15/05/2026: Very good sushi, the best I've found in Trento so far. The price is high, but in line with good à la carte sushi. The only downside is the wait time; sometimes it takes way too long to get your order. And unfortunately, that happens often. I'd rather get a "no, we're full tonight" every now and then than have the place fill to capacity and not be able to process orders in a reasonable amount of time. I'll gladly return next time because the food is worth it. If I have to wait every time, I might never want to come back.
10/04/2026: One of our favorite places to eat Asian food. Very friendly staff, a menu with a wide variety of dishes, good prices, tasty, high-quality food, and a convenient downtown location. Highly recommended.

23/06/2026: I go to this place several times a year because I think it's the best sushi in Bolzano. The fish is always fresh, the service is fast, and the quality/price ratio is excellent. The decor is minimal but comfortable, and there's ample parking outside.
23/06/2026: I'm a regular, but now there's a €1.50 cover charge for a little soy sauce and a napkin that isn't cloth. I asked for a glass of Mayor's water and they wanted to charge me €0.50. This isn't good; customers have become like milk cows, to be milked to the max. Kindness toward customers is hard to come by, unfortunately. I hope you'll be kinder to other customers!

10/06/2026: I ordered a classic padthai and spring rolls for takeout, and I didn't realize the padthai was in broth.
The packages were all greasy, the noodles were overcooked in broth, and the spring rolls were completely rubbery.
I don't think I'll be back ;)
10/06/2026: I had pad thai and chicken yakitori which were good, but the sushi is definitely to be avoided.

28/06/2026: Bambus is one of those places that genuinely exceeded my expectations. Having enjoyed sushi in New York, Miami, and throughout the Caribbean, I wasn’t expecting to find sushi of this quality in Bolzano, but I was pleasantly surprised. Every roll was beautifully presented, incredibly fresh, and prepared with real attention to detail. You can tell the chefs take pride in what they serve.
The fried rice was the only dish that didn’t quite match the high standard of the sushi, but that certainly didn’t take away from the overall experience. I also noticed they don’t offer classics like wonton or egg drop soup, which suggests they’re focused on a more authentic Japanese style rather than a broad Asian menu.
What really makes Bambus special is the complete experience. The staff are genuinely friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. There’s plenty of parking, the restaurant sits in a beautiful riverside location, and the surroundings create a peaceful atmosphere that’s perfect for a relaxed lunch or dinner. It’s also a lovely spot to take a few photos before or after your meal.
If you’re looking for fresh, high quality sushi in Bolzano, Bambus is definitely worth a visit. I’ll certainly be returning the next time I’m in the area.

It's a shame that a young waiter with a goatee completely ruined the experience with his rude, arrogant, and completely out of place attitude from the first minute.
He seemed annoyed even by being spoken to, with curt responses and a manner that would be a joke to call "professional."
Such terrible service shouldn't exist in a place where the food truly deserves it.
I won't be returning until the staff changes, because this kind of behavior is unacceptable.
13/05/2026: A pleasant and convenient place, being next to the pool. The dining room is spacious and offers plenty of space. However, the menu is overly extensive and somewhat touristy; however, the quality of the food is good. Prices are in line with the offerings. I'm giving it 3 stars only because some dishes aren't typical of the area.

07/03/2026: We saw it online and it looked delicious, but as soon as we arrived we discovered it was à la carte sushi.
€40 for 30 pieces of sushi. We waited about 15 minutes for them, and they were also bad. The quality wasn't great, I expected better. We also ordered two udon noodles, one with spicy fish, but it was very, very sweet with a spicy sauce on the side. The other was beef, not spicy, and it was also super sweet, with a spicy sauce on the side (which they didn't indicate on the menu) that went on the plate, so spicy.
Finally, to make sure nothing was missing from the open kitchen, a waiter sneezed into his hands and then proceeded to rub his hands on his nose again and (we don't know if he washed his hands) then brought us our plates. We think the prices are very, very high for the quality. At the cash register, we told THAT waiter about our discomfort with the udon, and he responded with "weird, okay, never mind" or something like that. I should point out that he doesn't speak Italian very well, so it's difficult to have a conversation with him.
That said, we won't be returning.

Courses haven't arrived
Drinks arrived incorrectly twice, and I accepted it the second time anyway.
The first course was missing plates, and the second course arrived with a long delay. 30 minutes of waiting between courses. At 12:56 PM, part of the first course still hasn't arrived. I don't know if they're mixing up the tables...
Sorry, the place is nice.
28/05/2026: I don't understand such poor reviews. The food was very good, served quickly, and the service was very friendly.

14/06/2026: The food was of very high quality. Unfortunately, the service didn't quite live up to the same standard. It's also worth noting that the 'all you can eat' offer is now limited to a maximum of eight dishes. Overall, it's a real shame, as this restaurant used to be one of our go-to spots. These days, the price-performance ratio is no longer competitive compared to other restaurants in the area.

29/11/2025: Good restaurant, always excellent food, but I have to give 4 stars for the home delivery service. Lately, the delivery guys have been getting the address wrong EVERY TIME, ending up in other towns, when it would be enough to carefully read what is written both in the directions and in the notes (I live in the main square of a town 10 km from Trento, it's not difficult).
