15/10/2025: A set menu with an entrée, cold antipasto, warm antipasto, first course, second course, desserts, coffee, water, and wine pairing for €70. So, basically the complete package. Absolutely top-notch quality in terms of freshness and presentation. We were completely full and enjoyed the ambiance and very friendly service.

Casale San Giovanni is a true oasis of tranquility surrounded by greenery, just steps from the splendid Costa dei Trabocchi. The property is enchanting, meticulously maintained, and surrounded by a landscape that invites relaxation.
The rooms are spacious, clean, and tastefully furnished, perfect for those seeking comfort and authenticity. The welcome is warm and genuine: you immediately feel at home, thanks to the kindness and helpfulness of the owners.
Breakfast is a special moment, with fresh, local products that reflect the region. The farmhouse is also the ideal starting point for exploring Fossacesia, the Abbey of San Giovanni in Venere, and all the beauty of Abruzzo.
A memorable stay. Highly recommended for those who love nature, tranquility, and true hospitality.
22/06/2025: The owners were very kind both in communication and in preparing a savory breakfast (upon our request!), in addition to the truly excellent homemade desserts served in the porch surrounded by the greenery of the garden.
The room was very clean equipped with every comfort (air conditioning, WiFi, mosquito nets..).
The structure is very close to the Abbey and the Teatro degli Ulivi, reachable in a few minutes on foot. Recommended!

Delicious dishes prepared in a clean, modern setting with a beautiful, green, shaded garden and children's playground.
Convenient parking and fair prices.

26/08/2025: 1 mixed fish gratin, 1 grilled lamb, 1 seafood chitarrina, 10 arrosticini, 1 0.75 lt water, 1 house rosé wine, 2 gentian liqueurs, 1 coffee, 2 covers. €55.50. Honorable mention goes to the waitress who single-handedly served everything in excellent time. Generous portions; if I were in the area again, I would gladly return. Excellent value.

28/07/2025: Bruschette, pizza fritta, arrosticini: cena tradizionale in questo locale all’aperto caratterizzato da servizi o impersonale ma veloce, porzioni adeguate e prezzo contenuto.
21/07/2025: Il cibo è molto buono, nulla da dire. Ma l'atmosfera negli ultimi anni è peggiorata. Sembra una fabbrica, i camerieri che corrono e a malapena ti guardano se li chiami. Si può prenotare solo alle 1930 o alle 2200 perché altrimenti "non girano i tavoli" (parole loro). Ci sono andata di persona intorno alle 2030, mezzo locale era vuoto ma mi hanno detto comunque che potevo cenare alle 22, forse perché avevamo 3 bambini che avrebbero consumato poco. Ripeto cibo ottimo.

09/08/2023: Premessa: coppia di ragazzi di 22 e 19 anni
Aspettative alte per chi si sarebbe voluta godere un mercoledì sera sul mare. All'entrata ci fermano i tre bodyguard chiedendoci se fossimo maggiorenni. Al nostro sí e alla nostra disponibilità al mostrare le carte di identitá si sono mostrati abbastanza diffidenti. Dopodiché ci hanno chiesto l'età, e al mio "19 anni" hanno subito detto di no con motivazioni superficiali dette balbuziosamente a cui manco loro credevano. Tra 19, se vogliamo essere precisi 19 e mezzo, e 20 la differenza è impercettibile. Consiglio: la prossima volta evitate di chiedere se si è maggiorenni se intendete aver raggiunto i 20 anni di età.

26/08/2024: Locale strategico posizionato lungomare con la possibilità di gustare gelati o prodotti/bevande da bar, sia dentro che fuori in veranda. Gelato molto buono! Varietà di gusti limitata.
Prezzi nella media. Spiacevole episodio riguardante la fruizione del bagno in quanto non è utilizzabile per mancanza di acqua; risolvete!
25/08/2024: Posto assolutamente fantastico che consiglio a chiunque. Il gelato artigianale Era veramente eccezionale mai mangiato un gelato così buono. Il proprietario una persona eccellente molto educata e ben distinto ha fatto sentire a proprio tutta la mia famiglia. Il personale molto qualificato è ben disponibile
