23/12/2024: Chef Angelo and his family gave life to an extraordinary idea in the heart of the historic center of Vairano Patenora: transforming the house they were renovating for themselves into a welcoming home restaurant. The experience begins right from the booking, when Angelo guides you in choosing the menu with great attention to personal tastes, any allergies and budget. You can opt to give him carte blanche or make specific requests. We chose to rely completely on him, and the result was impeccable. Upon arrival, Angelo and his family welcome guests warmly. His wife showed us the house, renovated with taste and creativity, where each room hosts a table, creating an intimate and unique atmosphere. Particularly evocative are a room dedicated to children and, above all, a splendid terrace overlooking the Vairano Patenora castle, perfect for summer dinners. Angelo's menu is a perfect balance between local tradition and innovation. We started with a beef tartare and Annurche apples seasoned with anchovy sauce, followed by pork belly with courgettes and black rice chips. Then, an original buttoned pepper, where the classic bread cap has been transformed into a fried breadcrumb that envelops the pepper, making it a crunchy and tasty croquette. To close the appetizers, a chickpea soup with fried pork rind, perfectly vaporous thanks to the puffing. As a first course, ravioli filled with ricotta and lemon, embellished with truffles, followed by a second course of cuts made with the highest quality local beef. To conclude, a fresh and delicious mandarin panna cotta. Ultimately, a unique experience, tailor-made for guests, which mixes hospitality, culinary excellence and love for the territory. I wish Angelo and his family the best: their determination and courage to invest in the historic center of Vairano Patenora deserve admiration. I hope others look to them as an example and can start business ventures to revive our wonderful country.

11/01/2025: Ambiente accogliente, Personale cortese, un menu' molto completo I panini sono stati davvero buoni , noi abbiamo scelto Nonna Giannina e Don Vincenzo entrambi squisiti. Prezzi ragionevoli, prima di andare via abbiamo comprato anche della carne Consiglio molto questo locale.

27/01/2025: The choice to dedicate almost the entire menu to cod is original, showing its great versatility in multiple dishes! The 'Fili di ferro" are truly a specialty, you could eat a kilo of them! The second courses are also delicate. The owners and staff are very kind. The atmosphere is intimate and cozy. I hope to return!

15/01/2025: Incuriositi dalla unicita' del locale e la passione per il baccala', hanno spinto me e mia moglie a verificare di persona, (premesso che a noi NON interessa la velocita' del servizio perche' ci piace chiacchierare ed aspettare). Ordinati 2 primi, 2 secondi, 1 contorno, 1 bottiglia di birra, 1 bottiglia di acqua, 1 caffe ed una grappa. Pagato 105 euro!! Voi direte quasi nella norma! Ok, se non fosse che i primi erano buoni in qualita'(ma troppo gourmet forse meno di 70 gr di pasta), i secondi anch'essi piu' che accettabili in qualita' ma ancor peggio "imbarazzanti" nella quantita' (sembrava un assaggino). Cena ASSOLUTAMENTE NON consono ad un rapporto quantita' e prezzo! Deludente...

03/01/2025: We spent New Year's Eve in this location! What can I say…. Splendid evening, welcoming place, as only a real farmhouse can do, fireplace lit, large rooms and comfortable, wide places to dine, not to be taken for granted on December 31st. The kitchen managed to delight more than 160 people with dishes that were not at all obvious. Bottles of wine that arrived at every request. Entertainment with music and DJ set, plus for the location, with games and entertainment throughout the evening! Also worth highlighting is the entertainment for the little ones. Everything organized down to the smallest detail! The owner of the place puts passion into it and all this was reflected in the evening!

11/01/2025: Last night I had the pleasure of dining at the "A Figl do Pescator" restaurant in Grumo Nevano, and I must say that it was an extraordinary culinary experience. The owner kindly let me taste a selection of starters which were simply outstanding. The swordfish porchetta was tender and tasty, a true masterpiece of flavours. The tuna mortadella was a delight, with a unique taste that I had never tried before. Finally, the tuna and sea bass ham completed the trio of appetizers with a note of freshness and quality. Each dish was prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and you could clearly see the passion and attention to detail that the restaurant puts into the preparation of their dishes. I highly recommend "A Figl do Pescator" to anyone looking for an unforgettable gastronomic experience. I can't wait to return to try other dishes on their menu!

10/01/2025: Recommended by acquaintances we came to eat at this restaurant. With the advice of Mr. CARLO, a very kind host, we had mixed appetizers, first courses and fried food brought to us. All fresh, good and excellently cooked. I highly recommend it and if I return to Naples it will be a safe stop. Ps unfortunately you can't give 7 stars, I would have given them with my eyes closed!
