We had lunch with friends and had bucatini with rabbit sauce...and then the rabbit cooked in an earthenware pot, truly delicious.

07/08/2026: Spectacular dinner at ARKA! A dream location nestled in the rock, breathtaking views, and a super relaxing atmosphere. Exceptional dishes that masterfully reinterpret local flavors, and excellent service. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the island!
02/08/2026: Second visit this year and… disappointing.
The place is still beautiful with a superb view and a very zen and cool atmosphere, but the food no longer lives up to the upscale setting. Basic dishes that don't live up to the location. In 2025 the restaurant was closed for renovations; in 2024 everything was perfect. Disappointing. What a shame.

31/07/2026: Enzo greeted us with the largest smile and his food, without a menu, was simply fantastic! The freshest ingredients, cooked with love and care. An authentic place in Ischia, hidden in the mountains and out of sight - but what a delight! We shared a grill seafood plate with a tasty salad and the tomato bruschettas Enzo suggested were beyond tasty!

I got a welcome prosecco and a suggestion for the ravioli with rabbit.
Everything was perfect! 👌🏻
Also the tiramisu!
The waiters were very kind and friendly, the best during my vacation.
Highly recommended!

27/01/2026: Pleasantly surprised by the coffee with my feet in the water for €1.50! The prices of the dishes are also very reasonable for planning an afternoon at the beach in a small cove of blue water including a hot spring.
10/10/2025: Sorgeto a wonderful bay, the restaurant has few dishes but the service is fast and the staff are kind, excellent bruschetta and I ate a very good plate of octopus gnocchi.

20/08/2026: As soon as I got there, I said it was easily the most beautiful place I’ve ever been. It felt like some kind of gorgeous wedding venue!! 😍 our waitress was nice, and the food was delicious (particularly the bruschetta pictured here). Breathtaking sunset. We arrived a little early before they opened but staff were accommodating and let us sit and enjoy the views.
18/08/2026: Quite difficult to access restaurant if you want to walk, but definitely worth the walk. The restaurant is incredibly nicely located a bit up the slope in a lush garden, with tables both under the open sky and under cover.
The food and service were great and the staff was easy to communicate with.
I could definitely imagine visiting the restaurant again!

03/06/2026: We were in Ischia over the June 2nd long weekend, and after several disappointing lunch and dinner experiences at other restaurants, we stumbled upon La Ruota, where we had an excellent experience: the welcome, friendliness, quality, service, and variety of dishes... what more can I say? Lunch at La Ruota was a complete surprise. We ate wonderfully and were pampered by Marcella, who delighted us.
The zucchini and mussels specialties are a must-try, a superb combination of ingredients and quality.
02/06/2026: We ate very well. The atmosphere was family-friendly, and Mrs. Marcella was very friendly!

By far the worst food we ate in Naples and Ischia.
The waiter was very inattentive. After about 10 minutes, we asked if we could order...
(This is not what you expect in Italy.) General friendliness was definitely not his strong suit.
The food was unfortunately drenched in oil, both the appetizer and especially the pasta. (See picture.) The zucchini blossom and eggplant appetizer were oily but still tasty.
I was very surprised when the DOP pizza only had buffalo mozzarella and cherry tomatoes, but no tomato sauce?! (Perhaps I misread it?? That's unusual.)
For the price, it unfortunately wasn't what we had hoped for.
