20/10/2025: It's a very nice and functional bar. The owners are good and very kind. I was able to enjoy a real cappuccino. Why "real cappuccino"? Because, unfortunately, today, quality is being lost in favor of speed and perhaps saving money by using second-rate products. Let's get back to the LOCATION. Very welcoming and well-organized. Here you can find a truly beautiful and excellent variety of pastries. The prices are very fair and the owners are polite, kind, and sociable. Honestly, having a good breakfast at this place is a great satisfaction. Word of Local Guide.

30/11/2025: Terrible evening, inedible pizzas, the worst pizza I've ever had, I think you need to hire a real pizza chef! Regarding the entertainment: I would have liked to have had fun, but instead it was one of those down-to-earth evenings, a bit vulgar and chaotic. I understand that the Brazilian girl is sensual and provocative, but specifically that Brazilian girl was vulgar and rude in her presentation. And then the audio... let's not even talk about it, there was only a deafening noise that was difficult to even understand the lyrics of the songs, a total echo!! Not to mention the bathrooms 🤮 impassable, puddles of urine (and here we are talking about hygiene) unknown to them! I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE!! then there's taste

18/11/2025: The owner is lovely, and her daughter is in the kitchen cooking. We absolutely loved the food. Just be aware that the portions are quite large. Excellent value for money.

18/11/2025: This place is truly amazing! The food, service and the atmosphere are amazing! Over the years we have tried multiple times to dine here, only to find out that they were closed. I've dined here twice on this visit to Scalea. I will continue to check their Facebook page for opening hours.

18/08/2025: There were four of us: a pizza, two first courses, and two second courses. The food was very good, and you could taste the quality. The pizza was truly excellent! The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was clean and tidy. The quality/price ratio was truly remarkable.

09/11/2025: 2025.11.09. Lunch Entering Taverna del Cacciatore is a true leap into the past. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, a true place from another era, authentic and unique. To the uninitiated, the exterior might seem modest and, to some, disheartening... In fact, this very simplicity is its strength; you immediately sense the atmosphere of a family kitchen: wood worn by life, old chairs like those of our grandparents, and the aromas of traditional specialties. The steaming fornarina offered before the meal embraces you with authenticity and flavor. The generously portioned homemade passatelli, topped with mushrooms, warms your heart. For the second portion of fornarina, we had to find the excuse of the (special!) roast potatoes... The fluffy and soft artisanal tiramisu concludes the lunch wonderfully. The extremely polite, kind, and welcoming staff; Bar and chatter on the ground floor, while the restaurant is on the first floor. 25/08/2025: We knew the place before. We were happy to return. The menu description is very creative and original. A mix of Ligurian and Piedmontese dishes, with some creative dishes. Good wine list. The owners, Linda and Simone, are friendly and empathetic. Try it and believe it.

12/11/2025: I stumbled upon it by chance. As soon as I entered, I was immediately struck by the owner's kindness. I ate incredibly tender meat, red wine, and a mouth-watering zuppa inglese.

13/11/2025: Unfortunately, the quality of customer service has significantly declined compared to a while ago. Staff members have bored or frowning expressions, few smiles, brusque or rude ways of asking customers what they want, or indifference, and differences in treatment among customers. I felt disrespected, unwelcome, and unwelcome, despite having frequented this bar for a long time and trying to address the staff with respect and courtesy, even though some misunderstandings or arguments can arise between staff and regular customers.
