17/03/2026: The pizza is amazing. I almost never get to eat it, but this one, even with the tastiest toppings, is absolutely digestible! The fries are a must-try! The staff is kind, friendly, professional, and very welcoming!

27/01/2026: We were passing through and stopped for lunch without much notice, just a few kilometers from the E45 exit, but they still welcomed us with great hospitality. The appetizers and first courses were good, as were the desserts. The staff were friendly and attentive. A positive experience, with plenty of parking, highly recommended.

03/04/2026: A kiosk with real, you can eat there in any season, the food is excellent. The real piadina romagnola, with quality ingredients, absolutely worth trying.

The crescioni and piadina we ordered were truly delicious.
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
There is parking available nearby.

24/01/2026: I went for the mutton because I'd heard good things about it.
Unfortunately, the advice wasn't good.
I don't know what cut of mutton it was, but it wasn't ribs, leg, or scabby undersides.
It was stringy with nerves, cartilage, and bones. Plus, the few pieces of meat were like shoe soles.
A terrible experience.

20/03/2026: I'm a mother, as well as a class representative of the group that stayed with you yesterday, March 19, 2026. The place might be nice, but honestly, the staff is disgusting, despite their lack of leniency in interacting with children and using inappropriate language. Furthermore, even though we were quite tidy, they even complained, and you even made a video against us, making us look like total pigs. We paid you, and you even had the nerve to complain. Furthermore, you allowed yourselves to publish videos showing our children without even our consent or approval.
You don't deserve anything, and I certainly wouldn't go back even if it were free. You really suck, and why can't you give 0 stars? Because you don't even deserve 1 star. I don't recommend this place to anyone. My rating for you is below 00000.
20/10/2025: We went to the educational farm this morning after having accompanied us from milking to production we tasted typical local products. The girl was very helpful, kind and knowledgeable on all topics. We will definitely come back to try the restaurant too. I recommend this experience to everyone.

12/04/2026: I gladly return every time I'm in the area. We hadn't booked, but they seated us right away, despite the crowds pouring in. The service, against all expectations, was quick and precise. The tagliatelle remain at the top of my list of favorites, perhaps more for the consistency of the ragù than the tagliatelle. I saw a beautiful roast lamb being passed around the dining room. For our grilled meal, I was quite satisfied. I can't fault the wine by the glass too much. Anyway, if I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely stop by. The prices are always better than many other places. €39 for two, including free coffee and liqueur.
15/03/2026: Influenced by previous reviews complaining of excessive delays, I showed up early for my reservation. I found the staff attentive and courteous, efficient, and fast. Excellent traditional cuisine! The rabbit and lamb were fantastic, preceded by tagliatelle ai stridoli and home-cooked ravioli.
It took me an hour to get my digestif.
The place was full of families.
Average age: 65.

01/08/2025: Quando arrivate e quando uscite consiglio di state attenti alle buche nel parcheggio, soprattutto una grande, profonda e non segnalata dove abbiamo rischiato di sfasciare la macchina. Ci hanno aiutato a tirarla fuori ma nemmeno un gesto di scuse. Doveroso segnalare le buche! Pericoloso anche per chi va in bici o di corsa.
Per il resto bella la piscina, buona la cucina, servizio e cortesia da migliorare notevolmente.

Tutto perfetto, dall'ottico cibo in tutte le sue portate, bellissima piscina, che dire poi della casetta sull'albero dove abbiamo soggiornato io mia moglie e il mio bimbo di 4 anni!!!!
Tutto veramente fantastico!!!!
Ci rivedremo presto.

06/12/2023: Place "stuck" in the 60s... it looks like a vintage restaurant but... the food is amazing! If you are in the area stop by! The owner-waitress is very nice...
19/11/2023: In this restaurant Marcello and his partner Natalia stopped time when we went there with friends or family many decades ago, and in any case we felt at home, pampered by simple food but with a flavor that reminds you of mother and grandmother. It is worth spending time in this restaurant because it is good for the body (excellent food) but it is also good for the heart (through food you are reminded of many good memories).
I highly recommend it… we must do everything not to miss these places…
Thanks again Marcello and Natalia on behalf of those who traveled 200 km and were repaid in every way by your meeting.

21/12/2024: Abbiamo prenotato per una cena, per la quale abbiamo ricevuto la conferma on line ma....arrivato al ristorante lo abbiamo trovato CHIUSO! Tutto questo sabato 21/12/2024. Direi che l'organizzazione non è il massimo per un locale tanto rinomato. Valutazione pessima considerando che la prenotazione era per un evento speciale!
16/12/2024: Non pensavo di scrivere mai una recensione così. Prenoto con largo anticipo per sabato 14 dicembre a cena. Mi arriva conferma per mail e poi anche via whatsapp. Il giorno 14 parto di casa e faccio circa 1 ora di auto che è la distanza tra casa mia e la Mentana. Arrivo e trovo tutto chiuso e spento. Attendo 15 minuti e poi provo a chiamare ma il numero è staccato. Scrivo su whatsapp per sapere se avessero cambiato entrata ma nessuna risposta né per messaggi né telefonica. Giro a piedi per il paese di Mercato Saraceno, magari hanno ritardato l’apertura ho pensato….ma dopo 1 ora al freddo e senza riuscire a mettermi in contatto con il ristorante risalgo in auto e faccio un altro ora per rientrare. Mi sono fermato a prendere una pizza da asporto, il sabato sera in Romagna all ultimo non è semplice trovare posto. Spero non sia capitato nulla di grave alla Mentana e al suo personale per aver trovato chiuso ma non avere avvisato della chiusura lo ritengo davvero una mancanza di rispetto e professionalità. Non è per le spese del viaggio a vuoto, autostrada ecc. ma sono passati 2 giorni e non riesco ad avere una spiegazione né per mail, né telefono o whatsapp, questo rende davvero surreale questa situazione. Ho mangiato bene alla Mentana quando siamo stati ma questa situazione mi ha davvero lasciato con l amaro in bocca.
