07/04/2025: Location of great impact, inserted in a naturalistic environment in Volano. A farmhouse suspended between the waters is connected to the mainland by a wooden bridge. Everything acquires poetry with the slow rhythm of water. Large room with fireplace furnished in rural style, elegant table setting and subsequent plating. Welcoming, kind and attentive staff. We ate a welcome entrée with cod meatball on chickpea mousse with squid ink, accompanied by welcome bubbles, as an appetizer a warm seafood salad with steamed vegetables and a prawn skewer with a side of broccoli and wasabi sauce, as a second course a mixed fried fish and grilled sea bass with spinach. A good Vernaccia di San Gimignano from the Le Colombaie winery was our wine for the fish lunch. Crème brulèe in a cup offered with coffee. To finish, a nice moment in the sun in excellent company on the outdoor terrace. Beautiful day, lovely day!

21/04/2025: Characteristic restaurant built inside a deconsecrated church. The restaurant is located in the lagoon, surrounded by water. There is no menu, the restaurant is run by 1 person who takes care of everything. Slow service. Unfortunately the food is poor.
13/04/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant with a group of friends and ate the best grilled eel of the weekend. Equally good is the Catalan made with peppers, onions and tomatoes, but the tagliolini au lupini is less good, the mar armi are also very good and the cuttlefish as an appetizer literally melted in your mouth. All washed down with a bottle of white wine for the sum of €40 each. The environment is particular, it is a deconsecrated church, the interior is a mix of things from various origins which also make it fascinating. Service a little slow but after all there is one waiter for the whole Sara and therefore he certainly did his best, we ate well and will return.

Today I had the pleasure of learning about this reality and I must say that it was a pleasant discovery.
Thanks to the very kind owner, my wife and I were able to taste the different sand wines derived from the vineyards adjacent to the structure, all truly excellent, accompanied by an accurate explanation of both production and consumption.
Excellent local products, well done.
20/12/2024: We made a short stop in this place where everything "is a strong temptation"... Excellent wines and typical local products waiting to be discovered.

23/03/2025: Tra arredi e dettagli d’epoca, l'atmosfera d'altri tempi ben si sposa con una cucina di qualità che racconta il territorio e la tradizione, valorizzando i prodotti locali con un tocco innovativo. Primi piatti molto ben riusciti, non del tutto soddisfatti, invece, dell’anguilla in umido, prediligendo altra cottura. Lodevole la professionalità e l'attenzione al cliente.
09/03/2025: Un’oasi di tranquillità culinaria. E come il critico del famoso film di animazione Ratatouille si ritrova proiettato nella sua infanzia da un piatto « comune » che gli viene proposto dallo chef, così è capitato a me, una sera di marzo in questo angolo del Delta del Po. E, ripensandoci, è questo che cerco in una cena in famiglia: una cucina che si fa forte di tradizione, qualità e ingredienti locali, localissimi, che non potresti trovare altrove e forse nemmeno più in zona se non sapessi dove cercare, lavorati con sapienza antica, senza andare a ricercare effetti speciali e stranianti. E pazienza, se la piastrelle del pavimento si sono incrinate per i movimenti del fondo sabbioso e il piano così perfettamente orizzontale non è, quello che si trova nei piatti è in perfetta armonia con i luoghi e permette anche agli avventori di entrarci. Potremmo chiamarla: estasi.

08/04/2025: Personale lento e confusionario prezzi alti esterno locale poco curato titolari poco presenti una birra e uno spritz peraltro sbagliato 35 minuti di attesa okay siamo in un posto turistico ma non al caffè florian...... è un peccato perché per il posto è la varietà proposta meriterebbe più attenzione.

17/09/2024: Great atmosphere at Bar Bubu!
During my visit to Bar Bubu in Valdudga I was pleasantly surprised. Are you ordering a beer? Then you just get a platter with cheese and chips, at no extra cost! It really feels like a warm, welcoming place where you immediately feel at home. Around 6 p.m. they even went around with fresh pizza to hand out to the guests. A truly great experience, especially after a day in the mountains. Definitely recommended if you are in the area!
