29/07/2025: Wonderful experience for the little ones!

29/07/2025: The park closes at 6:30 PM, and we (2 adults and 4 children) arrived at the ticket office around 4:20 PM and asked if we could enter the park. We absolutely didn't expect free entry to the park—of course we wouldn't! We know the human and financial commitment required to maintain a park like this, but it's shocking that to stay at the park for a couple of hours, we would have had to pay the full daily rate (i.e., €13.00/adult and €10.00/children).

20/08/2025: A simple place, friendly service. I followed their recommendations and was happy with it! Excellent food, decent portions, and all at a more than reasonable price. I highly recommend it.

31/07/2025: This is a casual spot mainly for Greek takeout, though there are a few tables if you want to eat in. It’s a self-service setup—they’re clear about that with signs saying it’s not a restaurant, which adds to the quirky charm. The gyros and souvlaki were great—authentic, well-seasoned, and generously portioned. You can choose sides like fries or a Greek salad. There’s even a sign saying they won’t make the salad without tomatoes, so don’t bother asking. The place is decorated with a mix of random Greek items that somehow work together to give the feeling you’ve stepped into a little corner of Greece, even if just for a short while. Staff were nice and welcoming. Good food, relaxed vibe, and a bit of character—worth a visit if you’re nearby.

13/08/2025: What can I say... small, well-kept place, with a family-friendly, welcoming feel. The owner is top-notch, friendly, and always smiling. The gyros are delicious!!! I recommend, recommend, recommend!

07/07/2025: I went to Taverna081 by booking on thefork, a quiet dinner, being here for work, pleasant and well-kept environment. The risotto with taleggio cheese and pistachio was really good: well-balanced in flavors, creamy at the right point and with an interesting note given by the pistachio. The service was kind and the timing was right, and the staff very kind, a good experience that I recommend, especially to those looking for simple but well-executed dishes.

04/08/2025: The three things that make any life worth living are good meat, a hot 🥵 loved one and some ice-cold beer. Today, this was manifested in this excellent Gyros, delicious for only about 10€ per portion - they served both vegetarian and meat options and we went for the lamb. Amazing! The tables were a bit small for someone as tall as me but perfect otherwise. We recommend the gelateria at the end of the street a bit further down for dessert to make it complete.
