'A Taverna E Zi Carmela
21/01/2025: We booked at 9:00 p.m. and arrived 5 minutes early. Upon entering, the owner greeted us and told us that we couldn't enter yet, that he didn't have the table ready and that we should wait outside for a few minutes.
Well, this wait lasted until 9:45 p.m. (January, cold and at night) when he finally had the table ready and let us in. There were a couple of other groups like us. The man was overwhelmed.
The food was fine, nothing more, but taking into account the service we will not repeat it.
17/01/2025: Very small tavern, but affordable prices even if the portions are not huge (knowing Naples)

15/11/2024: Questo è un posto come quelli di una volta. Si mangia benissimo e tutti prodotti del territorio. Sapori che nei ristoranti gourmet te li sogni.

14/09/2024: Localino piccolo in pieno centro storico che punta sul fast food e sull'asporto, ma basta chiudere gli occhi, farsi avvolgere dai profumi e assaporare il primo morso per immaginarsi tra le viuzze di Atene ... anche se Giorgio è di Creta. Gyros e qualche altro manicaretto da street food greco inarrivabili altrove. Grazie sempre

14/12/2024: Takeaway pizza. I took a white one with sausage and chips. Let's say "edible" dough. Sausage almost non-existent. The chips looked like those from McDonald's that you eat two days after keeping them in the fridge, among other things without salt. I've eaten better pizzas from Chinese in Milan.

11/12/2024: A quiet place, beautiful, clean environment. Food is great. We took the "La fantasia" appetizer and cod with salad and cod in a pan with tomato sauce. They are good and fresh. Quick and courteous service.
Prices €30 per person. I recommend you.

16/10/2024: the workers there do not give you any attention, i ordered a simple gyro, only the wrap and meat, nothing else. first off when we arrived the worker told us to wait 10 minutes before we could order, after those 10 minutes passed we came back again to order and we did. we saw that the meat was already cooked and thought it would be made fairly quickly but in actuality we had to wait 30 more minutes for them to give us our food.. not to even mention the shit meat they have...

17/01/2025: Non riesco ad esprimermi per l'eccellenza del pranzo in occasione del giuramento di un mio nipote nell'arma dei Carabinieri. I nostri invitati, seppur famigliari,sono rimasti super soddisfatti, un pranzo superlativo,per la bontà,qualità e porzioni.La torta talmente bella che è stato un peccato tagliarla.Concludo nel consigliare,La taverna se volete davvero mangiare bene.Non a caso,non era la.prima volta che ci andavo e di sicuro non sarà l'ultima.

Let's start with the venue:
Cute
Large with stage and a projector,
The chairs, better said benches
Very uncomfortable to get out of the table you have to do acrobatics,
they are comfortable to dance on
As the bravest dancers do...
Service
Pretty fast
Since I'm unlucky
They gave me 2 bottles of pepsi
One of which was dirty with bleach and I got stained
The thing that bothered me a lot
the owner was not friendly at all
not even an apology...
Let's talk about food
I already came for Carnival and the pizza was tasteless and chewy, so much so, and unfortunately this time too it was... and not just mine.
Appetizers;
Truly disgusting raw ham in oil (in my opinion, there are those who like it)
The banditos for 13 people 1 each
.. hahaha. Okay.
I don't know if we arrived last
But from 10.30pm we ate at 1am!!
Okay...

21/12/2024: Very nice place and full of joy, fun guaranteed, for the food very discreet, the service leaves a little to be desired, for a bottle of water we had to ask at least 6/7 times

23/11/2024: We ended up by chance in the low season, guided by the excellent reviews. The only customers of the place, we had a fried calamari and prawns which we had waited a century for, it was small in quantity and frozen, but very expensive (€16) and a salad that floated in water. House wine, white brought freshly cooled almost warm covered in cling film...I wonder how it can have such a high score...
17/11/2024: I went to eat there last night and I must say that everything was delicious, the staff were super friendly and Mrs. Anna was a really smart woman! I will definitely return and recommend it to everyone

08/12/2024: The food was very nice, I will return, just that the preparation time was very poor, it took too long! For the rest, nice come on! It's a good place to eat. I recommend it if you want to have a not too serious dinner/lunch or an evening with friends!
28/11/2024: Un posto semplice, accogliente e ospitale; il personale, una cortese signorina, molto gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo gustato un'ottima frittura all'italiana per gusto, leggerezza e abbondanza, pizze, "Stella", "Totò e "Ripieno" ottime nella migliore tradizione partenopea.
Ci hanno reso molto piacevole una grigia serata di pioggia autunnale.
Ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo.
