25/09/2025: Good food...unfortunately, the waitress didn't bring the ordered water and wine...but the water was included on a handwritten bill...that shouldn't be the case...
23/09/2025: Very tasty and beautiful and atmospheric, these are the dishes you go to eat in a restaurant, because you will never be able to repeat this taste yourself in your own kitchen. We ate the most delicious snails, sea bass and rabbit roll.

29/09/2025: Good evening, when I spent my experience at Garibaldi 45, I felt reborn. The food quality was EXCELLENT, the staff was super welcoming, and the atmosphere was spectacular.
I'll definitely be back.
26/07/2025: A truly wonderful discovery. Arriving by chance, we found a familiar face in the regional restaurant scene (the creator of other fine establishments in the past), extremely attentive service, a particular attention to even unusual pairings, and quality ingredients. Ultimately, we ate really well at a truly fair price.

I had a chicken steak... terrible to say the least... practically reheated... dry and inedible... the other dishes were not much better... I paid a lot too... terrible place... terrible food... angry waiters who were not very helpful... I will never go back... very poor quality

24/09/2025: I bought a gluten-free salmon and caper pizza that I could throw away straight away. I couldn't even cut it with shears and it cost 17 euros. They won't see me anymore, thrown in the bin. It's a shame I can't post the photos I took otherwise they would be ashamed.

25/09/2025: There's a line at the counter, and it's perfectly justified.
All the products, handmade on-site, are very good (especially the coffee, roasted on-site).
The staff is very efficient and helpful.
Parking is easy, and there's even a small terrace.
I highly recommend it!
20/09/2025: Since I've been coming to Udine, this place has become my personal "whim." I always try to find a good excuse to come here and religiously eat a delicious brioche with Chantilly cream and a slice of pizza. My favorite is the one with onions, but I think it's pretty much everyone's favorite since it's so rare to find.
I recommend this place wholeheartedly!

06/09/2025: We just arrived, 3:00 PM. There are four of us. We had three Cokes and a half-bottle of beer. It would probably take over an hour to get four toasties. Something to eat... maybe some meatballs, but it'll still take an hour or more. All in all, it's a nice, pleasant place. I've been there before, but with the stall outside, which is very nice and attractive, not being able to offer anything to eat in an acceptable amount of time, frankly one would say that perhaps the owner isn't aware of this, or else they'll have to think about it quite a bit. If I go back, I'd like to speak to the owner, whom I know by sight. Frankly, I'm very disappointed. We left after consuming our drinks, that's all I'll say.

24/08/2025: What a shame! We've been coming back with the whole family for seven years, but this time it was a disaster from start to finish.
The ordering process was completely lacking, the waitress was irritated and surly, some main courses were brought out with the main courses, while others arrived an hour later. The children waited an hour and a half for a pizza, while the mixed grill served a still-frozen swordfish fillet, which was immediately sent back.
Only the very kind owner tried to cheer us up at the end, offering some bitters and a €10 discount as an apology.
Unfortunately, after this experience, our next family dinner will definitely be elsewhere.

18/09/2025: I'd like to focus on two things in particular: the service and the bill. The wait was incredibly long for water, bread, and wine (which arrived after multiple requests, and after the appetizers had already been brought to the table). We asked for a quarter of the house wine, a pointless request as we were only served a bottle of house wine (€9 for two glasses). The staff seemed lost and unprofessional. When the appetizers arrived, we asked for parmesan cheese and were told "it shouldn't be served on tagliolini with mushrooms" (she was visibly annoyed). After three of us had a small appetizer of cured meats for two (sorry, I don't have a photo, but the portion was really small), three first courses (a plate of tagliatelle and two gnocchi with porcini mushrooms), two desserts, and a sorbet (€8), we left with a bill of €120.00! The dishes we ordered were off-menu, it's true, but if these additions to the regular menu cost double the price of the dishes on the menu, it would probably be appropriate to disclose this or warn customers of the enormous markup. The desserts, two custard and raspberry tarts, arrived piping hot, probably left in the microwave for too long; I would have avoided serving them. When we asked for clarification on the bill, the treatment wasn't the best, not even from the owner, which goes to show that the problem is always rooted in the matter. Thank you, and never again!

13/08/2025: An impromptu stop on the road between Slovenia and Italy. A nice surprise! Despite a visit the day before the annual closure; A warm welcome, fresh and very tasty dishes. Don't hesitate for a second to stop!

27/09/2025: I came to the restaurant when it was almost empty, told the waiter I still need a moment to think about what to eat. He didn't come back to take my order for 40 minutes. When I went inside to order another waitress told me the kitchen had already closed (at 14:00). When I said I hadn't been told the kitchen would close and had been waiting outside for the waiter for a long time she rudely told me I could order some soup. Neither of them apologized for the misunderstanding. So I got the soup of the day served with stale bread. When I went to pay she wanted to charge me 7€ for the soup when the menu on the door said 6€. I told her I would pay what the menu said. Again she was very rude. Before I left she showed me a printed menu (probably for tourists) that said 7€ for the soup. I told her I only read the menu on the door and that they should fix their prices. Again she was very rude.
I left the place very hungry and angry.
19/08/2025: We go every Wednesday to eat the tagliata or the rib steak, delicious meat and legendary tiramisu at the end
