16/04/2025: The beautiful taverns of the past! Excellent and plentiful food, good wine, affordable prices. Let's say enough to the chic places in the center, which only have the name of a tavern. Let's rediscover authenticity!
The only flaw is the slightly dark atmosphere. I would recommend a small investment in lighting. However, I will return for the seafood dishes which I haven't tried yet, but which those who have already been there highly recommend
14/04/2025: It was a great experience, I found a restaurant where the traditional and fish dishes are excellent. The courtesy and kindness of the staff is of a superior level. The spaghetti with seafood was excellent, and the other dishes consumed by my friends were also excellent. I personally hugged the cook. We will definitely return.

Замечательный шеф-повар, который лично приветствует гостей и рассказывает о своих блюдах и винах. Все, что мы попробовали в ресторане, было сделано руками персонала, включая хлеб и лимончелло. Рекомендую от всей души!

10/03/2025: I confirm the previous reviews, an old Osteria from the past that is worth trying and visiting, good traditional dishes with that extra touch.
It's a shame about the waiting times, slow food is fine, and I appreciate it, but too much in the end risks making you appreciate the pleasure of sitting at the table less.

21/01/2025: Dopo tantissimi anni di assenza sono tornato al Gallo per un pranzo con amici.
La fama che godeva, e che gode tuttora, di ottimo posto se si desidera mangiare carne è ampiamente meritata.
Perfino con un tavolo particolarmente confusionario come il nostro il servizio è stato preciso e cortese.
Una nota particolare per la tagliata, a dir poco eccellente, con la possibilità di un piccolo stravizio: farsi friggere lun uovo nell'olio di fondo dopo aver finito la carne!
Vini di buona qualità.
Opportuno prenotare perché è un locale molto frequentato.
Conto coerente con la qualità servita.

Locale rinnovato gestito da ragazzi giovani che vale la pena visitare.
