03/11/2025: I'm sharing this review because it deserves to be reviewed. Everything was excellent, from appetizer to dessert, everything was delicious... I'm giving an extra star to a very important but often overlooked detail: I ordered a tagliata and was told that the salt was on the edges and not on top of the meat, which is a very positive note as the flavor of the meat is very concentrated and doesn't get lost in the salt. Keep up the good work, you're doing great! 🌸

10/11/2025: 5 stars are truly too few. This restaurant is located in Tricesimo, just steps from the SaniRad clinic: that's precisely why we decided to try it, since we were in the area for a visit. From appetizer to dessert, every dish was impeccable: attention to detail and excellent flavor. We'll definitely be back. Greetings from Austria.

16/11/2025: Zago consistently ranks among the best restaurants in Friuli Venezia Giulia. The ambience, cuisine, friendliness, and quality make this restaurant a true gem, especially since it's located in a quaint hamlet, expertly enhanced by the owner. In short...a guarantee! Prices are, of course, fair, just like everything else.

11/11/2025: I celebrated my birthday dinner here and I have to say it did not disappoint. The ambiance was charming, the service excellent, and the food sublime. It was worth it!

07/11/2025: On my list of favorites. The menu is always interesting and carefully selected, without being overwhelming. The prices are reasonable for the overall service, and the wine list is excellent. The staff are excellent. My only personal comment: I'd avoid having the wait staff repeat the entire menu; during dinner, I must have heard it at least four times from neighboring tables.

25/09/2025: There's a line at the counter, and it's perfectly justified. All the products, handmade on-site, are very good (especially the coffee, roasted on-site). The staff is very efficient and helpful. Parking is easy, and there's even a small terrace. I highly recommend it!

07/12/2025: A guaranteed great place for a family-friendly lunch. Fairly priced and generous portions. Grilled meat with horseradish (not too strong), wiener schnizel with kartoffelsalat, and a beer to go with it, you'll leave satisfied! The fried onions are a must-share to start the meal! The small dining room on the first-floor veranda is particularly lovely.

18/09/2025: I'd like to focus on two things in particular: the service and the bill. The wait was incredibly long for water, bread, and wine (which arrived after multiple requests, and after the appetizers had already been brought to the table). We asked for a quarter of the house wine, a pointless request as we were only served a bottle of house wine (€9 for two glasses). The staff seemed lost and unprofessional. When the appetizers arrived, we asked for parmesan cheese and were told "it shouldn't be served on tagliolini with mushrooms" (she was visibly annoyed). After three of us had a small appetizer of cured meats for two (sorry, I don't have a photo, but the portion was really small), three first courses (a plate of tagliatelle and two gnocchi with porcini mushrooms), two desserts, and a sorbet (€8), we left with a bill of €120.00! The dishes we ordered were off-menu, it's true, but if these additions to the regular menu cost double the price of the dishes on the menu, it would probably be appropriate to disclose this or warn customers of the enormous markup. The desserts, two custard and raspberry tarts, arrived piping hot, probably left in the microwave for too long; I would have avoided serving them. When we asked for clarification on the bill, the treatment wasn't the best, not even from the owner, which goes to show that the problem is always rooted in the matter. Thank you, and never again!
