07/01/2025: If you are in Apice Vecchio to visit the Castle and the abandoned village, you can stop peacefully in this rustic-style tavern. Giulio will welcome you with a smile and accompany you on a gastronomic journey with zero centimeter products. The problem is that there is no menu, and the prices are therefore unclear. We start with a large and tasty 'appetizer', consisting of hot dishes, based on vegetables, various meats and soups, and a plate of cured meats and cheeses. Followed by a first course tasting, all enjoyed with a wine (nothing special). It's difficult to move forward with how much you eat... Bill of €30 per person, water and bitters included, but without receipt. A bit of a leap into the past, for better or for worse.
17/12/2024: Fixed menu dinner, from starter to dessert, all very good and well seasoned. I recommend it!

08/12/2024: Ci siamo capitati per sbaglio, solo perché tutti i ristoranti in zona erano pieni e questo é stato l’unico mezzo vuoto che ci ha accolti, quando sono arrivate le pietanze, pizza compresa, abbiamo capito perché aveva ancora posti liberi.
Cibo sotto la mediocrità e prezzi non rapportati, andate altrove, cambiate paese, fatevi un panino ma non fermatevi qui.

14/08/2024: It was the first time we went to visit old Apice and we wanted to stop and eat so we politely asked if there was availability... the answer was the waiter wasn't there so we had to wait a moment! Ok, precise, it was 8.15pm so dinner time but not opening time, anyway we wait with three children outside but then after 20 minutes a boy arrives and tells us that he wasn't ready yet and so it took another half hour. But I say if a restaurant has to wait for the waiter to be ready and with this even almost an hour I'm sorry but I don't wait and I certainly don't even try to ask for anything anymore. Having said that, I'm sorry that I wasn't able to evaluate anything other than the terrible service.
