17/01/2026: Excellent experience! We started dinner with homemade potato chips: thin, crispy, and incredibly tasty. Definitely artisanal, not the usual frozen ones. The pizza was the highlight, with a light and digestible dough, perfectly cooked, and quality ingredients. The staff was kind, helpful, and very welcoming, making us feel immediately at ease. The restaurant has a somewhat classic style, but is very clean and well-kept. The fireplace creates the perfect atmosphere. Highly recommended: quality, flavor, and courtesy in a unique experience!

13/01/2026: Food was really good! Once they took our oder, food arrived very fast, but no one came back to our table to clear or to ask if we wanted anything else. For their defence we had no reservation and it was very busy. We appreciated the fact that they took us anyway without reservation. I recommend the place very good food. Reservation is a must.

22/08/2025: I went back to Calabria for the holidays and never would I have ever thought to find such a cosy and good restaurant!! The ambiance is an italian’s old traditional tavern, which I immediately loved, but revisited to the modern days (for example, they made a beautiful terrace outside to eat and enjoy the hot summer temperatures). The food is really good, and the quantities of the plates are very very copious! I loved the Antipasto, rich of food from the area, like “Anduja”, and delicious chickpeas, beans and parmigiano di melanzana! But what’s more delightful are the Arancini! I asked and they told me they are homemade. I regret not asking for the recipe ahahah My friend took a Panino Inferno and it was huge! He couldn’t finish it, so everyone took a piece and tried it: it’s a 10 out of 10. The bread is made in the pizza’s oven, and the ingredients mix so well together. I don’t really like spicy things but Anduja made me change completely idea. It was the first time trying it and I loved the taste. The service was fast and super excellent. Chef Laura tried all the way to communicate with me even though I only spoke english, and this was very kind of her. Unfortunately I didn’t take any picture because we were too amazed.. but next time we will, for sure! I would highly recommend this restaurant, for foreigners and for locals too. Don’t forget to support small activities like this, and don’t underestimate them, because they will surprise you, just like La Taverna dei 7 Peccato did to me. 01/02/2026: We were there in September 2025 and I just found myself thinking about it again tonight. The service was lovely, the wine was excellent, and the view was unforgettable. Such a great spot for a date — beautiful atmosphere and an all-around wonderful experience.

06/01/2026: Good experience. When I was there (December 25th), they had the option of a full menu at a reasonable price (just over €30). I recommend booking a table with a view!

05/09/2025: A quiet, family-run place. Fresh fish, beautifully cooked. If I return to Diamante, I won't hesitate to return.

28/08/2025: Restaurant across from the Diamante train station. Colori, the waiter, was very helpful and friendly. Slow service, an hour between the appetizer and the main course, although we enjoyed the fresh fish when they arrived. Price is a bit high for being right across from the train station - five courses €130 (appetizer, two main courses, fried fish, wine, and water).

23/08/2025: We had dinner here with a group of friends after rafting. The atmosphere is very relaxing, you feel right at home, thanks in part to the warm welcome from the owners. They were incredibly kind and hospitable, and we felt truly at ease. The pizzas were delicious. We hope to return soon!

20/08/2025: We stumbled upon this family-run restaurant. There were eight of us, including four children. We sat outside and were greeted with excellent house bruschetta. The menu features very few typical local dishes, all truly delicious! We met wonderful people, who were very attentive to service. We had such a great time, so much so that we returned the next evening.

13/02/2026: Everything was fantastic...from the appetizer to the sorbet...everything was tasty...fresh...the staff were kind and polite...from our table we could see the sea and it felt like we were on a ship...I recommend it to everyone...

14/02/2026: We enjoyed the Valentine's Day menu. It included a mixed appetizer platter, a plate with two different pasta dishes—one with artichoke sauce and one with mushroom sauce. The main course was roast pork with vegetable gravy and roast potatoes. For dessert, we had tiramisu. Wine, water, and espresso were included. We were pleasantly surprised and found it very delicious.

01/03/2026: Wonderful restaurant. Attentive service without being intrusive. If you want to experience and taste Italy, this is the place for you. We are a retired couple on a five-month tour of Italy, and this is one of the best restaurants we've eaten at so far. Many thanks ♥️ to the family and team at Pizzeria "da Mario".

03/11/2025: We enjoyed an excellent pizza, both the dough and the toppings were delicious! Recommended. We paid €36 per person, but we also ordered the famous Pizzo Tartufo.

17/09/2025: For several years, during our stay in Camigliatello, we've been going to Scrivano to stock up on yogurt and dairy products to take home. This year, unusually, for dietary reasons, we (four of us) simply wanted to sit in the picnic area and enjoy some fruit we had on hand instead of their usual mixed platters. We then ordered some of their ice creams and, later, equipped with coolers, purchased the usual take-away items. As we were going to sit down (there was also a disabled person with us), the owner abruptly addressed us, saying, "This is not a picnic area." Faced with such rudeness, we explained that we were regular customers who, as usual, were there to buy their products. We got back in the car and, certainly, we will never return, nor will we tell this unpleasant experience to friends and acquaintances. Kindness, and above all, good manners, are not optional!

14/09/2025: The ice cream is definitely good, but I think the cashier can't afford to make a mistake and charge €20 less, and then, with a hint of presumption, not even apologize.

08/02/2026: It was my first time eating pizza there, and I have to say it was truly delicious. We went with a friend and my brother and spent a relaxing evening enjoying delicious pizza and a delicious dessert. Kudos also to the friendly and helpful staff, something you shouldn't take for granted.

27/01/2026: Terrible experience. After being seated, we waited a long time without receiving any attention: not even a bottle of water. Meanwhile, tables that had arrived clearly after us had ordered and were already eating. We tried to get the staff's attention, but to no avail or explanation. In the end, we left without eating. Totally disorganized service with little respect for the customer. We won't be returning.
