. The restaurant is very nice and welcoming, but it doesn't have a dedicated parking lot. Being in Salsomaggiore, I can imagine that during periods of high tourist influx there is little parking, even though in this period (May) on Tuesday we found a place quite easily. It is a family-run restaurant, the lady who served us was very kind, but unfortunately the service was extremely slow: for an appetizer, a first course and a dessert I think two and a half hours is too long. Even though the lady explained to us that they didn't expect to receive so many reservations on a Tuesday, in my opinion this is not an excuse: if you keep the restaurant open and accept reservations, as a professional you must be able to serve everyone adequately. Decent food, but all in all nothing particularly exciting.

12/05/2025: First of all, don't let the name, Stuzzicheria, fool you. This is the most beautiful restaurant in Salsomaggiore and surrounding areas. In the center, next to the Berzieri thermal monument, very well looked after, small rooms so there is never noise or confusion, delightful exterior. Few dishes (guarantee of quality and freshness) and well combined, delicious fried pie, homemade pasta, as well as desserts for which I absolutely recommend reserving a space. Professional service that puts you at ease, a more than correct bill. Daniela and Andrea, the owner-managers are special. If you want to have lunch or dinner in Salsomaggiore this is the right place.

03/04/2025: I am a convinced (and fussy) customer of this pastry shop. Formidable for tea time and breakfast, there is space, there is everything to make a good impression. The choice of pasta is right and you always find them fresh, from the beginning to the end of the day. Cream with lots of vanilla, very special mentions: the Chantilly Maritozzi, the croissant pastry, and for me the top... The babà mignon. Strong, alcoholic, aromatic, top!

The only sore point is the unique environment which obviously lends itself to generating market confusion.. In all ways to be recommended even if objectively not cheap. Excellent location for good relaxation.. But not during lunch.

25/04/2025: Negative experience: equipment that is too basic, poor quality-price ratio: 130 euros for three for 3 starters and 2 first courses, wine by the glass and Coca-Cola purchased in a bar because it was not available by choice of the manager. Not recommended.
