22/01/2025: Old-time tavern atmosphere, fast service, very friendly and helpful staff. We were warned that the tasting menu was extensive but we didn't think so much. Everything was excellent, we left satisfied and rolling, excellent value for money. Advise!

28/12/2024: A farmhouse that I frequent periodically without staying overnight, there is an educational farm, bird watching center, paths and shooting range. Swarovski points. Excellent catering, simple and very tasty cuisine

17/08/2024: Small rustic place with the possibility of eating on the veranda. Excellent food despite it being mid-August and the place full. Welcomed and immediately served a very generous starter not to mention an encore of first and second courses with meat.
Fair price given the holiday.
We will definitely be back ☺️.

At lunch it's basically a canteen. No trace of a menu and offered VOICELY only 3 first courses of dry semolina pasta, with banal condiments.
Anyway, it's shit, and I heard that they get positive reviews from friends.
17/11/2024: I want to respond to the owner of the restaurant when we came to eat in that tavern that he calls a restaurant that rude waitress told us that that day as the first there was only the couch grass which was the one she brought to everyone if they wanted there were also the penne with sauce or fusilli, no one gave us the menu, ok, I'll start by saying that the gramigna was also disgusting, not even the one you know how to make, as the capacity of the place that day was around twenty of us and it was squeezed tight I don't know how they manage to fit in 70 people as I wrote below the owner better tell less lies. Then outside the restaurant he has to say that during the week he makes the company menu while on Sundays he makes the top menu with all the goodies because what does someone who comes from outside Montese know? Last thing, I'm a worker too but those rude workers who come to eat there who burped and spoke in a loud voice that you couldn't stand are not part of the working class but rather rude. If you want a poor place, this is it in terms of food, place and service, the first gramigna fusilli or penne with sauce the first mountain people I don't know where they were then you can eat the pasta they serve everywhere and then the place is small so if there are a lot of you it's not good .. The photos of other reviews that say you can eat all sorts of things are not true, maybe they ate in another restaurant, also because we weren't even given a menu so explain to me how we made the choice. Since there are other restaurants in Montese, I recommend opting for one of these

30/10/2024: Mi dispiace fare due stelle ma sono rimasta un po' delusa dal cibo, c'eravamo stati altre volte ma stavolta non siamo rimasti soddisfatti.
12/08/2024: Agriturismo posto sulla strada tra Montese e Maserno, facilmente raggiungibile. Parcheggio facile. Accoglienza ottima e calorosa. Chiara e Mario sono due brave persone, simpatiche. Il loro agriturismo è diventato una macchina troppo grande per loro che hanno avuto in passato grandi successi ed ora campano sugli allori. Due ambienti molto grandi con tanti tavoli. Arredamento tipico da agriturismo. Pulito. Apparecchiatura sufficiente. Il servizio, fatto direttamente dai titolari più un cameriere di aiuto è cortese, simpatico, paziente. Manca un menù scritto, ma ion un agriturismo è tollerabile. Il menù non è molto vario, ma questo è un pregio, garanzia di prodotti freschi. Abbiamo ordinato l'antipasto di gnocco fritto, salumi, sottaceti e Parmigiano Reggiano di montagna, che si è rivelato buono, ma molto ridotto nella quantità. Abbiamo chiesto un supplemento di prosciutto che ci è stato conteggiato come un secondo piatto. Come primo le tagliatelle al ragù. Le tagliatelle, evidentemente fatte in casa avevano la pasta molto grossa, io preferisco quelle del supermercato. Il ragù era buono, non eccezionale. Anche il piatto di tagliatelle non era abbondante. Il dolce, che io non ho assaggiato, sembrava buono ed abbondante. Vino Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro in bottiglia. Caffè e nocino.
Al momento del conto il sig. Mario ha conteggiato quello che avevamo mangiato ed ha emesso uno scontrino come se avessimo mangiato a prezzo fisso. Se posso dare un consiglio, non richiesto, predisporrei due menu fissi, da far scegliere al cliente: uno con antipasto, primo e dolce, l'altro con l'aggiunta del secondo. Credo che per chi sceglie un agriturismo sia un'opzione gradita, preferibile ad un menu alla carta molto ristretto che poi viene fatto pagare come un menu fisso. Non so se tornerò.

18/11/2024: Abbiamo soggiornato in Maserno di Montese per motivi lavorativi per circa 3 giorni consecutivi, in questi giorni abbiamo ordinato pasti presso questa Osteria sia a pranzo che per la cena. Un solo commento: “ECCEZIONALE”, cibo di alta qualità e porzioni superiori alle aspettative, indifferentemente se trattasi di primi o secondi. Personale cordiale e premuroso, ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.
