24/04/2026: First time in this place, plenty of seating both inside and out. I was greeted and seated in no time, regular menu is limited but plenty of pizzas. Ordered a pizza with mushrooms, sausage and potatoes.. really good. Tiramisù was clearly made by someone else. Overall a very good experience and I will be back for sure

21/04/2026: We had dinner at this lovely restaurant, specializing in frogs (we ordered fish). Everything was excellent, from the appetizers to the first course, the second course, and the desserts. The atmosphere was warm and spacious (a second dining room is also available). The staff was friendly, smiling, and knowledgeable. The dishes also vary depending on the availability of fish at the vendors. Prices were average. Free private parking is available 50 meters from the restaurant, with 20-25 spaces. Reservations recommended.

There are no fish dishes on the menu. The selection of drinks is also rather limited, mainly consisting of house wine, water, and a few soft drinks. The house wine has a very young and robust character, which may not suit everyone’s taste, so it is worth considering before ordering. The food is fresh and carefully prepared, although this is more a place to visit for its atmosphere, beautiful location, and cozy evening experience than for fine dining. Overall, we had a pleasant experience. A beautiful spot with the special charm of Scalea’s old town, friendly staff, and very reasonable prices.

02/06/2026: A very charming location, the restaurant is nestled in the heart of an ancient village, among the steps leading to the Norman castle. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff are friendly, professional, and polite. The wait between courses was a bit long, but it's well known that good food takes time. We were all delighted with the quality and flavor of the dishes. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Scalea.

27/04/2026: We were craving pitagyros, and once we entered, we noticed the place was pretty noisy. From the tables to the counter, we decided to give it a try anyway and ordered. Preface: I've eaten enough pitas to know good ones from bad ones. The inside was very spicy, with plenty of raw onion (okay, but not that much), and a spice I've never encountered in any other pita: cumin. I don't know what poetic license they took to put so much of it... It infested the entire place. It wasn't a pleasant experience, and I'll definitely never go back. I've read about people who were sick. This confirms that the staff, in addition to not cleaning, don't even check the food in the kitchen. A disgrace. A visit from the local health authority is a must.

19/05/2026: I love Greek cuisine, and I found this restaurant's dishes to be truly delicious. The moussaka was definitely one of the best I've tried, not overly spicy but flavorful. The pita gyros was beautifully seasoned and packed with meat. The staff was very kind and helpful, and truly sweet and patient with the kids. The place is clean and quaint. I recommend it and will gladly return.

09/05/2026: A Geeek restaurant in Chiavari that actually competes with the best of them. We ordered 2 Greek salads with chicken skewers on the side . Chicken was not dry and chewy as everything was well prepared. Service was prompt as we were seared without a reservation on a Tuesday evening. A meal for 3, with no alcohol or desert cost 65 Euros. I recommend. It really hit the spot.

This place offers Greek pita, made with a simplicity and quality I've found nowhere else in the area. My choice is invariably the same: pita stuffed with meat, potatoes, and onion. It may seem trivial, but the difference between a well-prepared pita and a mediocre one is abysmal. Here, the ingredients are fresh, the proportions perfect, and that onion, instead of overpowering, balances every bite with mastery. I've never felt the need to change my order, and that speaks volumes about the quality of the dish. The owner has become familiar. It's almost as if he's considering hanging a personalized nameplate on my chair, which I occupy with a certain loyalty. I don't know if I should be proud or worried, but I definitely lean toward the former. The real test of my affection came when the restaurant closed for renovations. During that time, I realized how much I missed it. I scoured Vomero, opened Google Maps like a madman, and tried several alternatives—some decent, it must be said—but none of them could compete. It's one of those experiences you only understand when you lose something precious. When it finally reopened, everything was back where it belonged—including me, in my favorite chair. If you're in Vomero and looking for a tasty, quick, and authentic meal, you know where to go. And if you don't know it yet, consider yourself lucky to have discovered it now.

02/05/2026: Street food, not Greek cuisine, suitable for quick meals/on the go. You'll be satisfied for little money, but the quality and flavors are far from those of a Greek restaurant. I found the cuisine to be very inconsistent in terms of flavors. The pita bread was very uncomfortable to eat, the pork was decent, and I found the stuffed potatoes useless and "assembled" without much thought, with ingredients thrown in a bit haphazardly, without being mixed together. Edible but nothing special. The fried eggplant medallions were burnt.
