28/05/2025: We celebrated our wedding in this extraordinary location a few days ago after choosing Sala Ermica for its strategic position along the Basento valley and the positive opinions collected from other spouses and we couldn't have made a better choice: from the large room equipped with every comfort, to the garden with olive trees in bloom, to the covered winter garden, every corner contributed to enriching and making the day unique. Not to mention the excellent quality of the lunch we enjoyed together with our guests. A sincere thank you goes to Anna, the owner who supported us and put up with us in all our requests, even the most meticulous; to the maître d' Walter who pampered us throughout the event, to Vincenzo at the reception, to the chef Rocco Morgese and to all the staff. 26/05/2025: Celebrating your first communion at the Ermica reception hall means making it part of your most beautiful memories. Anna pays attention to every detail and everything becomes a spectacle for the eyes and the palate. Hers is a complete package that goes from an excellent set-up to the cake table to the entertainment that makes the day unforgettable so the customer does not have to worry about anything else! The food is excellent and the waiting staff meets every need with courtesy and maximum professionalism. Really well done, compliments!

31/03/2025: HORRIBLE. Breakfast in the bar coffee...burnt at 7.00? Check the machine! Lactose-free cappuccino with milk strictly boiled in the pan where normal milk was made. Croissant served to me boiling hot so I had to take it away because at the first bite it was burning hot and was a raw/sticky mass, so I asked for a little bag and annoyed she handed it to me rudely. To pay? The cashier had to first chat with the back kitchen telling me it's urgent, I'm coming!? But is everything ok? Not at Materana. All this for €5

21/04/2025: Mainly a pizzeria (also takeaway), but also a restaurant. Recommended are the orecchiette, for example with bran! Nice and kind waitress. Having the TV on during the meal isn't my thing, but it's a matter of habit.

14/04/2025: Torniamo di frequente in questo ristorante partendo appositamente da Potenza. Ultima vista il 14 aprile. La qualità degli alimenti è sempre all'altezza delle aspettative. Lo chef tratta con sapienza le ricette della tradizione locale. Il locale è accogliente e ben posizionato in un un ambiente verde ben curato. Una particolare menzione merita il servizio curato dal sig. Rocco che si connota per garbo e signorile professionalità. Numerosi gli ospiti abitue' (garanzia di soddisfazione).

13/04/2025: Siamo capitati per caso durante un giro on the road. Ottima cucina. Fusilli, ravioli con funghi porcini, filetto al vino: una delizia, e chiaramente, quello non manca mai , agnello alla satrianese, il tutto sotto la supervisione del simpaticissimo Rocco.

When you bring dishes with few ingredients to the table you take risks but here the chef knows what he's doing; starting with the marinated salmon (fresh, not from the bag), continuing with the Genoese cod (fantastic quality, tenacious and tasty fish) up to the dessert, as simple as it is tasty. Young staff in the dining room, trained and polite. Congratulations on your Business!

02/05/2025: I went yesterday, on the occasion of May 1st, after a thousand phone calls and searches for places and restaurants, we found this magnificent place, a place surrounded by nature, an atmosphere like when I was little, it seemed like I was reliving old memories when we all went to the countryside together as a family, the outside was all well cared for, flowers and furnishings from times gone by, scattered everywhere as ornaments, inside, there are four beautiful rustic rooms, as soon as you arrive, outside there is a cart preparing aperitifs, beautiful, under the trees, there are tables to sit and chat, there are also games for children, then we ate without waiting, incredible but true, there were 170 of us, the food was genuine, flavors of the past, very good appetizers, excellent first courses, and the roast meat arrived at the table served with the swords in which it was roasted, too strong, then the salad, the dessert, the coffee, the liqueurs made by them, I would like to thank Grace, the owner who did everything to find a table for me and my friends, I thank all the waiters, well done, polite and very fast, especially Elisa, a very sweet girl, and Antonio, who brought us the hot meat, they pampered us, we felt at home, and after all this, we finished our experience, enjoying the sound of the wind, sitting under the tree, tasting a nice glass of liqueur 🍓, we will return as soon as possible, congratulations 👏, thank you for everything, I forgot, everything was clean, especially the bathrooms.... 21/09/2024: A real terrace overlooking a beautiful panorama despite the buildings... The Torre di Satriano and the Pietra di Vietri will be the backdrop for excellent aperitifs. Definitely a pleasant place to spend time in the company of friends and relatives. We celebrated an anniversary in the enclosed glass room, with great food. Nothing has changed, not even the extreme kindness of the owners
