15/06/2025: The three stars are due to the final dessert, a millefeuille with berries that raised the average of what we had seen up to that point: crunchy pastry, not soggy, and fairly light cream. For the rest, we are quite far from the quality so much praised on their website. We had a seafood salad that, to put it briefly, seemed to have been taken from a bag from any deli counter, and I don't think I'm far from it. Plus a jumble (and the term is really appropriate) of mussel and clam shells, half empty, pieces of such shells and shrimp legs... so, also be careful what you put in your mouth, because the pieces were really small (I use diminutives by the way!) I'll take a risk: avoid the shells, in addition to the carrot slices also a good crunchy celery, two olives, some colored cherry tomatoes, a little corn... nothing too prohibitive. And maybe the eighteen euros you charge for it, I say, maybe, make sense. Even more so with a three-euro cover charge.

19/06/2025: Excellent value for money, the food is good and fresh, water and soft drinks included in the fixed lunch, the place is a little dated but the spaces are fine - the ventilation should be changed a little as the windows do not open like vasistas (tilting) - Internal parking at the restaurant entrance - easily accessible from the main road.

10/06/2025: Bad experience!!! Fried food greasy and soft not crunchy, terrible service: some have already finished eating, some are still waiting for the food to arrive, I'll stop here🤐

11/06/2025: I celebrated my daughter's communion on Sunday 08/06...what can I say, everything was perfect from start to finish...we ate very well, the service was excellent and helpful, the place was very beautiful and welcoming. I highly recommend it

13/04/2025: Very simple and welcoming place, more maintenance should be done externally, in particular the children's play area. Very friendly staff. Excellent appetizer, unwelcome first courses, in particular the pappardelle with white ragù which it was not clear what ragù it was..... Excellent second courses, welcome desserts. To return to try another menu. Being a tavern with a fixed menu, prices are above average.

30/06/2025: I chose Villa Smeraldo to celebrate my 18th birthday and I couldn't have wished for anything better. The location is simply breathtaking: elegant, with attention to every detail, with perfect spaces both inside and outside to experience a special evening. The staff was impeccable: professional, kind and always available. The food was exquisite, from appetizers to desserts, all prepared with great care and quality. The atmosphere that was created thanks to the organization was magical - music, lights, service... everything perfect. It was an unforgettable evening that I will always carry in my heart. Thanks to all the staff at Villa Smeraldo for making my 18th so unique. Highly recommended for those who want to experience a truly special event! 💫🎂🎉

26/06/2025: Terrible!! I went to my niece's 18th birthday party on June 22nd. We arrived at the venue at 8pm with the birthday girl. Dirty, filthy bathrooms left like that from the event we had at lunch. A huge and completely deserted outdoor space. Not a chair, not a bench, not a bin or an ashtray. Inside the room, the names on the tables indicated by the table plan were missing and there was also no staff to ask. So the kids were left standing without knowing where to sit. I called someone twice to accompany people to the tables. The welcome drink was served on the appetizer. Poorly equipped outside, there was nothing to drink and very few canapés and pancakes made on the spot arrived, good, at least that! The DJ and the vocalist can change jobs. The food overall was acceptable but the fruit was left over from the previous ceremony. The cake on the other hand was really good so well done to the pastry shop. Finding the bathrooms so dirty is really unacceptable!

16/04/2025: After waiting for 1 hour and in a confirmed order from the store and while time was running and the countdown canceled our order, efood says that the store was closed or it rejected it but on google the store appears to be open, and as we know someone has to accept the order and needs approval. So goodbye meat we will not eat again....

25/05/2025: Excellent breakfast, brioche made by them very good. They filled my brioche with exceptional pistachio cream. The quality of Illy coffee is indisputable. I had the cappuccino really exquisite. When I pass through Carrara for me it is a must stop. On Sundays the parking in Piazza Matteotti is free.

11/05/2025: Pleasant rediscovery, I went there as a small, quiet place, excellent coffee and pastries, prices lower than the current ones, kind and smiling staff, I will definitely go back, place inside the gallery, once the center of life, now a distant but pleasant memory
