What can I say... good Carmine is always a guarantee. He knows how to delight the palate with products of the ancient home-made culinary tradition of Irpinia, making you live in an extremely familiar atmosphere that makes you travel back in your mind several decades... Everything perfect... quality, food, hospitality and price really modest. Highly recommended

Tavern like there are few around now, Carmine, as an excellent host, brings you authentic flavors to the table with excellent raw materials and cooked perfectly in order to enhance the taste, tripe, sautéed meat, wild boar, rabbit all truly delicious. Congratulations

Taverna come ce ne sono oramai poche in giro, Carmine, da Ottimo padrone di casa, ti porta a tavola sapori autentici con un ottima materia prima e cucinati perfettamente in modo da esaltarne il gusto, trippa, soffritto, cinghiale, coniglio tutto veramente delizioso Complimenti

Small and welcoming place. Typical Irpinian cuisine. Abundant homemade starter consisting of a platter of cheeses and cured meats and mixed dishes such as tripe, escarole and beans, Maritata soup. The Calitra cannazze with ragù are good. The Scottona steak is also good.

My girlfriend and I went there for her birthday. Being used to eating in the mountains, we expected the food to be so genuine, but not so EXCEPTIONALLY genuine! From the appetizer rich in local cured meats and seasonal side dishes to a very substantial first course, we arrive at a second course of excellent meat with a very tender cut. Note of merit for the fried potatoes because they are homemade. Plus the house red wine is particularly good!
I would rush back! Absolutely recommended!

typical Avellino place, very characteristic room with a capacity of around 35/40 people with great attention to detail, we had lunch near the fireplace it was a nice thing. the food is typical Irpinian family cuisine, excellent. excellent, the owner with a generous name is an excellent person.. highly recommended..!

Eravamo in 8 di domenica ed abbiamo prenotato un tavolo accanto al camino.
Locale piccolissimo Max 20 posti.
Abbiamo preso un antipasto buonissimo con tante portate ( peccato che non avessero la zuppa di castagne che è segnalata come buonissima). In tutti i casi tutto l’antipasto e’ piaciuto a tutti.
La carne è stata la nota dolente, porzioni abbondanti ma purtroppo la carne troppo fresca e non frollata è stata difficile da mangiare. Infatti era dura e stopposa. Abbiamo infatti lasciato quasi tutto e ci siamo fatti fare delle bags da portare ai cani.
Buono il vino della casa.
Prezzi non bassi, nessuna attenzione a noi riservata per il problema avuto con la carne.
E’ stata una esperienza .
