27/08/2025: Everything was excellent, from the house wine to the first courses and desserts. We had homemade fettuccine with porcini mushrooms and truffle, and asparagus and guanciale. Super generous portions. The kindness of the staff and Emiliano's cheerfulness make you feel at ease. Thank you 🤩 for the souvenir. PS: We would have happily stayed on the deckchairs 🤣 after lunch, but it seemed too much.

02/09/2025: What a great place to dine. We ate with friend recently in the small, almost private, room. Amazing produce that created superb pasta and meat dishes. Loved it. And great montepulciano too. We got a lovely warm welcome (prob due to having Tim and Philly with us)! Go there!

Food to forget
We ask for a Cerasuolo and are persuaded to order it from the Damiani winery. It's served already opened on ice without being poured. After tasting, intrigued by the tart flavor, we discover it's a Rosé.
We order gnocchi with saffron, shallots, and pancetta. They serve us rubbery, sticky, colorless gnocchi, completely dry with a bit of burnt pancetta.
I ask for grated cheese and we're served industrial-strength packets of Grana Padano.
I ask for an apple tart. The dish is definitely better, but it's incomplete. It should be served with a cream to make it softer.
In short, an evening to forget.

23/02/2025: It's a very welcoming refuge where you can have breakfast, a snack, or lunch. After skiing, I stopped for a break and had a fruit tart with cream. It was delicious, made with fresh, authentic ingredients!
The atmosphere is pleasant, perfect for relaxing and recharging your batteries. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you're in the area, I recommend stopping by.

22/08/2025: We came out of curiosity, and since there was no table at the restaurant, we decided to stop for some street food at the outside table. The choice was terrible. The welcome was nonexistent, the service was poor, and the dishes were of poor quality and refinement. We chose: a mixed raw fish platter with two shrimp, two slices of tuna, and a mini salmon tartare; a marinated white cod that was floating in the sauce and tasted only of spices and chili pepper; and stuffed calamari whose flavor was indecipherable. The only dish I'd give a passing grade were the stuffed mussels "drowned" in a rather delicious tomato sauce.
Poor value for money. We won't be returning.
22/08/2025: Unfortunately, we asked several times if the air conditioning could be turned down (it was 25 degrees outside and probably much cooler inside).
The cashier was wearing a vest to protect her from the cold.
A little more attention to these things would make the dinner more enjoyable.
The food was good.
The service was passable.

25/08/2025: Excessively priced. Really meager grilled food with a piece of cheese (which isn't grilled), 1 sausage, 1 small piece of loin, and 1 very thin and fatty lamb chop...nothing special. I wouldn't go back, especially at that price...
18/08/2025: Friendly staff. Welcoming place. We had the Abbruzzese appetizer but it didn't seem like it, the portions were really small. We also had the meat but it was overcooked and tough, the price was too high for the quality of the food.

13/02/2025: Frequento questo posto da 30 anni e fortunatamente non ha deluso i miei ricordi, anzi. La recente ristrutturazione gli ha dato pregio, sembra di stare in un'elegante baita tirolese! Ottimi la polenta con salsicce e spuntature, i ravioli ricotta e spinaci e gli gnocchetti al ragù, buoni e ben cotti gli arrosticini. Prezzi onesti e servizio veloce e cortese. Una garanzia.
24/01/2025: Locale piccola ma grazioso, menu tipico, semplice e variegato: selvaggina ottima così come i formaggi e le loro salsine di accompagnamento; i primi non da meno, super abbondanti e conditi. Nota ancor più positiva e l’ottima musica di sottofondo. Unica pecca consiglierei ai camerieri di fare un sorriso in più, che è il miglior condimento!

29/08/2025: We came to this restaurant during our vacation based on my wife's memories of coming here with her parents. Considering it's been open for so many years, I believe and hope my negative experience today is just a coincidence. The service is slow and cumbersome; customers are practically left alone, and the wait for anything is incredibly long. The staff was visibly struggling. We ordered an Italian-style appetizer, which was average. We had also asked for arrosticini as an appetizer, but after a while, they informed us they were having problems with the heat due to the heavy rain. So, we waited for the entrees... unfortunately, it was a total disaster. The gnocchi had the consistency of mashed potatoes, and the lamb sauce was completely tasteless. It's a shame, because given the appearance of the restaurant, it was the dish we had the most expectations for. Before we could point this out to the staff, a woman at the table next to us did. She was told that gnocchi don't turn out well with new potatoes. It would have been enough to remove that dish from today's menu to at least cover the first course. We're not the type to send dishes back. We then received the arrosticini, which were good in quality but a little overcooked. After a good two hours at the table, we preferred to pay the bill when we saw the waiter at the register, so as to avoid having to wait any longer to order two coffees.

06/07/2025: Ci troviamo per caso domenica 6 luglio 2025: il ristorante è abbastanza pieno, una ragazza e un signore si aggirano tra i tavoli, ma l’attesa è abbastanza lunga. Ordiniamo un tagliere di selvaggina e uno di carpaccio, poi dei maltagliati con ragù e zucchine e zafferano e due contorni, cicoria e verdura grigliata.
Il tagliere era davvero imbarazzante (aveva un accenno di tartufo sulla mortadella - di maiale- che sapeva di nulla. Il resto con salame e n.1 mini salsiccetta di cinghiale (?) con qualche fetta di qualcosa affumicato. Il primo ancor più’ imbarazzante, i maltagliati salatissimi con un ragù bianco e di zucchine forse l’idea, mette lo zafferano rimasto nelle parole della cameriera…tra l’altro cotti molto male. Finiamo con la cicoria che dava sull’acido. Il Tutto ben pagato. La domenica è la vostra vetrina, cari ristoratori, non accampate scuse che ci sono troppi clienti! Essere bravi il martedì è facile… cambiate mestiere altrimenti.
22/03/2025: Locale disposto su più piani collegati da una bella scala interna. Tavoli e arredamenti essenziali, puliti, moderni.

16/03/2025: Pranzo eccellente, per un ristorante che a distanza di anni si conferma una garanzia. Abbiamo provato più antipasti, con le bruschette miste esorbitanti nella quantità e nel gusto, a cui abbiamo unito anche un ottimo primosale sulla brace al centerbe. Tra i secondi prelibata la scamorza con guanciale e tartufo, ma in generale chiunque vorrà gustare affettati e formaggi non rimarrà deluso.
