03/08/2025: Renovated and always excellent 👍🤩💜 Easy to get to because it's located on the main road. Outdoor parking. Ideal for breakfast and lunch, open all day (5:00 AM - 6:00 PM). Seating both inside and outside. They also offer the option of purchasing their own brand products (such as coffee and room fragrances), as well as other lines of genuine food products (jams, herbal teas, etc.). Knowledgeable and friendly staff. I definitely recommend it when coming from Camporosso towards Tarvisio.

01/08/2025: A vast selection for breakfast and/or lunch, both sweet and savory. The shop is well-stocked with grappa and liqueurs. I'm updating my review, confirming my positive opinion of the variety of sandwiches, salads, cured meats and cheese platters, and desserts (the cherry crumble and strudel are delicious). The staff is friendly and very helpful. The interior has been renovated; the liquor store is no longer there, but now specialty products are sold inside.

20/07/2025: We've eaten here many times, either as a couple or with friends, and have always been very satisfied. 👍🙌 The pizza is amazing. 🤤 Friendly staff and great value for money. We'll be back.

19/07/2025: We ate two gnocchies, one quattro formaggi and one with smoked ricotta. Latter one was quiet dry and tasteless, the other one was average but both of them was too soft/overcooked.

12/07/2025: We had a fantastic meal at Al Mangart. They offer truly traditional Italian cuisine, which was absolutely delicious. We were also pleased to see they have excellent gluten-free options, and some of their dishes are suitable for vegans too. The service was incredibly prompt and attentive. Our server spoke fluent English and German, which made ordering a breeze and added to a very pleasant dining experience. If you're looking for authentic Italian food with accommodating options and great service, this is the place.

29/05/2025: A quick stop for breakfast on the way to Italy. Very friendly and reasonably priced (cappuccino €2, espresso €1.30), with a large parking lot, even for RVs. I highly recommend it.

06/05/2025: Returning from Austria, first stop across the border, we stop for a coffee which then becomes an aperitif with a special mention for the exceptional meatballs 🙌

07/06/2025: We ended up at this village by accident in te first place. But we loved the entire authentic vibe. Especially the kind hearted and caring people (sth with a mtb that broke down). We didn t plan to go out for dinner but... then we saw this place. It looked inviting although only local people were there and it was siesta time. Since I didnt feel like cooking we first asked if it was possible to pay by card. Luckily it was! It was Still early so we first went to the waterfall (which u can apparently ice climb in winter!! *when we are more experienced climbers we will surely try) We loved it. Maybe because we were outside the season. We didnt visit the mines although we understood that the visit was worthwhile. Coming back to the review of this inn. We absolutely adored it. We hardly speak Italian but the woman who helped us was so kind. And the food was amazing!! We had a starter first with cheese and meat but the best of all: their flatbread. We would definitely go back to just ask the recipe for that one! We first wanted to order 2 pizza's but after the starter we Just shared 1 and the taste was amazing too. So cheers to all of the people who still live in the village and shout out to this tasty place!

23/08/2025: The service was very friendly and attentive. I got tagliatelle with ragu just before closing time. The price was very reasonable at €24, including a quarter liter of white wine and mineral water.

22/08/2025: A lovely place with the atmosphere you'd expect in the mountains. We were greeted with kindness and friendliness, and the food was delicious!

04/08/2025: I took a week-long vacation in July 2025. It was a wonderful holiday for me. The breakfast was plentiful and varied, catering to all tastes, as was dinner. The owners and staff were very friendly and eager to accommodate every need. The hotel is very close to the city center yet away from the hustle and bustle. Ample parking. Bike rental available (which is a plus), and it's very close to the Alpe Adria cycle path. I highly recommend it.

08/07/2025: Good value for money hotel. Good breakfast with a wide selection. A 10-15 minute walk from the center and restaurants.

14/08/2025: A quick lunch on the way back to Italy, disappointing. The food was standard fare; the carpaccio was good but very sparse and awkwardly presented on a cutting board—but why? The cut was quite tough, and the first courses were average. This translates to poor value for money. Finally, the service was slow, and the cover charge was €2 per person plus €4 for tap water! Not bad.

09/08/2025: Delicious dishes, fast and efficient service. I especially recommend it to travelers. It's worth taking a short detour off the nearby highway for a delicious dinner instead of eating at gas stations in Austria. Tarvisio itself is charming!

09/08/2025: We didn't have a reservation on a Saturday evening in August. Despite it being busy, the staff made us a spot. The staff were very friendly, and the pizza was delicious. Highly recommended.

21/08/2025: Beautiful hotel with breathless views, clean rooms very delicious food and friendly service.

20/08/2025: The rooms have ceiling fans, which is much better than air conditioning. Most rooms have a balcony, ours had a mountain view, it's quiet and peaceful, a small village, and lots of storage space in the rooms.
