Koi In Parma

The atmosphere was lovely, very intimate lighting and seating. The customer service was perfect, friendly but not too up in your face, and the food was AMAZING. Definitely will visit again.

The food wasn't bad, but nothing special. I didn't like the location, but that's a matter of personal taste. The clientele was convinced they were in New York, but it was on a street outside Parma's city center. The staff was friendly, and the food took a long time. I wouldn't go back.

I've been to the Koi restaurant and I have to say it was a truly excellent experience. The sushi is top-notch, the uramaki are unique and amazing, with combinations like lobster, seared tuna, and scampi, all very original and flavorful. Especially... P.S.: The passion fruit with Mazara del Vallo red shrimp and mango sauce is a true masterpiece...try it!! The service is attentive and professional, and you can taste the attention to every detail. Tasting the tuna made me realize I'd never eaten real tuna before: compared to the classic all-you-can-eat restaurants, here the flavor is bold, intense, and lingers in the mouth—simply delicious. The desserts deserve a special mention; they're carefully crafted and unique; I highly recommend the green tea tiramisu. For two, we spent €160: yes, the prices are high, but you pay for the quality and it's absolutely worth it. If you want to eat truly well, this is the place to be. I definitely recommend it and will definitely be back!

A quality Japanese restaurant with unique dishes you won't find at other similar restaurants. The service wasn't exactly impeccable that evening; we had a long wait. The prices were perhaps a little high, but overall, once you've finished dinner, you're satisfied because the food is delicious!

Definitely the best Japanese restaurant in Parma. Be careful, it's not an all-you-can-eat option: only à la carte menus, elaborate dishes, and the freshest food at a price that matches the quality.
