27/07/2025: We went to Liv Bistrot for dinner with friends. There were five of us, and we chose an all-fish menu. The experience was simply excellent, from every perspective. Ambience: The restaurant is meticulously designed, with a welcoming, refined, yet never pretentious atmosphere. The table layout is also excellent, allowing you to enjoy the evening in peace. Service: The staff was impeccable: friendly, knowledgeable, and always available to recommend dishes and wine pairings. The service was perfectly paced, with no long waits or rushed dishes. Food: The undisputed star of the evening was the fish, incredibly fresh and enhanced by original yet respectful preparations. We started with a series of appetizers (cornflour-crusted shrimp with Tropea onion sauce, fabulous). For the first courses, Scialatiello allo scoglio and linguine with scampi: flavorful, balanced, and perfectly cooked. Wine and desserts: The selection of white wines from Campania is excellent, but we opted for an excellent Traminer, which paired perfectly with the entire menu. We finished with dessert: pistachio cheesecake and Caprese tart. Conclusion: Liv Bistrot is a must-visit for anyone who loves good seafood with a contemporary twist. Fair prices for the quality offered, and a thoroughly satisfying experience. We'll definitely be back!

25/05/2025: I'll start by saying that the structure is in a privileged position on the lake, giving us a wonderful view. Too bad for the quality of the food. To start we took the raw fish. Unfortunately they were not fresh. The first course was also disappointing. Let's say that for the costs they have they should raise the quality of the food.

04/05/2025: Posto molto bello dove mangiare gourmet in famiglia. Antipasto molto abbondante, con primo e secondo a scelta. Come dolce si poteva scegliere tra tiramisù, cheescake e la panna cotta

Il personale è stato sempre disponibile e attento alle nostre esigenze. Il cibo era delizioso, con prodotti freschi e di alta qualità. I nostri ospiti hanno apprezzato molto la festa e abbiamo ricevuto molti complimenti. Grazie mille per aver reso questo giorno speciale per noi!"

17/06/2025: I was at a communion nice restaurant, but very poor staff not very attentive in the service, they did not pay attention to providing drinks and cutlery at the right time, good food but miserable quantities, very fast service not even time to wait between one course and another, I would have expected more given the presentation of the restaurant. I do not recommend.

26/05/2025: Nice place, good but poor food. They saved on everything, the service was discreet, waiters not very attentive to everything. Dishes did not arrive directly from the kitchen but plated at the moment so much so that food fell on people. There was no attention for intolerant people as they had to wait a long time and then the wrong dishes arrived. We expected much more for what was paid for the menu. Mr. Arturo not serious about the things established, despite the various reminders he did not care. It was all rushed we had to vacate the room quickly because there was another party and we had not been told. Terrible experience. I do not recommend!!!

19/08/2025: The place was very spartan, a bit abandoned. The food was good and plentiful, but the service was sometimes friendly, sometimes less so. The price was excellent for the amount we ate. However, I would recommend more hygiene and modernity.

19/08/2025: The restaurant takes the legacy of the old Marenostrum and reimagines it with more contemporary touches, both in the food plating and the table setting. The food is very good, the prices are a bit above average due to the attention to detail and the particularly romantic location, but the portions are significantly smaller than its predecessor. But everything remains very good. The service is certainly medium-high. Parking is available.

22/06/2025: Nightmare ceremony!!! We decided to celebrate our little girl's baptism on June 1st in this place with 118 guests, and it was a tragedy! The aperitif was supposed to start at 8:30 pm and we were supposed to enter the room at 9:00 pm. Well, the guests were left without even water on a muggy night until 11:00 pm! We entered the room at 11:30 pm with waiters hanging around rather than serving at the table because (poor things) they had been there since 8 in the morning (which they told all the guests when they asked if they could bring something to the table) and they had already served other ceremonies before ours and guests who were already threatening to leave. Cold food with dressing from the fridge arrived after midnight, by the second course the room was already halved because many guests had left. The comments from the guests were "it's not a baptism, it's a kidnapping!" Or "it looks more like an 18th birthday party than a baptism". Finally, an hour-long discussion at 3 in the morning about the number of people present that the restaurant owner claimed was 10 more than we had told him even though the waiters had not had to add any more covers when they prepared the room based on the tableau provided at our expense. Moral of the story (a story in a manner of speaking...)? "Instead of 118 you pay me 116 out of 114 because even if 4 didn't show up I did the shopping." Without even receiving an apology from him or from his "director" daughter for the nightmare they made us and our guests live and for the extreme arrogance they had towards us until the last moment, we paid him the full amount (not even that cheap compared to the competition) that we had agreed upon and never again. It is unacceptable that certain people do this job like this in 2025, every family ceremony we have been to many different places but we have never even heard about the absurdities we suffered in this place. If you don't want your ceremony to be remembered for centuries as the worst ceremony in history like it happened to us, stay away from this place.

20/05/2025: Yesterday we celebrated my parents 50th anniversary and as always we were deeply impressed by both the exquisite cuisine and the impeccable service. The menu featured a variety of innovative dishes, with bold flavours and beautiful presentation. The attentive and knowledgeable staff made sure our meal was memorable, providing excellent advice and ensuring we were satisfied. I cannot recommend Romano da Carlo enough for a fantastic dining experience and hospitality.. always the TOP.

01/07/2025: I highly recommend rock shoes because of the white pebbles that cover this area. Wonderful view facing Vesuvius. Well-kept and equipped place, attentive and caring staff. All services are present such as bars, bathrooms, showers, sunbeds and umbrellas. Paid parking in front of the lido with direct access to the sea via an underpass. 6 euros until 7pm for parking. 40 euros for sunbeds and umbrella a bit expensive but at the bikini lido (just after the stone beach) they asked 70... which is really an exaggeration. We had a great time. Even with a 4 year old child. Too bad the restaurant was closed for lunch because it wasn't even reported online and it would have done its job as well as making a great impression because you eat on a terrace overlooking the sea with an incredible view while you can admire the splendid Vesuvius. Not having taken lunch it was convenient, but luckily the bar sells some first and second courses. We found some plastic in the water and some foam but not in the beach, on the rocks under the restaurant.

01/08/2025: Leaving aside the fact that the sandwich costs €9.00 and it's not even worth it for the ingredients they use, which are not good products, frozen burgers rather than pre-made ones, not to mention the disgusting sandwich from the previous days which you can tell is very dry. Well, terrible experience, I'm sorry, I'm disappointed.

15/06/2025: I was there today for my daughter's baptism. I must say that when I was there a few months ago for the estimate, I was welcomed by very friendly people. I spoke with Emanuel, and you can see that he does it with passion and a lot of sacrifice. He was very transparent from the beginning, also giving me advice that later turned out to be right. Today was a beautiful day, excellent food, professional and very polite staff, he was always very helpful and very attentive to the needs of everyone in the room. Everything was beautiful and then for the quality/price ratio I think there are very few around

28/05/2025: Villa Agostina is a place where you can spend a nice day with your family, the food is good, the rooms are welcoming and clean and there is a beautiful view! The staff is very attentive and helpful... Emanuele is always smiling and ready to please, a young man who is putting a lot of effort into managing the family business... I recommend Villa Agostina with great pleasure... the only thing to improve is the attention to detail and the pool is a little cleaner!

15/05/2025: Mangiare da guerra. Peli nei piatti ,caro come i grandi ristoranti di Napoli, perfetta se non addirittura fantastica la scostumatezza. Conto come la loro scostumatezza. P.s. specialità della casa pelo di f..a, o pelo di c...o, ovvero pelo di capello.

04/05/2025: Trattoria un po’ fuorimano dal solito circuito, ma consigliataci per mangiare la vera cucina napoletana e devo dire che le nostre aspettative sono state esaudite. Ha una terrazza spettacolare sopra Napoli e ha il l’antipasto abbondante, classico napoletano Se vi avanza ancora un pochino di spazio, vi consiglio pasta, patate e provola che loro cavallo di battaglia consigliato e soprattutto non è una trappola per turisti .

03/08/2025: We had dinner on a Saturday in August, and I immediately changed my mind about all the reviews. Parking is very easy to find, with a very friendly valet, prices are average, but with a spectacular view, service managed by very young people, but they managed to be efficient despite the full room, we will definitely be back.

06/06/2025: Prices are definitely high for the average in the area, €10 for a small sandwich with tomato and mozzarella and a drink is too much.

27/05/2025: In one word: great. We ate thickly filled sandwiches (panini) with crudo, mozzarella and tomatoes. We could put together the filling ourselves. We were helped quickly and very friendly. The sandwiches were delicious and the price was relatively low. I think I have found my favorite sandwich shop in Naples!

04/06/2025: A SHAME! Three tiny and very salty seafood cuoppi, two slightly less small but equally salty land cuoppi, a small and rubbery pizza, two liters of draft beer and two 500 ml bottles of water each: €90!!! In Naples we ate in many places, always very well and for almost the same amount of money. We were so proud to show Naples in all its beauty to two couples of friends who were coming from other parts of Italy but this place made us ashamed. TO BE AVOIDED ABSOLUTELY
