19/03/2025: I came in after arguing with my boyfriend, but I was satisfied with the restaurant, so we made up naturally right away (this is all for the review)
The freshness, taste, friendliness, and price were all good
The cheap but delicious local wine was perfect.
It's not an extremely fancy or fancy taste, but it's a local restaurant with no flaws.
07/03/2025: We ate here three years ago and this time three times in the week we were in Agerola because the selection and quality of the food was and still is very good. Super delicious pizza, first-class fish, really good desserts and wines. The Grappa Barrique is also mild and inexpensive. In addition, friendly, but often (too) hectic staff. Highly recommended, typically Italian restaurant, where mostly locals come or take away pizzas.

21/03/2025: Abbiamo soggiornato in questo B&B per due notti grazie a una smart box regalataci qualche tempo fa.
La posizione è buona sia x i sentieri che x visitare la costiera.
Le camere sono ampie e pulitissime,anzi ci hanno anche risistemato la camera mentre eravamo fuori(nn ce lo aspettavamo).
Hanno anche una piscina per l'estate.
Abbiamo mangiato al ristorante due sere di seguito,la prima abbiamo assaggiato antipasti e carne,il tutto di ottima qualità!la seconda sera abbiamo preso la pizza altrettanto buona,sopratutto quella fritta!
Anche le colazioni sono buone,cornetti,yogurt,succo,latte,caffe,confetture,dolci fatti in casa...
I proprietari sono simpaticissimi e genilissimi,il tutto ha una gestione familiare ottima!lo consiglio!
21/03/2025: We stayed at this B&B for two nights thanks to a smart box given to us some time ago.
The location is good both for the trails and for visiting the coast.
The rooms are large and very clean, in fact they even tidied up our room while we were out (we didn't expect it).
They also have a swimming pool for the summer.
We ate at the restaurant two nights in a row, the first we tried appetizers and meat, all excellent quality! The second night we had pizza which was equally good, especially the fried one!
The breakfasts are also excellent, croissants, yogurt, juice, milk, coffee, jams, homemade desserts...
The owners are very nice and kind, everything has an excellent family management! I would recommend it!

04/03/2025: We were delighted with the service and attention at the B&B Gilda Inn and the Ristorante da Nicola. The family and authentic Italian atmosphere made us feel at home. The food and accommodation were exceptional, we definitely plan to return and have already recommended this place to our friends. Grazie mille for a wonderful experience!

03/02/2025: Sono ritornata in questo ristorante dopo anni e devo dire che come sempre sono rimasta esterrefatta della qualità dei prodotti, ma soprattutto della cortesia e gentilezza del personale. Prezzi onesti. Location suggestiva, poiché c'è la possibilità di fare una passeggiata e godere del paesaggio a strapiombo sul mare. Ci ritornerò sicuramente.
08/11/2024: Serata stupenda, con persone stupende!!Silvio, il proprietario è una persona davvero ma davvero di cuore!!!Ci ha accolto uno per uno nel suo locale dandoci già dal primo momento la massima ospitalità!Una volta accomodati per cena, ci ha OMAGGIATO, anche senza che noi l'avessimo ordinati, con dei suoi antipasti strepitosi, come le bruschette con la pancetta, il casatiello e altre leccornie e i vini rossi anche'essi portatici per gustarli. MAI ho potuto incontrare una persona cosi' a modo, umile e gentile, aiutato anche dal bravissimo nipotino Alberto a cui vanno i nostri saluti!!A fine cena, anche ottimi dolci caserecci tipici e il conto assolutamente basso per tutto cio' che abbiamo mangiato. I primi erano eccellenti, cosi' come la salsiccia arrosto e le patate buonissime. Che dire????SUPERLATIVO!!!!Grazie ancocra caro SILVIO per la tua GRANDISSIMA GENTILEZZA ED UMANITA'!!!!Saluti dai tuoi amici pugliesi!!!!!

15/03/2025: Just finished an 8 day stay. Staff was kind, helpful and accommodating. The rooms were affordable and so clean. Loved our view. If you want to explore the Amalfi Coast, stay here.
20/11/2024: This stay was with a group for a week. Lovely high up and away from the Amalfi crowds. Rooms are basic, quiet and comfy, food amazing and so appreciated felt like I was part of their family at dinner. Thank you. Very reliable bus service and direct point of access to hiking trails.

02/11/2024: Excellent service, probably family run. Both the first courses but especially the second courses, meat or fish, cooked perfectly. Desserts okay, limited but good choice. Probably the pizza was very good but we only had a focaccia which was excellent. The house wine not great, we expected better. Overall very good, I would definitely go back.

02/01/2025: First visit here on 2nd jan 2025 we staid in an apartment nearby. This pizzeria was the only place opened we managed to find. It’s very nice and everything we ordered was very tasty. We didn’t wait too long either. It’s very reasonable priced and it’s cheaper than many other places. Restaurant was full. Also it has a fireplace which makes it cozy. English menu is available which is a bonus.

31/10/2024: No puedo enfatizar lo gratamente sorprendido que mi marido y yo nos topamos con este delicioso, delicioso y bien equipado restaurante / bar! Caminamos desde nuestro be&be para ver la Iglesia de la calle Lázaro y paramos en casa de Madame para tomar algo después. El menú de bebidas era extenso y venía con deliciosos aperitivos. También pedimos dos tipos de bruschetta que podría haber sido una comida. Si eso no era suficiente, nuestro servidor era tan amable como ella era competente. Todo en un ambiente relajado. Resultó ser un punto culminante de nuestro viaje a la costa de Amalfi. Si estás caminando por el Sendero de los Dioses, Madame’s es un corto viaje para un placer perfecto después de la caminata!

11/01/2025: we had lunch when entering the farmhouse it gave off an air of abandonment, in the room it was possible to tidy up the tables as it was Sunday, glasses were placed in the cupboards wherever they happened to be, breakfast napkins and placemats were not tidied up, drinks fridge could not be understood at all, bottle of cocacola open, reused bottles with liquor with old labels all blackened with liquor made by them..... the food, the appetizer could also have been fine, the first courses were not a not much, let alone the second meatloaf (on a farm you eat roasted meat, I make the meatloaf at home, it wasn't even fresh, I took my portion to my dog at home and she didn't eat it either) a bit of green salad and some potatoes..... three of us only had two seconds......I wonder why you charge for three complete menus when only two were completely consumed, and the liqueur was given free
26/10/2024: Update: Thanks to the accommodation for the reply, but it wasn’t really necessary! The low score is based on:
1. No internet in the rooms. When you are on trip WI FI is ESSENTIAL! We aren’t in 1960s. 2. The place is cheating on the platform we found the accommodation at. If it wasn’t that web site we would never find this property for stay (and a lot of other tourists as well), 3. The cheating with the price. Doesn’t matter €4 or €0.40 - it’s obviously a fraud and the sign of cheap business. The place isn’t trustworthy.
4. “The host is welcoming enough” - until the guests deny the meal option. That was clear that the host has no interest anymore in being nice and smiley after we said we aren’t interested in the dinner.
5. Non-existent breakfast: cookies and coffee. Literally nothing to be called “breakfast”. We didn’t use this option either.
6. The reply of the representative. Instead of admitting their fault they prefer to shame the victim. The host intentionally overcharged us, and it’s all the other guests have to know. I hope one day the reputation of this place will become more important for them than €4. Cheap.
*stay here only if it’s no other options left and if they offer a deal around €50, the place isn’t worth €70+
The room was a bit outdated, but had everything we needed …except WI FI (room #4, no signal whatsoever). The host is welcoming enough and speaks perfect English. The accommodation is pet friendly which was the main reason why we booked the room there. The second reason was a good deal (€49/night) on Booking which turned into some shady story. The host said that they have an issue with the card payments through the third party and offered us to pay directly. So I did (using the same bank card I provided while reserving the room online). Later that day I got a notification from Booking that my reservation is canceled due to an invalid bank card. When I checked the information closely I found out that the rate €49 was including the city taxes for both of us (€4), but the host added them again to increase the price to €53. Not big difference, but as a fact.
The view from the balcony is amazing, especially at 7-8 am.
