Il Pagliaccio is a culinary experience that combines a sense of style with a passion for innovation. Ideal for couples, special occasions, or fine dining enthusiasts. It's somewhat less suitable for classic "cucina povera" lovers. The two Michelin stars are absolutely deserved.

29/06/2025: If you come to Il Pagliaccio looking for good food you will be disappointed, because here you will find an experience that will stay with you for life. My friend and I requested the parallels menu, a 14-course menu in a private room. We expected a dinner of a certain level and instead I still don't know exactly how to describe the evening because calling it a "dinner" is extremely reductive. The years of experience and study of the dishes are noticeable and the palate begins to travel from one continent to another. The waiting staff was incredible, all very professional but above all willing to satisfy our every curiosity. Even the chef and the pastry chef came to talk to us. You can see that for all of them it is not just a job but a passion, and it makes all the difference in the world. I recommend this experience to everyone.
If you come to Il Pagliaccio looking for a good meal you will be disappointed, what you will get instead is so much more than that, truly an unforgettable experience. Me and my friend requested the Parallels menu, a 14 dish adventure in a private room. To call what we experienced just a "dinner" would be extremely belittling. The years of experience and study of the chef can be clearly seem through every dish, each one of them will take your taste buds on a trip to different continents. The staff was impeccable, very professional and very patient with us, answering all of our questions. Even the chef and the chef patissier came out of the kitchen to talk to us. It is clear that for these people it is not a simple job but a time tested passion, and they reflect this passion towards the customers. I recommend this experience to everyone.

Day of walking by the sea... a friend recommends Dish on the beach.
The owner welcomes us with a smile and advises us to eat outside given the sun.
We eat a seafood appetizer (very hot fried fish and octopus, mussels, and seafood salad). For the second course, you choose fried calamari and prawns. Finally the dessert that delights my palate and sight... a chocolate heart with vanilla ice cream inside!!...
There was everything to digest the lemon sorbet😊
Good lunch, beautiful smiles, and a place to come back.

16/06/2025: It was very fancy inside and there were so many sushi options. We tried 6 rolls, all of them were fabulous. Our party of 4 were the only ones in the place until around 9pm. The atmosphere is great and the food was even better. Definitely give this place a try if you want a break from pasta!
10/06/2025: Total disappointment with the service, despite the good quality of the food
I have been a customer of Shinto several times and have always appreciated the quality of the raw materials. However, my last experience (Tuesday 10 June 2025) was disappointing in every aspect related to the service.
The staff in the dining room proved to be slow, disorganized and not very attentive. After repeated requests to receive the dishes ordered, I was served a cold dish, a clear sign of poor attention to the customer. A frustrating experience that completely ruins the pleasure of a dinner.
I am sorry to say it, but if the level of service remains this high, it will be difficult to return.
A shame, because the cuisine deserves better.

07/07/2025: Bad experience. The website says you can also eat gluten-free sandwiches, but once we entered, we were told that, yes, there is gluten-free food, but there is contamination. So I ask myself: "Who are you feeding this "contaminated" gluten-free food to?" Obviously we left. Leon made a better impression because we were shown the foods that were definitely NOT contaminated because they were packaged in a way that they could be safely reheated.

16/06/2025: If it had less than one star, I would have given it. The staff is terrible in every sense of the word. Their manner is very rude to the receptionists and two of them are very clear. The location of the hotel is very bad and everything is far from you. I do not recommend staying there at all. The reception staff are literally all bad and I will not repeat my visit to the hotel and I do not recommend Gulf nationals to stay there.
10/06/2025: A beautiful hotel in a really peaceful part of the city. Our room was wonderful - the bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was great. The breakfast was super - lots of choice and all fresh. After a long day wandering around Rome, this was the perfect place to come back to.

27/05/2025: It's a great restaurant with a great atmosphere👍
22/05/2025: As soon as we arrived at the restaurant and sat down, they handed us a basket of bread, and I told them we didn't want any. We placed our order and thought it was a bit small. I ate it in less than 5 minutes. There wasn't even 100g of pasta! Too bad…
That's why we decided not to order dessert… We won't be back!
