10/12/2024: Siamo andati a provare quella che di fatto è la nuova gestione di questo ristorante che gia frequentavamo, devo dire con franchezza che il livello è rimasto molto alto, la qualità del cibo è davvero eccellente, così come la presentazione e la cottura dei cibi, ottimo il servizio in un ambiente accogliente e rilassante.
Prezzi in linea con la qualità del locale.

The side dishes: roast potatoes worth reviewing, they taste like nothing and are too large and therefore not cooked well
The beans were salty perhaps because they were reheated too many times
The coffee almost cold and with a bad taste made with pods and charged 2 euros!
Finally without taking wine and without second course...so just appetizer, first course and a side dish 40 euros and what matters most not completely satisfied
The service however, was excellent!

08/12/2024: Secondo fine settimana a Prato - e ce ne sarà un terzo - io e mia figlia seguiamo le indicazioni dell'host per una cena da "indigeni". Tipica osteria di un tempo che ci regala quello che cercavamo: sapori e atmosfera.
Necessario prenotare. Locale ricercatissimo!

13/12/2024: I tried this restaurant for the first time last night which has been recommended to me over and over again. Impeccable environment and service, interesting menu, in general the dishes that arrived on the table surprised me, really very good. Wide range of wines. I recommend it.

18/12/2024: Passing through to visit the Medici villa we stopped in this place located right nearby. What can I say, they were kind enough to let us eat quickly despite the crowded place so that we could arrive on time for the guided tour. Rich platter with excellent cured meats and cheeses. We then chose the "pici sul papero", fresh pasta with an excellent ragù.
We'll be back to taste other specialties at a more leisurely pace.
The environment is also very nice

A place that has remained there over time like the dishes, typical of Tuscan cuisine but too expensive for the food offered. Absent staff, stratospheric bill for eating two dishes costing around 23 euros per course. 60 euros total with house wine. Experienced, but never again.

29/12/2024: Siamo tornati per la seconda volta in questa trattoria soddisfatti della prima volta portando una coppia di amici che non erano mai stati.Anche questa volta siamo stati benissimo e tutto buonissimo.Ambiente che ti fa sentire a casa con personale gentile e sorridente.Bravi continuate cosi !!!! Al prossimo tortello con cavolo e fonduta di parmigiano da leccarsi i baffi e bistecca tenerissima .e altri piatti buonissimi.
21/12/2024: Questa sera abbiamo cenato in questa osteria che ormai è diventata un grande classico della nostra città. Eccellenti i tortelli di cavolo nero su fonduta di parmigiano, ottimi anche i grandi al ragù bianco di cinta. Speciali anche i sedani alla pratese che mi hanno fatto ricordare quelli che faceva mia nonna tanto anni fa. Conto onesto , che dire complimenti

20/07/2024: Excellent welcome. Courtesy, competence and friendliness accompanied the entire duration of the dinner. The place looks like it came straight out of the best part of the 80s, including the background music. The starters were excellent (mixed meatballs and scamorza, ham and mushrooms). The first courses are also noteworthy (gnocchi with 4 cheeses and rocket, Maremma ravioli with ragù). The desserts are also good (pistachio mousse and berry cheesecake). Excellent prices. However, the friendliness of the staff is priceless. It is worth stopping and enjoying a beautiful evening.

08/01/2025: Ottimo il loce e molto bello i camerieri eil capo sala molto educati e gentili il cibo favoloso lo consiglio a tutti ho anche richiesto una torta se la facevano loro per il mio compleanno e mi hanno detto di sì hanno superato pienamente le mie aspettative era favolosa quindi super consigliato come posto sicuramente da riandare.
13/12/2024: Posto tipico "pratese"situato alle pendici della collina che guarda tutta Prato già dal parcheggio si può apprezzare il buon odore della carne sulla brace ottime le proposte di menù così come la carta vini portate di valore e buone da mangiare ma ahimè nota molto dolente troppi cinesi che rovinano l immagine dell antica trattoria....

01/01/2025: Historic Tuscan trattoria existing since the end of the 19th century. Managed by the seventh generation of the original family. I returned after many years. I found the same atmosphere and the same flavors of the past. There is quite a lot of free parking around. Retro atmosphere but that's what attracts about a place like this. Typical Tuscan menu. Super ribollita and grilled chicken. Good house wine. Average prices. Very kind and attentive staff. For me a point of reference in the area. I highly recommend it if you want to immerse yourself in ancient flavors.
19/11/2024: If you are looking for a place with simple, good and genuine cuisine, well... this is the right place.
We started with a typical appetizer at the center of the table.
The selection of cured meats is good and the varieties of bread offered are interesting.
I particularly appreciated the mixed grill and the Fiorentina, a trip back in time when catering was simple but tasty.
Wine list not too extensive, typically regional (that's right), a little confusing but with really excellent prices.
The only technical flaw is that by offering truly important wines at low costs, it is a great shame that there are not a series of glasses suitable for best enjoying the desired wine.
But apart from this flaw, everything was really pleasant.
The staff were polite and friendly, the environment was clean and characteristic.
It will definitely be a point of reference.
