02/07/2025: I recently had the pleasure of dining at Taj Mahal, and it was truly a delightful experience. I tried their Chicken Biryani and Chanay Kofta with Malai boti tika and both dishes were absolutely outstanding. The flavors were rich and authentic, capturing the true essence of traditional cuisine. Each dish was perfectly cooked, with just the right balance of spices and tenderness.
The ambiance was welcoming, and the service was excellent. A special mention to Mr. Nadeem, the owner, whose warm hospitality and passion for quality food truly stood out. It's clear he takes great pride in ensuring every customer leaves satisfied.
If you're looking for a place that serves genuine, flavorful traditional food, I highly recommend Taj Meal. It's a hidden gem that deserves all the praise.

04/09/2025: The food was very good; the dishes that stood out to us were a spinach dahl and the legume meatballs, both very tasty.
The atmosphere was quiet, the service wasn't the fastest, but the flavor was worth the wait.
We took advantage of the summer discounts; otherwise, it would have been decidedly too expensive. With the 50% off menu, however, the price is more than fair.
02/09/2025: Highly recommended place. The food is carefully prepared and very tasty. It has the perfect level of spiciness for those who don't like spicy food. I highly recommend the chicken platter for two. We'll be back!

We spent little and ate a lot and well!
26/07/2025: Tried Indian cuisine for the first time, very good. The service was quick and friendly. Prices were high for the quantity; I took advantage of a TheFork offer, otherwise the bill would have been very high. The atmosphere wasn't the best, as the place was poorly maintained and didn't convey a sense of cleanliness; it definitely needs improvement.

24/08/2025: Very good, friendly and courteous staff. The most iconic Indian dishes (chicken biryani) are available even if they're not on the menu; just ask the staff. Very fast, highly recommended.

28/08/2025: I used to go there at least once a week, whether it was kebabs or pakoras or the student menus. 10/10, friendly and good food. I miss it every day
28/07/2025: Right in the middle of Bologna Centro, hard to find by car but easily accessible by food. We searched for HALAL food and found this little shop. Greeted well as soon as we walked in, Very good people, nice, fresh & delicious food. We enjoyed their lamb curry, chana masala and their kebab wraps. We also had Mozzarella sticks and chicken strips. We enjoyed overall. If we are in Bologna again we will visit them for sure.

24/07/2025: The food was not good and not providing Indian real taste.Cheating Italian people in the taste of Indian food. The price is also expensive and not for Italian people. The waiters are unprofessional behaves like they are the working in some big IT companies. Beware of such people who are spoiling Indian dish and the taste of culture and also disrespects. I don’t suggest any Italian to go to this RESTURANT as it’s not real Indian food.

I think they reduced the use of strong spices to adapt to us.
They also have a children's menu and are not too expensive.
09/07/2025: I'm sorry, but I wasn't at all satisfied. The portions were really tiny and not in line with the price (for my standards).
We asked for two main courses each and a vegetable main course to share.
These vegetables were supposed to be grilled... well, there wasn't much grilled at all; I'm a raw person, and they tasted like nothing.
Plus, most of the vegetables were pineapple chunks... Is pineapple a vegetable? And what does that have to do with grilled vegetables? Plus, if I were a vegetarian and wanted this main course, I would have starved and probably wouldn't have eaten it all.
In fact, despite being so hungry, we didn't even finish it; we didn't like it.
The atmosphere could have been better, too; we felt unwelcome and a bit "thrown out" even though there was a couple next to us who had arrived late and still had full plates in front of them.
Given the positive reviews, I expected more. The meat was good, but the portions were too small (and the rice wasn't right).

14/02/2025: Pizza con pasta cruda, indigesta, immangiabile. Secca come un frisbee. Carciofini pieni di bave è scarsissima qualità. Il prosciutto cotto penso il peggiore che si possa trovare in Italia. Igiene da rivedere. Vergognatevi.
