It is in a beautiful location and the location is perfect.
We are not from the area but we found ourselves there to eat but if we were to return it would certainly be a certain stop.

I was absolutely enchanted by my recent visit to this sushi restaurant. The location is simply wonderful, a true jewel of oriental style that transports you to another dimension as soon as you cross the threshold. 29/05/2025: Very nice restaurant. Welcoming service. I tasted the 6 courses chosen by the chef. The first 3 very good (fish sashimi, mixed carpaccio and tartare) the other three quite disappointing (normal uramaki, gyoza and vegetable tempura). In my opinion the tastings should not fall into the obvious. All in all everything good, nice environment and precise service.
If they want to improve as a restaurant, definitely see the tastings
11/05/2025: Prepared and super friendly service, quality and refined raw materials... exceptional sashimi, even more fish ramen, even the gyoza were divine... prices above average, but then you pay for quality...
Only flaw? Coffee at €3 and cover charge at €4, definitely too high.

21/06/2025: It's not really a restaurant where you can gorge on sushi! When I was there there were about ten types with lots of rice and very large but not much "filling". Most of the dishes are from Chinese restaurants, fried foods and grilled dishes. If you're looking for an all you can eat sushi place it's not for you. Although eating with a sea view at similar prices is more than fine.

11/04/2025: Locale di altissimo livello: ambientazione delle Mauritius, realizzato in modo quanto mai fedele, cucina con chef d’esperienza internazionale, la cantina è sorprendentemente ricca e il personale di sala molto gentile e disponibile. L’unica cosa non a livello è il prezzo!
27/02/2025: Un ristorante famoso, con annesso splendido stabilimento balneare della famiglia De Cecco, punto di riferimento e di grande richiamo per la città di Pescara. Ristorante che durante l’anno si avvale della collaborazione dello Chef tristellato Heinz Beck che organizza serate a tema. Ho avuto il piacere di trascorrere il pranzo natalizio con la mia famiglia in un ambiente caldo, molto creativo e curato nelle decorazioni natalizie. Il locale cambia spesso scenografia in base alle festività e agli eventi, a memoria della clientela storica. Il personale di sala accogliente, garbato, attento alle esigenze della clientela. Il pranzo natalizio si è sviluppato tutto intorno ai piatti iconici natalizi della tradizione abruzzese, molto gustosi, curati , creati con materiali di alta qualità. Nonostante il locale fosse al completo ho apprezzato il tono silenzioso e pacato della clientela ( cosa rara in Italia). Naturalmente non posso non consigliarlo, mi auguro di tornarci presto, magari in estate.

01/06/2025: Usually if I eat badly I refrain from writing a bad review because if someone cooks like a dog (sorry to the dogs) what does the other workers have to do with it? But there are those exceptions for which this rule does not apply because more or less everyone is responsible so:
Let's start by saying that in this restaurant they practice "all you can eat" at the same price for both lunch and dinner, obviously applying the highest rate, that is, the dinner rate also adopted for lunch (which is usually lower in other restaurants);
When you sit down, neither the staff nor the paper or digital menu report that a surcharge will be applied in case of food waste (obviously this is due to the fact that they know very well that if people cook badly, they leave the food and this is convenient because they can earn more);
Always choosing the "all you can eat" formula you are told that "everything is included except alcohol" (were we told that desserts are not included? There were three of us, and none of us remembered this detail: all partially deaf then?)
But the best thing was reserved for us at the end when, having pointed out that the surcharge rule had neither been said out loud nor reported in writing, the Italian waitress thought it best to disappear into the kitchen leaving us for a quarter of an hour to think about what to do with the food that we had left in abundance: should we take it back to the neighborhood cats? (And what harm would those poor little animals have done to have to put up with that rubbish?)
in conclusion:
This place is only suitable as a means of escape in case, God forbid, a future pandemic makes the planet similar to the apocalyptic scene of "I am Legend", invaded by furious zombies and you find yourself in the urgent need to save yourself: then go in confidently, they will certainly never enter this restaurant

05/11/2024: Purchased 3 doves for Easter, one for my family, one for friends and one as a gift. If it was possible to give zero stars, they were mine. They sell the doves declaring that they weigh one and a half kilos. One weighed approximately one kilo and two hundred, and the other two weighed approximately one kilo and three hundred. Out of 3 doves, approximately 700 grams were missing. Do the math yourself. There was no label on the package showing the ingredients, you can't,
I had to give one as a gift, imagine if they had any allergies. And then, absurdly, never seen, no production date and no expiry date. Seven of us tasted them and we all had the same feeling, too much, too sweet. 3 doves €105 full price, arrived today, after Easter (and you can now find the doves in stores at 50% discount). And where did you put the cream???? But how do you think you're serious????? But you are to be reported. Never again, never again.

14/10/2024: If you are looking for a place where the quality of the dishes and cocktails is at the center of the experience, " Penso Peggio " in Pescara is the right place for you. I was really impressed by the good standard and creativity that characterizes every aspect of the menu. Let's start with the dishes: the cuisine manages to amaze with proposals that range from Abruzzo tradition to more modern and innovative dishes. I particularly appreciated the attention in choosing the ingredients, all very fresh and top quality. Each course, from first courses to second courses, is carefully prepared and impeccably presented. The portions are generous but without exaggerating, perfectly balanced. Another big selling point are the cocktails. The restaurant bar offers an interesting and well-thought-out selection of drinks, ranging from classics to original creations from the restaurant's bartenders. I tried a couple of craft cocktails and both turned out to be true works of art, both in taste and presentation. The fresh ingredients, bold combinations and precision in balancing the flavors made every sip a unique experience. It is clear that great attention is also paid to the mixology part, with proposals that are perfectly suited to both the aperitif and after dinner. In conclusion, " Penso Peggio " does not disappoint at all: here you come to enjoy excellent dishes and surprising cocktails, in an informal but refined environment. Definitely one of the best places in Pescara for those looking for quality and creativity!
