26/07/2025: Last night, after a long time away, I returned with a friend to Trattoria La Famiglia in Ospitale, Bondeno. I knew I'd be enjoying good, home-cooked, quality food, and I was certainly not disappointed: an excellent appetizer of traditional cured meats, a sumptuous plate of handmade tagliatelle with meat sauce (a generous amount), and a delicious homemade tiramisu. The atmosphere is informal yet welcoming. The owners are friendly and kind. The prices are reasonable. Very satisfied.

07/07/2025: Found it again this evening by chance while in the area for work. This time my curiosity for typical local dishes made me, let's say, make a mistake. The Salamina dish with typical Ferrarese purée is decidedly strong and the flavor for me is not adequate so much so that I had to leave it. However, the owner was very kind in explaining the typology to me. Surely for local palates the dish is traditional.

06/08/2025: Extremely mediocre pizzeria. I don't want to say anything bad, just say it's mediocre. The pizza itself isn't bad, it's just average, like a thousand other pizzerias; it doesn't stand out in any particular way. The real problems are all the side effects: we waited a full 55 minutes for a pizza; we arrived at 8:30, took the order at 8:45, and the pizzas arrived at 9:40. Truly too long for pizzas. Furthermore, one of the pizzas was missing an ingredient (sausage). The wait staff kindly offered to remake the pizza, but we refused because my friend was very hungry and didn't want to wait that long. Furthermore, when it came to the bill, the waiter, a young, polite but perhaps unfamiliar with the cash register system, made a mistake, but these things happen. What's sad is that the woman who came to his aid (a much older woman than this guy) publicly scolded him in front of us, who were a bit shocked. I understand everything, but giving such harsh answers in front of customers doesn't make you look good. Instead, take the employee aside and explain the mistake without humiliating him in front of the customers. I don't know, we weren't particularly impressed with the place, but our group of friends agreed, I don't think we'll be back.

31/08/2025: I went there last night to eat, good service, delicious fried calamari 😋 😋 😋 excellent pizzas. If I have the chance, I'll go back. Recommended

29/08/2025: Hotel: Exactly what you're looking for when passing through for a night. Restaurant: Large rooms, delicious food, and very friendly staff. If you don't like thin-crust pizza, get a frozen one from Aldi. The pizzas are very large and delicious.

11/06/2025: We had a beer while we waited for our pizza, lovely people & nice atmosphere.

11/05/2025: We waited a good half hour before having a table, once seated they informed us that they no longer had two courses, so there were only two courses left out of four, smoked ribs with potatoes full of oil and ribs with fat and burnt... tagliatelle with raw asparagus Not counting how many people were sent away, and the kitchen closed at 1pm on a day where there is a market and lots of people all day Glass bin emptied while sitting at the table with lots of noise
