04/11/2025: We stayed 2 nights and 3 days at this magnificent farmhouse. It's simply fantastic, surrounded by nature, and is the ideal place for those who want to unwind. The food is fantastic, from breakfast to dinner. The owners, Gemma and Francesco, are incredibly kind. We'll definitely be back in the spring.
21/10/2025: The friendly welcome you receive at Gemma del Parco immediately puts you at ease, making you feel at home, surrounded by attentive and caring staff. The location is enchanting, just a few kilometers from the Tyrrhenian Sea and seaside resorts such as Diamante, Cirella, Scalea, and San Nicola Arcella. Meeting and spending time with her was a wonderful experience.

Everyone there is friendly and remember you when you go back.

16/10/2025: We stayed at Agriturismo La Palombara, a wonderful place completely surrounded by greenery for those seeking relaxation and the perfect place! The location is excellent for reaching Cascia, Assisi, Norcia, and more. Emanuele and Sara are two excellent hosts, always ready to pamper you and fulfill our every request. The breakfast was excellent, with homemade cakes prepared by the sweet Sara! What can I say? We had a wonderful time and will be back soon! ❤️

17/01/2026: Lunch with friends, everything was very good. Tasty and beautifully presented dishes, friendly service. Pleasant experience.
18/11/2025: Located on one of Paola's main streets, it offers outdoor dining, and is very quiet in the evening.
The owner is a very friendly and helpful person; he takes care of selecting the ingredients, which are truly top-notch. The sandwiches are truly delicious! 💯

29/09/2025: A truly special evening. The place is a little gem: dim lighting, soft music, and an energy that makes you feel instantly at home. I asked them to lower the speaker above me slightly, and they were kind enough to do so immediately, with a smile.
We ate divinely, and, something rare, we left feeling pampered and nourished not only in our stomachs but also in our souls.
And all this at a price you won't find elsewhere, even for much less refined dinners.
A place that stays in your heart, worth trying again and again. ✨

15/02/2026: The food was really good, the only shame was the service.
The owner and staff were quite rude and disrespectful. We tried asking for clarification on the menu several times, and they always interrupted us, talking over us, never looking us in the eye. Okay, let's order. My dish arrived 30 minutes before my companion's. I stayed there waiting, and while the dish cooled, I looked for a waiter to ask why, but nothing.
Okay, then it was time to pay. The owner, without the slightest interest in the table and without interaction, told us the price, I paid, and we left.

Everything was excellent, from the location, to the service, to the bathrooms (spotlessly clean), to the food, which was truly exquisite!
The traditional flavors, almost all locally sourced, enhanced by superb cuisine.
18/09/2025: The "U Principe" risotto is delicious, prepared with fresh, quality ingredients, and the homemade desserts are a true delight.
Such kindness and professionalism.

05/10/2025: Atmosphere is nice. We ordered the starter (cheese with mushrooms), primo plate (risotto with Gorgonzola) and side dish (aubergine balls on a stick). We asked to eat this all together at the same time. We got our food in this order , aubergine first, waited 10 minutes got the risotto and 15 minutes later the cheese. The aubergine balls and the cheese with mushrooms were nice, the risotto was way too salty and not cooked properly.
03/10/2025: We were looking for a warm place on a cold evening. Our train was canceled after a very long journey, and we were sad. The atmosphere of this place, the service, and the food completely changed our mood! I wish we could have stayed longer 😊 We'll definitely be back!

26/08/2025: An experience so surreal it seemed like a comedy sketch... if it hadn't been real. We were kicked out of the tavern for no clear reason, with anything but courteous manners. The welcome? Nonexistent. The politeness? Lost among the daily specials.
In an era when restaurants should focus entirely on hospitality and quality service, here they have confidently chosen the opposite path.
If you're looking for good food accompanied by a human and civilized atmosphere, look elsewhere. Here, they serve (perhaps) warm dishes, but decidedly cold hearts.
09/08/2025: Dishes are prepared based on market-sourced fish. Some dishes can be customized. Meatballs, fried anchovies, and mussels are highly recommended.

21/07/2025: Excelente Restaurante! Foi uma experiência incrível! Viemos visitar a comune de nascimento de nosso Bisavô e este restaurante foi incrível
28/06/2025: Cercavamo un posto dove cenare presto (verso le 18 : 00 ) , ma la maggior parte dei ristoranti apriva dopo le 20 : 30 . Eravamo en 9 a trovare Paola, affamati dopo una lunga giornata di viaggio. I padroni di casa, Luigino e Maria Rosario, sono stati gentilissimi: ci hanno preparato un tavolo per tutti e insieme ci hanno sfamato per più di tre ore. Il cibo era delizioso, anche per gli standard italiani, e includeva insalate, mozzarella locale, melanzane, pasta, e persino due orate al forno. Difficile immaginare un'esperienza culinaria calabrese migliore e più autentica. Non perdetevi questo posto.
Estábamos buscando un lugar para cenar temprano (alrededor de las 6 pm) , pero la mayoría de los lugares comenzaron a servir después de las 830 . Éramos 9 de nosotros visitando Paola, con hambre después de un largo día de viaje. Los anfitriones Luigino y María Rosario fueron tan amables - - él puso una mesa para todos nosotros y juntos nos dieron de comer durante más de tres horas. La comida era deliciosa, incluso para los estándares italianos, e incluía ensaladas, Mozzarella local, berenjenas, pastas, e incluso dos besugos asados. Es difícil imaginar una experiencia gastronómica calabresa mejor y más auténtica. No te pierdas este lugar, y no te olvides de la aplicación Google Translate en tu teléfono. Una vez que llegas tan al sur en Italia (y deberías) , hay muy poco inglés hablado.

04/07/2025: Este fue un gran lugar para una cena informal en una noche cálida. Las pizzas y las ensaladas eran geniales, al igual que los antipasti. Estaba buscando una pizza específica que no estaba en el menú y me la hicieron al momento.
