06/06/2026: I was pleasantly surprised; I wasn't expecting it! Everything was delicious: the Chianina tartare was incredibly fresh and tasted spectacular, and the pici with Cinta Senese ragù was truly delicious. Everything was excellent. The staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and professional. Highly recommended! Well done! I wasn't even hungry, but after trying your dishes, I wanted to continue trying more. You absolutely must stop by.

01/07/2026: We chose this restaurant because its menu stood out a bit. But we were disappointed. The lumachine allo scoglio was too salty, the calamari rubbery and, in my opinion, frozen. The carbonara was heavy. The tagliolini with truffle was good. The wine was decent. Three primi, two glasses of wine, and a bottle of water for €93! Frankly, too expensive for the quality.

30/06/2026: We came to dinner at this restaurant recommended by locals, especially people from Pienza. In reality, we were supposed to have dinner elsewhere in Bagno Vignoni, but it was closed for vacation. That said, we were pleasantly surprised by the attentive, friendly, and helpful service. The wine list offers a wide, high-quality selection. The menu is also surprisingly extensive and innovative, considering we've often found ourselves eating the same things at other restaurants, and the selections never varied. Overall, we had a wonderful evening, never to be underestimated, given these times. More and more often, we find ourselves going out for lunch or dinner and generally returning home with a bitter taste in our mouths because the dishes are always poorly prepared and poorly crafted, and the prices are far from fair. At Osteria del Leone, I can guarantee you'll find passion for this profession, from the table setting to the friendly service of the excellent waiters, ready to accommodate your requests with kindness and professionalism, to the beautifully crafted dishes. Excellent work! Having worked in the restaurant business for almost 15 years, I always enjoy finding gems like this.

20/06/2026: The food was very nice and most stuff was fine, however there was one lady that was very very unkind. She reacted as if it was the worst thing ever when my dad ordered a cappuccino.. bad experience with her so no tip because of that

15/03/2026: Very welcoming place. The first courses were good (not exceptionally good), including the wild boar pici, the truffle pici, and the tagliatelle with tomato sauce. The large platter was just adequate. Prices are in line with the location. Definitely recommended, but room for improvement.
