07/06/2025: We ended up at this village by accident in te first place. But we loved the entire authentic vibe. Especially the kind hearted and caring people (sth with a mtb that broke down). We didn t plan to go out for dinner but... then we saw this place. It looked inviting although only local people were there and it was siesta time. Since I didnt feel like cooking we first asked if it was possible to pay by card. Luckily it was! It was Still early so we first went to the waterfall (which u can apparently ice climb in winter!! *when we are more experienced climbers we will surely try) We loved it. Maybe because we were outside the season. We didnt visit the mines although we understood that the visit was worthwhile. Coming back to the review of this inn. We absolutely adored it. We hardly speak Italian but the woman who helped us was so kind. And the food was amazing!! We had a starter first with cheese and meat but the best of all: their flatbread. We would definitely go back to just ask the recipe for that one! We first wanted to order 2 pizza's but after the starter we Just shared 1 and the taste was amazing too. So cheers to all of the people who still live in the village and shout out to this tasty place!

12/07/2025: We had a fantastic meal at Al Mangart. They offer truly traditional Italian cuisine, which was absolutely delicious. We were also pleased to see they have excellent gluten-free options, and some of their dishes are suitable for vegans too. The service was incredibly prompt and attentive. Our server spoke fluent English and German, which made ordering a breeze and added to a very pleasant dining experience. If you're looking for authentic Italian food with accommodating options and great service, this is the place.

03/06/2025: A simple bar serving delicious pizza made locally. The waitress and the chef were both very nice.

08/06/2025: Nous n'avions pas réservé, mais on nous donna une table dans petit coin, juste parfait. Nous avons commandé le bresola, raviolis aux asperges, goulache de boeuf et pour finir un tiramisu. Tout était très bon, le tiramisu était léger. Service rapide....

20/06/2025: average food and prices but did what needed to be done. Staff were multilingual and normal. Not too friendly or pushy. Might be hard to maneuver many of the tables, so its not 100% wheelchair accessible.

29/05/2025: A quick stop for breakfast on the way to Italy. Very friendly and reasonably priced (cappuccino €2, espresso €1.30), with a large parking lot, even for RVs. I highly recommend it.

06/05/2025: Returning from Austria, first stop across the border, we stop for a coffee which then becomes an aperitif with a special mention for the exceptional meatballs 🙌

13/06/2025: Very pleasant place, furnished with taste and with a very precise style. Very clean, well-set tables (even the eye wants its part). Very kind staff starting from Laura, the owner. Very interesting dishes linked to the territory even if - understandably - the menu offers less demanding dishes or above all more well-known ones such as the classic vitello tonnato. On the other hand, delicacies such as wild garlic pesto or sclopit risotto cannot be appreciated by everyone: at the table and in the kitchen you have to be curious. In any case the frico is a must! The house wine is interesting and there is a discreet choice of bottled wines. For lovers of draft beer, Miramonti offers the BIRRIFICIO ARTIGIANALE CASAMATTA: a very interesting pils. Access to furry friends is an added value: Ciro the dachshund appreciated the bowl with water.

08/07/2025: Aperol unfortunately lacks flavor... almost only soda... (economy version) Chips are old and chewy!!! Not like they used to be... new owners?? Waitress is very hectic! What a shame about a great, long-established restaurant in Tarvisio!
