Presented in a simple but effective way and, without a doubt, of excellent quality. A perfect start to our stay in Emilia ♥️

The only sore point is the unique environment which obviously lends itself to generating market confusion.. In all ways to be recommended even if objectively not cheap. 24/02/2025: Una garanzia anche dopo un po di tempo che non passiamo da queste parti. Il menù del territorio dove difficile sceglier un piatto sbagliato, non mi stanca mai. Ottimi antipasti della casa cosi come ottimi i primi e da citare anche i dolci, il tutto accompagnato da una bottiglia di lambrusco, tutto molto bene. Personale socievole e preciso. Sicuramente torneremo.

09/03/2025: We passed by by chance and luckily we got it right. We had a cheese platter as an appetizer, followed by beetroot risotto, taleggio and the typical local pasta, pisarej. I wanted to try the baked duck as a second course and I can say that it was very good, then finally the trio of cakes. I complimented the owner when paying the bill. Prices normal.

14/03/2025: Attracted by the nice reviews, we went to this place with our children. We can only confirm all the compliments they deserve. Very high quality of products and equally pleasant service.

16/03/2025: A trip to Tabiano from the one in Reggio Emilia, we arrive on site and, before proceeding to visit the Castle, we make sure to book for lunch. We enter the inn and we are amazed! We find ourselves catapulted between the Provençal, the shabby chic, the vintage, the antique, the rustic... Every detail speaks of a research carried out with criteria, nothing left to chance, everything to welcome us in the best possible way, from the splendid closed veranda with period stove, to the toilet... We are welcomed Oscar, the owner, perhaps a little shy but with a natural and spontaneous kindness. We had lunch with tomato gnocchi, black pig with potatoes, parmesan pie, ricotta with berry jam, mixed salad, and yogurt pudding also with berries. Excellent!!! I highly recommend the visit to the Castle but, book first at the Locanda da Oscar!!!💚

08/03/2025: Location in a beautiful area next to the Tebiano castle, as soon as we entered it seemed that time had stopped. Cozy place with attention to the smallest details. Very friendly and courteous owner as well as all the staff. My partner and I had the pumpkin pie and goat's cheese as starters, tagliatelle with leek cream stuffed with guinea fowl, potatoes and polenta accompanied by good Lambrusco and finally violet ice cream and nougat semifreddo, what can I say, all divine, a paradise for the palate. Adequate dinner price. I definitely recommend.

23/02/2025: Entrati in Salsomaggiore nel tardo pomeriggio, avevamo voglia di una merenda gustosa...e abbiamo trovato il posto giusto! Una vetrina molto invitante con prodotti di piccola pasticceria, diverse torte nei frigo (non le abbiamo provate ma la vista era ottima) e cioccolata con panna montata artigianale a parte. Prezzi onestissimi.

10/01/2025: Beautiful relais to stay in, surrounded by greenery and tranquility. I recommend the rooms in the watchtower, where you can truly experience what it means to stay in a castle. The suites in the watchtower are large, spacious, some with a fireplace and a hot tub. The bathrooms are large with antique-style furnishings. The relais is structured on various levels of the village and the rooms are located around the village. I highly recommend trying the spa, I was lucky and when I booked it I was the only one so I enjoyed it to the full. I also recommend the massages, the girls are very good and super professional. In the summer you can also use the outdoor pool.

06/01/2025: Con mia moglie abbiamo pernottato presso la struttura "antico borgo di tabiano castello" con annesso ristorante. Location fantastica con richiami al passato... Con prodotti tipici locali, tra antipasti, primi e dolci, impossibile non essere soddisfatti. Personale cortese ed attento ai particolari. Consigliato!!
