12/11/2025: I stumbled upon it by chance. As soon as I entered, I was immediately struck by the owner's kindness. I ate incredibly tender meat, red wine, and a mouth-watering zuppa inglese.

21/02/2026: I ordered the large pita gyros. The product is high-quality, as the vegetables are fresh and the meat is very flavorful. They also include generous fries on the side. The final price, including a can of Coke, is €12.50, which is quite reasonable. You have to wait a bit for your food, but it's definitely worth it. The owner is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

09/02/2026: The food was very good, but nothing could make up for the rudeness, arrogance, and greed of the guy. We waited almost an hour longer, and the guy seemed annoyed by our presence, as if we were bothering him by waiting. When we got to checkout, the POS wasn't working, and the order was expensive. Luckily, I had cash, so I proceeded to pay with that. The guy, as if unaware of the hour-long wait, asked us for the difference of two euros. After we politely asked him to accommodate us, he rudely declined. The insult couldn't have been greater, but then we realized the guy hadn't even paid the bill. Disgraceful. I repeat, the food was really good, but customers shouldn't be treated like that. If you want to feel at home, don't come to this place.

10/05/2026: I celebrated my birthday here, and it was our first time there...first and last! I have to say, the food was good, and the place was nice. The service was confusing and slow...every time we asked for something, we had to ask multiple times...when they served us, the dishes arrived halfway because other tables were being served, so we ate separately. But the entertainment was truly terrible!!!! A place that sponsors karaoke night, and who sings? Only the karaoke host himself! He did the "favor" to 5 people in the room by having each of them sing a song individually because "he was waiting for the ok from the staff" to proceed with the start of the karaoke evening... "collective" karaoke evening, meaning he sang into the microphone and everyone was there in front of him singing like that... only for one song did we ask for the microphone so we could sing and he did so, but for the next song he immediately deactivated our microphones! As they say in Naples "sa son e sa cantare sul iss"!

02/06/2026: Lunch on June 1st...I've been wanting to come to this truly delightful place for a long time. Lunch under the pergola overlooking the lake. The appetizer was fabulous, the veal tartare was fabulous, the veal with tuna sauce was mouth-watering, and the first courses were a real treat, especially the picagge with white Angus beef ragù made with chestnut flour. At the end, the caffè dei belli...he didn't reveal what it was. The Sauvignon on tap was lovely and chilled. I think I'll be back very soon. I forgot, the owners are very kind and friendly.

In reality, I was welcomed, ate well, and treated with kindness and respect, despite my limited Italian. The food and atmosphere were good, and the waiter was kind and attentive. I couldn't have asked for more.

14/01/2026: We went for lunch on Sunday, and there were many positives, starting with the very welcoming and clean restaurant, the friendly staff, and the good food. The negatives, however, were the difference between the appetizer and the first course. The meat appetizer the waiter suggested was delicious, well-received, and plentiful, while the first course was almost the opposite of the appetizer. Another negative was the bill, because the individual costs for each course were not listed on the receipt.

19/04/2026: From the bread and wine to the food, the experience was extremely poor. I absolutely do not recommend eating at the Aganoor tavern.

29/03/2026: The restaurant is in a great location, a 10-minute walk from Arquà. The food is good, and the staff is kind and friendly. The owner is charming. The atmosphere is a bit vintage, but clean and tidy. It's good value for money. I recommend it.

26/04/2026: I ate a pizza that wasn't satisfying because it lacked toppings. The worst aspect of the place is the bathroom with frosted glass doors: you can see everything, have zero privacy, and it smells bad. The pizza is served in a cardboard box, and the cutlery is plastic. Not to mention the sauces poured onto an aluminum tray. Inconvenience everywhere.

07/12/2025: On Saturdays and Sundays, the wait for takeout can be long; it's best to order pizza in advance. I assume it can also be long to eat in the dining room, based on what I've seen while waiting for takeout pizzas. I plan on eating there soon, even though the dining room is small (I think they open an outdoor area in a small courtyard in the summer) and some tables are right up against the counter where takeout waits. The pizza, however, is excellent, in terms of size and consistency, more similar to Roman pizza than Neapolitan pizza. The dough is excellent, and the toppings are excellent and plentiful. The fried panzerotti are excellent; they're generously sized and the fillings are appropriate.

02/01/2026: Highly recommended! I always stop by when passing through Castel Goffredo, and sometimes I actually go there specifically for that. The atmosphere is elegant and warm, and the service is excellent, with staff always helpful and efficient. The food is also excellent: you can't miss the best fried pizza in Lombardy!
