26/12/2025: Very friendly staff, located in an ancient mountain village. A splendid panoramic view. You can even see Vesuvius. The rabbit cacciatore, an Ischian specialty, is exceptional. The restaurant is frequented mainly by islanders because it is a bit out of the way. A car is required because it is very high up.

21/11/2025: Ottomano is a charming family run business with the kindest owners and servers. Not only did we try some of the best seafood we had in Ischia here, but the restaurant allowed us to stay inside with them even when they were closing, because of the rainfall that wouldn’t stop. We were unprepared and they kindly welcomed us to remain indoors as we enjoyed an espresso and cuddles from the owners dog. The mixed seafood appetizer is a must - it changed my opinion on anchovies for the better because of how fresh and lightly dressed in lemon it was. Everything is worth trying here. Thank you Ottomano!
26/10/2025: Taking the €5 taxi boat from S. Angelo to Spiaggia dei Maronti on October 6, 2025 (the day after the storm) was quite an experience for me. The sea offered otherworldly colors, and the visibility was so clear that I could recognize almost every house on the island of Capri. Things started off well for me!
I had already bookmarked the Ottomano in Hamburg. I was not disappointed: the view, the food (super fresh alici marinati to start with, gnocchi alla sorrentina for the main course), a full bread basket, a large bottle of water, coffee, excellent service, and fabulous value for money. In short: simply delicious and wonderful! Il mio nuovo luogo di felicità – grazie mille! Tornerò!

22/10/2025: Friendly and welcoming staff, prompt and satisfying service.
Excellent view (photo) and very good food.
Appetizer: two mixed seafood platters divided into four; (photo)
First course: vermicelli pasta with mussels and zucchini flowers; (photo)
Dessert: classic tiramisu accompanied by coffee.
The only flaw is that I think the price is a bit high, but nothing outrageous.

02/10/2025: This is the most delicious restaurant I've eaten at in Ischia. The grilled seafood here is top-notch. This kind of restaurant is suitable for diners with high taste requirements. Ordinary diners may not understand its cooking skills.
30/09/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant after visiting the Nitrodi springs. The owner is a professional and friendly person. We ate some truly delicious, mostly homemade dishes. The owner explained that everything we ate was from their own garden, except for the fish, of course. Surrounded by greenery, the restaurant has a covered terrace with a breathtaking view—not to be missed.

12/10/2025: You made our day with your food and wine. Those that does not like wine liked your wine.
Those that does not like tiramesu loved your tiramesu.
You almost turned our vegetarian friends, but the vegiterian food was just as great. 10/10 and amazing and kind personell. Would drive from Forio here every day for this food.

Ristorante La Rosa dei Venti

14/03/2026: We had dinner at La Rosa dei Venti restaurant in Ischia and the experience was truly excellent. Everything we ordered was top-quality, carefully prepared, and attentively served.
We started with a beef carpaccio and a beef tartare, both incredibly fresh and beautifully balanced in flavor. Then we moved on to the pizzas: a contemporary Scarpariello and a provola and pink peppercorn au poivre. Light, well-leavened dough and quality ingredients: both were truly excellent.
To continue, we chose grilled chops, a Chianina rib-eye steak, and a Gold Angus rib-eye steak, all cooked to perfection and made with top-quality meats. As a side dish, grilled vegetables and sautéed porcini mushrooms were flavorful and well-prepared.
We finished with a delicious cheesecake and paired it all with an excellent Amarone.
In short: we ate wonderfully, with excellent ingredients, meticulously prepared, and the price was absolutely fair for the quality. A place that definitely deserves 5 stars and where we will gladly return.
09/03/2026: We had dinner at La Rosa dei Venti in Ischia and were truly delighted. We tried the meat, tartare, and pizza: everything was excellent and prepared with great care, using quality ingredients and truly delicious dishes.
The pizza was exceptional, definitely among the best we've had in Ischia.
The service was excellent: the waiters were kind, smiling, and very attentive. The atmosphere was welcoming and perfect for a wonderful evening. We'll definitely be back!

Abbastanza tranquillo e pulito.
Ci sono spogliatoi e docce.
Abbiamo pranzato qui e devo dire che confermo le recensioni positive
Tutto eccellente abbiamo preso una saite’ di vongole freschissime alici fritte e un baba’ il tutto annaffiato da in buon vinello bianco.
Il personale molto attento e gentile.
Ci hanno anche offerto un buonissimo limoncello.

22/09/2024: Recientemente cené en la lace alla scarrupata y aunque el ambiente era mágico y acogedor, la comida y el servicio eran decepcionantes. Los platos eran mediocres; pedí calamares y scampi pero recibí calamares y sardinas en su lugar. Los espaguetis vongole eran conchas de lupus. Cuando pregunté por los scampi desaparecidos, la respuesta grosera del dueño fue desacertada: poner. Además, los precios del vino eran desorbitados por la calidad ofrecida. Los postres, sin embargo, fueron un punto culminante y bastante agradable. A pesar de los negativos, consideraría regresar debido al ambiente encantador del restaurante, esperando una mejor experiencia la próxima vez.

20/08/2025: Superb pizzeria. Very pleasant and attentive service. We started with an appetizer (rosticceria) made with fresh, light, and delicious ingredients. The waitress was incredibly attentive.
Then came the pizza! Unparalleled quality and more than reasonable prices.
A breathtaking view of the island.
I highly recommend it!
