06/11/2024: Personale svogliato....e ineducato volendo prendere in giro.essendo intollerante al lattosio, ho chiesto se potevo avere un piatto di spaghetti con pomodoro, l'impiegata chiede al collega: gli spaghetti hanno il lattosio? A si vero.. . allora le posso dare un risotto con gamberetti e zucchine che è molto buono! Ok ma credono che la gente è scema?.....a Napoli gli spaghetti con il lattosio!!!

07/11/2024: We stopped by Cafe Caso for some gelato and coffee. The gelato was a bit too sweet for my taste—possibly a personal preference, but worth noting. The coffee was fine, though nothing particularly memorable. Prices were on the higher side, which is expected in Capri, but it didn’t quite match the quality we hoped for.

22/10/2024: I was there last night, the staff were all very kind, the place is special... the high prices (not so exaggerated as we read in many comments) are fine, we are in a super luxury place

11/04/2025: When you have a caffè that is acidic, it comes straight from a Toraldo. Conosco bene this coffee, is my preferred item. It is possible that it is not owned by the source brand. 08/04/2025: The welcome is only superficial: there is no paper in the bathroom and they don't put it because "people steal it or block the bathroom and in any case they are not used to cleaning people's shit". There wasn't even soap in the bathroom.

24/11/2024: Old hotel run by thieves, the price advertised on Booking was 60€ per night, we decided to stop there and eat there. Being in front of the establishment we decided to go directly to them, nowhere was the price displayed and the person whom I had no reason to distrust told me that we would see later, tired from the road I did not insist. Once in the room I consulted the reviews which were therefore catastrophic.., But hey the room was clean and relatively comfortable, I still decided to take a photo of each of our bags because it was said by someone that it had been stolen.... We went to eat, only customers, no menu no price, a cold cut as a starter, three small slices of pork with fries, industrial dessert, for a meal not bad but banal, a bottle of very low-end lukewarm white wine, a sparkling water, an amaro. I ask for the bill and surprise 179 €, the room charged 84 € .... I'm on vacation, traveling around Italy, eating lunch and dinner in restaurants, sleeping in hotels every night, often in 4-star hotels, so I think I know what I'm talking about.... We paid, I didn't make a fuss, it wouldn't have been any use, but you should know that when we got back to our room, we realized that our luggage had been checked, at least for one, a strap of a bag from the lower position had been moved to the upper position. I don't think anything was stolen from us, but I wanted to say it..... What's more, at 10 p.m., the wifi stopped and therefore the movie we were watching on my tablet stopped. I put things into perspective by telling myself that it will be a lesson to me, I hope it will be the same for you who are reading this.

04/02/2025: 😢 Unfortunately, Bistrot F.lli Pansa didn’t live up to expectations. The service was extremely slow, making the experience frustrating. The pizza was disappointing—lacking flavor and not up to the standard you’d expect in Italy. The only real highlight was the beautiful view of the church, which added some charm to the setting. Other than that, there’s definitely room for improvement in both food quality and service. Wouldn’t rush back.

13/01/2025: We waited 35 minutes and the pasta was very hard, the chicken tasted like plastic. The staff is too busy talking among themselves to take care of the customers. I would never recommend sitting here. We paid a total price of 50€.

26/03/2025: Terrible pizzeria and disgusting the rude staff especially the rude owner arrogant and presumptuous he thinks he knows how to do everything but he is nobody he treats customers badly with swear words and above all also the kitchen employees for me it should close from the many negative reviews I think that a pizzeria in Somma like this for the citizens is not useful

06/01/2025: I was at the 2025 New Year's Eve dinner, an experience to forget, for the aperitif peanuts, bagged chips, dried cheese puffs and frozen zeppolini, all the rest of the dinner was cold, tasteless, skimpy portions, amateurish entertainment with deafening sound, and despite our requests to respect the stroke of midnight, everyone had to toast on their own, this contributed to making the dinner pitiful and shabby and at the modest sum of €120.00 per person. Definitely to be avoided

02/01/2025: We went for the 2025 New Year's Eve dinner and it was immediately clear that we were out of place, we were wrong and not the management. It was like speaking two different languages ​​and after a careful analysis we understood that we couldn't expect anything beyond that level. PS the best thing was the walnuts but unfortunately the nutcracker was also unsuitable.

25/02/2025: Horrible trampa turística - ¡EVITA! Acabábamos de completar la caminata Sentiero degli dei (que fue maravillosa) , queríamos celebrarlo con un par de cócteles spritz y, al ser febrero, este era el único lugar abierto. Hemos viajado bastante por Campania y la hospitalidad y la bienvenida es generalmente excelente - y luego está este lugar... 36 € por 2 spritz - no podía creer lo que estábamos viendo. Las bebidas estaban bien, pero es bastante difícil equivocarse! Sin mordiscos, sin cortesía ni bienvenida. Estábamos esperando caro, pero era una celebración y estábamos felices de pagar más, pero esto se sentía como una estafa ligeramente velada.

27/01/2025: Trattoria turistica proprio di fronte alla spiaggia di Positano. Scelto anche perché era l’unico aperto in una domenica di gennaio. Cucina semplice, servizio rapido, qualità da trattoria media, prezzi ovviamente in linea con Positano (quindi alti). Un fritto misto, 2 spaghetti a vongole, 2 calici di rose’ (arrivati al tavolo già pieni) , 107€.

11/04/2025: Shoddy hotel walked in a faucet from bidet broke causing major flooding in my room urgent care was extremely slow second of all ants INVADED my room after a trip out leaving an ant pile below my bed I had to battle with ants as they swarm I throughly attacked them with cans of lynx pineapple and grapefruits deodorant but they continued there assault on my legs. After I hard triumph over the ants and sat down on the average beds which were suitable for my needs. Dinner was served with a mysterious concoction of meat which I did enjoy eating. May not stay here again not to sure .

10/04/2025: There was tap water from dirty bottles in plastic cups and some of the cutlery was sticky. We had frozen dinners (the vegetarian option included ham) and tasteless pizza that was swimming in oil. The staff didn't know what they were serving.

28/10/2024: After a whole day at the beach, we wanted to stop by with our mother and daughter for a quick coffee - the waiter took our order, despite two occupied tables, told us to sit at the indicated table, as long as it wasn't with the best view, and then the entire time, the offended waiter commented in an ostentatiously harsh tone that we only sat down to drink... I don't recommend it.

15/10/2024: We were there in mid-October, best table really close to the sea, service fast, good and friendly. We had grilled octopus and. Grilled swordfish, both mild and well grilled, very large portion, really focused on the essentials without big side dishes and chichi. CLASS. Price of the service and availability appropriate to the location.

16/12/2024: Siamo andati in questo posto per pranzare e l'impressione avuta appena abbiamo visto il personale è stata come se avessero bisogno di fare l'alberghiero. Giravano a vuoto, molto confusi e nervosi. Abbiamo ordinato intanto degli antipasti da dividere a coppie e i primi, la proprietaria scocciata, zero sorrisi sembrava ci stesse facendo un favore a prendere l'ordine. Arrivano gli antipasti che a detta loro erano abbondanti e sufficienti per 2 persone, mentre a malapena bastavano per uno. Abbiamo dovuto chiedere 3 volte il pane, ed essendo in 7, ogni volta ci portavano dei micro panini e nemmeno per tutti. Dopo quasi 2 ore abbiamo chiesto notizie per i primi ma nessuno ci sapeva dare una risposta, la cameriera (l'unica che ci teneva) quasi si mette a piangere per la vergogna. Disorganizzazione mai vista prima d'ora, alla fine ci abbiamo rinunciato e ci siamo alzati. Al pagamento del conto hanno provato a includerci i primi mai visti. Disorganizzati ma furbetti. Quando passate davanti a questo locale, tirate dritto...c'è di meglio.

03/11/2024: Era un posto a cui eravamo affezionati, soprattutto per i pranzi primaverili nel patio, ma oggi, al ristorante giù, è stata una grande delusione. Disorganizzazione ai limiti della scortesia e lentezza esasperante. Non credo che ci torneremo per un bel po’.

17/04/2025: Possibly the most unpleasant waiters I've ever encountered in Italy. It was pouring with rain and they were ordering. People were leaving the umbrella shelter even though it was empty. What a shame.

16/04/2025: DONT EAT HERE. I would have given a negative rating for the service if I could. I ordered the pesto pasta. They kept us waiting for 30mins and then when I asked the server said it’s finished. Save your time and money and go somewhere else to eat.

28/03/2025: We saw other reviews later and were surprised. We liked everything, the pasta was delicious, the local wine too. The service was attentive, there were few people, so we were given enough time. The order was brought quickly. They don't speak English very well, but we managed to understand each other.

01/03/2025: BAD at the emergency department with reptilian hemorrhage they do a CT scan of my abdomen, the samples are taken and they put me out for an irritated colon.. the next day I get worse I go to the Cardarelli emergency room and they admit me for 6 days level 8 intestinal infarction I was dying!!! Doctor if you can call him that Nicola Quaranta!!
