25/12/2025: Casa Ippolito in Aprilia Marittima di Latisana is a delightful discovery. The setting is modern, well-maintained, and very clean, ideal for both a casual dinner and a special evening.
The staff is distinguished by their kindness and courtesy, always attentive and helpful.
The cuisine is truly top-notch: the beef fillet with green peppercorns was simply exceptional, tender and flavorful. The beef tartare was also excellent, fresh and well-balanced. The grilled chicken was delicious, and the pasta carbonara was surprisingly tasty.
A restaurant I definitely recommend: the quality, atmosphere, and service make Casa Ippolito a place I'll gladly return to.
13/12/2025: Highly recommended! Top restaurant, top service, incredibly polite and attentive staff! We've been coming back for years. None of the other restaurants in Lignano can compare.

The atmosphere was young and refined. The service was very attentive.

The American burger, cheeseburger, and sides were delicious and expertly prepared. The service was impeccable.

The man serving was alone and seemed to be busy, hoping there would be more staff to lighten his work. The place can be a little crowded though, which can be a good sign.

Carpet everywhere that doesn't convey any sense of cleanliness.
02/02/2026: Truly a terrible hotel, avoid.
Old and dirty are the key words for this place.
Cobwebs and spiders even on the check-in counter, not to mention those in the hallway leading to the rooms.
The carpet dates back to the Paleolithic era, where you can surely find previously undiscovered microorganisms.
The breakfast was poor, almost nonexistent.
Ants on the beds as soon as you entered the room, not to mention bedbugs everywhere.
Do not come here at all!

The food was delicious and the prices reasonable.
But yesterday's visit was a disaster.
"Oktoberfest"
There was no kitchen. Just some kind of roast pork with fried potatoes.
Which sounded perfectly fine, so I ordered it.
But €35 for a small plate with a few chunks of lukewarm meat and some potatoes is a complete RUDE!
I just felt sorry for the staff, who had to pay for their impertinence.

15/11/2025: All the orders arrive several minutes late, or don't arrive at all. By the time they arrive, I'm losing my appetite.
17/10/2025: I came for lunch with my dad. The staff was very kind and attentive, the wait for the dishes was practically non-existent, so it was really, really quick, and the food was delicious!! I recommend it.

05/04/2026: A 90s-era restaurant. Easter lunch to forget. Terrible service, dishes arrived in batches, and we all ate separately. If the food had been good...not even that. We sent back the spaghetti with clams... INEDIBLE. Full of garlic, with a thick sauce full of cornstarch... Fried food full of nauseating oil, and calamari full of salt. In short, a negative review.
04/04/2026: Taking advantage of a sunny day, we stopped for a quick lunch on a Friday in April, and I have to say it wasn't a good idea.
The atmosphere is a bit spartan and dated.
The state of some details (a cracked toilet in the bathroom and crumbling skylights) leaves much to be desired.
The first courses were bland.
The second courses, tuna, were tough and flavorless, even with the generous addition of salt. We struggled to eat them, to the point that we began to suspect they were poorly frozen.
The lady at the cash register was sad, displaying a certain detachment from the customers; at least a superficial smile wouldn't be a bad thing in a place where there's little to be cheerful about.
The bill is incomprehensible, but it doesn't matter when you can't wait to leave.
That evening, we discussed with other diners the severe abdominal pains that in some cases persist into the next day.
Let's not dwell on this secondary aspect, but rather let's put a big X on this experience that should NEVER be repeated again.

02/10/2025: 4-star food because, for someone like me, I really appreciate the dough and ingredients. They've improved so much in a short time. Leave the negative reviews alone because that's old news. Now they're new and improved. Perfectly cooked, not burnt or raw. Very good ingredients. I'd make it a little bigger because I personally devour it and want a second one. 5-star service because they're perfect on time for home delivery and arrive in perfect condition. I can't judge the atmosphere because I haven't been in person. Well done, keep it up and get even better 💪🏻❣️

Gestern Abend waren wir hier um einen Geburtstag (60Jahre) in kleiner Runde ( 7 Personen) zu feiern.
Bisher waren wir hier nur 1x zum Probeessen.
Was soll ich sagen... das Essen sehr, sehr gut, Fleisch auf den Punkt, Miesmuscheln im tollen Sossen serviert , einmal Weißwein einmal Tomatensosse mit viel Geschmack.
Pizzas sehr, sehr gut.👍
Also, das Essen ist ja auch oft Geschmacksache.
Daher kann ich nur für uns und unsere Feunde sprechen...
Aber der Service!!! ... da sucht man in Urlaubsorten lange danach.
Zuvorkommend, immer präsent ohne aufdringlich zu sein, schnell... unsere Wünsche wurden alle schnellst möglich erfüllt ob einen Teller mehr, oder Getränkebestellung, alles super schnell aber ohne Hektik. Die Vorspeisen und Hauptspeisen wurden serviert das jeder sein Essen hatte und niemand warten musste.
Das erfahrene Personal instruierte die unerfahrenen sehr diskret und freundlich . Man spürte die Herzlichkeit zu uns Gästen aber auch im Staff. Kein Stress , keine Hektik... hier wurde der Gast als Gast behandelt.
Ich, wir sind begeistert.
Das Geburtstagkind wurde vom ganzen Team überrascht mit Lied, kleine Presente wie Lollis, Schokoladenpralienen und Sorbetto, man fühlte sich wie auf dem Traumschiff... alles sehr, sehr schön aber nie kitschig.
Wow...würden auch 10 Sterne für Service vergeben...

28/07/2025: Siamo andati dopo aver letto le recensioni su Tripadvisor e siamo tornati la sera dopo, prima di partire.
Confermo in pieno i giudizi dati: tutto davvero eccellente.
Bellissima location. Gestione familiare gentilissima con un menu' davvero speciale: presentazione gourmet con elevata qualità a prezzi e assolutamente corretti, circostanza davvero unica nello scenario eno-gastronomico di questo livello.
Ad agosto torneremo e consigliamo a tutti i lettori di andare.
