17/05/2026: Great experience! Booked for 18 for my daughter's first communion! Very helpful and courteous staff, from booking to serving! The atmosphere is welcoming and rustic, as the name suggests! They were understanding and welcoming, and since we had 7 children, some of whom ate something different from the agreed-upon menu, they were immediately available! The dishes were delicious, both in quantity and quality; everyone was satisfied! Really good value for money! I'll definitely be back!
05/05/2026: A lovely place, a little difficult to find due to the last stretch of dirt road. The appetizers are excellent, and the rice bomb, in my opinion, is mediocre, like the Piedmontese reds. The stew and ribs are also quite good. The owners are very friendly, but the prices are too high, again in my opinion. Due to the layout of the room, the noise is disturbing.

25/03/2026: I stayed as a couple, and while the room was quite spacious with a nice bathroom, there are a few things to consider. We found dust under the bed, the bathroom drain was broken, and the beds were a bit uncomfortable. Overall, our stay wasn't bad; the hotel is pet-friendly, which is very convenient. The breakfast was well-stocked, the TV worked perfectly, and the staff was also friendly and helpful.

28/04/2026: A very large venue, perfect for large groups. The only downside is the noise when the rooms fill up; I recommend turning down the music, which then only creates confusion. The Asian menu, with tigelle and gnocco fritto, is more than adequate in quantity and quality. In my opinion, the gnocco fritto is better than the tigelle. The house Lambrusco is excellent.
08/04/2026: The place is very bright, with a large outdoor terrace where you can eat while enjoying a stunning view. The staff is attentive and friendly. I had a wonderful meal, with exceptional rosettes and gramigna. I recommend it and will definitely be back.

30/12/2025: We ate well, nothing to complain about. But the cover charge is 6 euros per person. A bit high. If a family of 4 comes, it's 24 euros just for the cover charge.
30/12/2025: Good-quality traditional food. I found the appetizers and first courses excellent, but I personally enjoyed the grilled meat less. The atmosphere is pleasant, if a little noisy. The wait staff is quick and friendly.

The cuisine is excellent, and the dishes served are truly delicious. Fresh, carefully selected ingredients elevate even our traditional cuisine to a classy level.

21/12/2025: We had dinner with friends a few weeks ago. The young people in the dining room were kind and helpful, but unfortunately, the overall impression is completely ruined by the UNACCEPTABLE behavior of the woman who served us coffee.
After politely and kindly asking her if she wanted to hold the saucer to avoid dirtying it (by drinking the bitter coffee), her response was, "DO YOU WANT A SLAP?" She then walked away without offering any explanation. This was grossly rude, disrespectful, and completely out of place, and certainly not because she misunderstood my words.
Even more serious is that no staff member subsequently apologized or attempted to justify what happened: zero customer service and zero professionalism.
I've been working in the restaurant business for over ten years, and such behavior, besides being intolerable, is completely incompatible with anyone who works in customer service.
Result: none of the 14 people at our table will return. It's just a pity for the young staff and the kitchen, whose work is completely ruined by such episodes.
20/12/2025: Dinner made tonight, potato and speck tortelli, tasteless and without flavour, plus the pizza chefs without caps on their heads with long hair, I think there are some rules

23/11/2025: When I'm passing through Castellarano, I always stop at this ice cream shop. It's truly excellent. The portions are larger than other ice cream shops, and there's a wide selection of flavors.

28/04/2025: Luogo meraviglioso non coronato dalla bontà e qualità del cibo. Servizio dilettantistico troppo intento ad uniformare le ordinazioni , persino un bis di primi sconsigliato! Considerazioni sul prezzo: quando non si mangia bene è sempre troppo caro e si è verificato. Non tornerò e non lo consiglierò questo ristorante, peccato per la location……. La gestione si deve dare una mossa !

14/04/2025: Nulla da dire sul cibo in quanto tutti i piatti presi erano molto buoni. Anche il prezzo finale nulla da ridire. La nota più che dolente ed imbarazzante è stato il servizio. Ci siamo seduti al tavolo e dopo 40 minuti di attesa è arrivata l'acqua. Dopo altri 15 minuti è arrivato un solo primo e dopo altri 15 minuti l'altro primo. Risultato io ed il mio fidanzato abbiamo mangiato da soli. Successivamente è arrivato un solo secondo e dopo altri 10 minuti il mio secondo che ho dovuto rimandare indietro in quanto avevo preso un filetto specificando di fare una cottura molto più che media invece è arrivato completamente al sangue, al momento del taglio della carne un rigagnolo di sangue mi ha inondato il piatto. Conclusione il mio secondo è stato rifatto ed ho mangiato quando oramai il mio compagno aveva finito da 10 minuti e passa. Inoltre nessuno si è scusato per tutti questi disguidi anzi per l a cottura carne sono stata ripresa io che avrei dovuto dire secondo loro che doveva essere molto molto cotta. Da molto molto cotta a completamente al sangue c'è sempre una via di mezzo che non è stata rispettata per nulla. Mi dispiace davvero che la cameriera sia stata tanto scortese ed il servizio lento come la Quaresima.
13/04/2025: Siamo venuti da Modena per mangiare in questo ristornate vivamente consigliato da amici. Il posto è immerso nel verde ma la strada per raggiungerlo è molto stretta e difficile da percorrere, soprattutto se si ha una macchina abbastanza grande. Una volta arrivati il posto è molto carino. Il punto forte è sicuramente la cucina, non ci sono piatti che non abbiamo gradito, tutto davvero ottimo.
Peccato per il servizio un po' distratto e altre piccole cose che non sto qui ad elencare.
