15/10/2025: We ordered curry rice without chicken and masala with shrimp. The rice and side dish were delicious. The shrimp were not that great, but finally, the rice was delicious, just like in Saudi Arabia. The best restaurant in Riva del Garde. The rest, thank God for the blessing. Whoever wants rice and side dish, the chicken and meat will be brought to them. It is finished and not halal.

27/09/2025: I wanted to try this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend. A very rustic yet family-friendly place, run by a kind and helpful family. Competitive prices. I tried the chicken biryani (spicy) and found it very good, as well as the garlic naan (garlic bread). The dishes are generous. I'll be back to try other delicacies 😋

But it's definitely worth taking a step further and looking beyond that first impression, because behind it lies a little treasure. Flavorful dishes, friendly service, and fair prices.

19/09/2025: First of all the food is VERY delicious. But I like these little Indian restaurants because usually the pricing and the portions are aligned. Well what you see on the photo was 20euro, one naan is 2,5 euro which is crazy I think comparing to other Indian restaurants, and also the very very small portion chicken and rice was ridiculous. But to be honest it was really delicious so for food is 5 stars, but the rest... Even the man was not that nice after we asked for more naan, because for real... 5 euros for two peaces? Can't be real. We paid and left hungry.

19/05/2025: Ci sono pranzi che non si dimenticano, e poi c’è La Dosana, un angolo sospeso tra mare e cielo sulla diga di Sottomarina. Seduti su una palafitta che profuma di legno e salsedine, abbiamo assaporato la tradizione: sardine in saor che raccontano storie di pescatori, spaghetti alla busara che sanno di casa, e una grigliata di pesce che sa di festa. Il locale è piccolo, raccolto come una poesia scritta a mano. Il personale è gentile, sorridente, e ti fa sentire parte di una famiglia che ama il mare e la buona cucina. Prenotare è d’obbligo, ma ne vale ogni attimo. Perché La Dosana non è solo un ristorante: è un’esperienza che ti resta nel cuore, come il profumo del mare al tramonto. Un pranzo che è diventato ricordo, una giornata che è diventata emozione.

04/05/2025: Siamo tornati per la seconda volta, e per la seconda volta è stata un’esperienza fantastica. Se volete mangiare pesce di qualità, e trovare personale accogliente e simpatico, questo è il posto giusto!

10/10/2025: Late night food spot! Didn’t disappoint was stuck waiting for a taxi but they were open and friendly.

28/09/2025: The staff is a big cheater. Wherever you go in a restaurant, you get two parathas and vegetable dal with it for just two and a half euros. These people give you a cold paratha and the vegetables they give you on top are two euros. If you ask for tea at any other restaurant near them, it costs one euro, but the milk they bring in comes from Canada. They give you a tea that costs two and a half euros, and that too is cold. It's a very useless service.

25/09/2025: I recently dined at Taste of India during my trip to Rome, and it truly stood out as an authentic gem. The food was of excellent quality, with flavorful vegetarian dishes that reminded me of home, and the complimentary pickle salad added a delightful tangy crunch that elevated the meal. Genuine Indian people

19/07/2025: Booked through The Fork; the place was terrible, not very clean, poorly maintained, greasy and defrosted food, terrible experience! I won't be back and I wouldn't recommend it, not even with the 50% discount I got on the app.

17/07/2025: We had the opportunity to enjoy the Indian cuisine lunch at the Raj Darbar restaurant along with our Europe tour team. Nice Indian food, well-arranged ambience. Only the thing to improve is the restroom and the handwash area. Service was also nice. While visiting Padua or on the way to Venice this restaurant is good choice for Indian menu.

22/07/2025: We ate at this restaurant last night. Everything was delicious and carefully prepared! Forget the hasty, indignant reviews of these fast-food crowds from gentrifying Milan, who demand things how and when they want them. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes and is authentic. Go there!

10/05/2025: A good Indian place to go to eat, delicious and plentiful food, in fact we couldn't finish it all and they made us take things away. Friendly and kind staff. Recommended if you want to try Indian food, two people having taken the tasting menu with drinks we spent €80, considering everything including prosecco offered by the house at the beginning and coffee at the end the price is excellent.

27/04/2025: Bad place. My partner and I entered at 12.05pm with the place empty and we waited until 12.45pm to have the first course. Heated appetizer, mix of battered vegetables with dried and hard spinach probably from the day before. The chickpeas we ordered were clearly taken from the can and cooked for 10 minutes. Both the chickpeas and the lentils were tough, even the onion still crunched under your teeth. The unseasoned rice assembled at the last moment with vegetables that tasted like nothing. The cheese naan tasted like anything but cheese. We had to salt any dish. This has never happened to an Indian restaurant and we are excellent frequenters of this type of cuisine. Also not recommended for the prices. We spent 60 euros leaving every dish on the table. Everything is really bad including the unlikely service.

23/10/2025: The portions are very small for the price. The spicy dishes aren't just those marked, but others as well, even though we asked the waiters to confirm. DO NOT try the naan bread because they'll bring you two small pieces for €3.50.

14/10/2025: Not good at all. Neither food nor their couresy worth the visit. Yesterday i had dinner at nearby Punjab Grill and honestly that was a far better experience. Today had dinner here at Maharajah it was absolutely pathetic. They are highly unprofessional and careless. As if it doesnt matter to them any more. With this attitude it wont last long.

19/07/2025: Too much expensive.. and quantity is also not enough while in the same price you can get food either in City Central…. Highly not recommended for students specially
