21/05/2025: Overall good sushi, not among the best, the nigiri rice not very good, waiting times for the dishes incomprehensibly long. Menu to be reviewed: very messy. They welcomed two dogs without too many problems
22/04/2025: Izumi is the best restaurant you will find in Bologna, delicious food and impeccable service. I go there when I can and I'm always satisfied with the food I eat.

01/07/2025: Terrible experience. Salmon, Tuna and Sea Bass all tasted the same. From what I could hear, it is one of the worst value for money sushi a la carte. We will not be returning.

L'atmosfera e la studiata vicinanza con altri Clienti la rende un'esperienza da suggerire a Tutti. Bella anche l'idea e la possibilità di fare una riflessione su Sé stessi. Ottimo il Servizio, giovane, simpatico, cordiale.

25/06/2025: Buono ma si può migliorare. Tutto nella norma, locale nella piena tradizione del sushi a Parma. Fatta cena di sabato, 29€ . Solamente che per la stessa cifra si può mangiare un poco meglio ed in locali più carini.( e col parcheggio)
23/06/2025: In passato mi sono fermata varie volte al ristorante poiché il servizio e la qualità del cibo erano ottimi. Ma, questa volta sono rimasta molto delusa. Ci rechiamo in questo ristorante un sabato sera ( con prenotazione anticipata). Ci mettono in sala comune dove i tavoli sono così attaccati che possiamo tranquillamente sentire i discorsi dei tavoli vicini ( come se fossimo in all you can eat ma con i prezzi di un ristorante stellato). Ci portano l’assaggio della casa lasciandolo sul tavolo senza dare una minima spiegazione e senza dire se era un piatto che avevamo ordinato noi o altro. In seguito i piatti sono stati portarti così velocemente che nemmeno siamo riusciti a gustarli e mangiarli, ad una certa non c’era più spazio sul tavolo e la cameriera ha chiesto se potevo spostare una portata per appoggiarne un’altra sopra (la cameriera non centrava nulla, è l’organizzazione che era sbagliata ) . Sta di fatto che i piatti vengono appoggiati uno sopra all’altro come se fossimo (ripeto) in un all you can eat, non in un posto con i prezzi di questo genere. Ah dimenticavo, zero spiegazione per le portate che abbiamo scelto. Totale 250€ , abbiamo mangiato si (ammetto che alcuni piatti erano davvero buoni) ma ripeto, il servizio è di un all you can eat con i prezzi di uno stellato.

10/10/2023: Strong disappointment, I had a salmon Poke and for the umpteenth time the fish was clearly old and they even added vinegar to cover the unpleasant smell of the salmon, it was rubbery and dark, not to mention the rice and the rotten avocado, I had to throw everything away, even the sushi. I will never go back, don't joke about raw fish. NB in response to the comment, so that you can verify carefully what was given to me, I took it on Sunday and spent 32.8 euros "wasting" the Poke, I ordered it on the site, the fish smelled terribly like rice, it was all old, perhaps already made for a long time. It's not done like that
03/10/2023: I ate well, but the waitress with short hair was STRESSFUL! I don't have time to sit down before he immediately asks me what I want to drink and whether I want the menu or à la carte formula. I said I'll think about it...
2 minutes pass and she comes to ask me what I wanted to do and in a hurry I told her on paper. Then I asked for a change with the menu formula; I apologize, but I haven't had time to reflect and take a look at the prices...
I have two plates in front of me, I finish one and I don't have time to finish it before he takes it away from under me while I'm eating from the plate next to it without even politely asking "sorry, can I..?"
For drinking I was given a can and a glass, as soon as I finished the glass he was taking it away from me... But why on earth, once the liquid in the glass was finished, should I drink from the can if I have the glass there?
As soon as he tried to guess that I was full and that I wouldn't order anything else (which wasn't true), he asked me if he could take the menu away (and the second time he asked for chopsticks)... But what if I still wanted to continue eating? ??
But what is this rush to clear the table as much as I can? The place had only a quarter of the tables occupied, as if there were all this crowd of people to manage.
Waitress... relax a little please....

08/06/2025: I had lunch at Kome, an all you can eat sushi spot, and overall, the experience was quite satisfying when it came to the food and the speed of service. Dishes arrived quickly and consistently, with barely any waiting time between orders — something that often drags down the experience at similar places. The sushi was fresh, well-prepared, and offered a good variety of options, from uramaki to nigiri and some solid hot dishes.
The only downside was the lack of friendliness from the staff. While they were efficient and quick, their attitude felt a bit cold and disengaged. There wasn’t much interaction, no smiles, and an overall absence of warmth that usually helps make a meal feel more enjoyable and welcoming.

13/06/2025: Very nice place aesthetically, but perhaps that is the only strong point.
I came a few years ago and was slightly shocked by the staff, at the cash register they almost gave the impression of being annoyed with every word.
Some time has passed, the staff has changed, but the treatment is identical. Evidently the selection is voluntary.
Regarding the sushi, having tried many in Modena, I can say that it competes for the last places in the ranking regarding the quality of the fish, and I say this quite surprised given that it is ONLY à la carte.
Seeing many take-aways I thought that perhaps I was missing something, but as you can see from the photo the quantity of fat in the salmon is really high, and regarding the taste unfortunately I cannot speak positively about it. The fish had little taste and the soy sauce they gave was very salty, inedible.

02/06/2025: Very nice neighborhood Japanese restaurant. They say they have been here for 30 years. I have tried both the Chinese lunch menu and the sushi in the evening and I must say that both were satisfactory. The sushi is quite good, very good instead the Chinese food is above average.
I recommend it.

27/06/2025: If you are looking for a Japanese restaurant, even though I have tried worse, it is not the right choice; a good part of the menu is Chinese as is the management, and all the dishes have this kind of greasy oriental taste (not to mention the smell and cleanliness of the place). Decent sushi considering the low price, but badly plated, the uramaki are so huge that they look like Motta pinwheels. Mediocre to disastrous service, both from the waiters and the owners, and not suitable for those in a hurry. Furthermore, it is not advisable to eat here in the summer given the oven-like temperature inside.

27/02/2025: A la carte sushi restaurant, small restaurant but I find it very nice. The sushi is of good quality, but I must say that for the price you pay I was definitely expecting something more, especially in the flavor of the uramaki and in the presentation of the sushi "boat". Even in desserts I didn't find them good in flavor. The negroni they make is very good.
