21/01/2025: Premetto che non è un enoteca perché la lista dei vini è troppo ridotta e troppo locale . La location è carina anche se faceva freddo e il riscaldamento era troppo basso e mangiare con la giacca non è il massimo . Buonissimi i tortelli al ragù e il peposo. Buono il tortino di cavolfiore . Le lasagnette fritte sono troppo asciutte anche perché non avevano messo la crema di bufala . I crostini toscani non commentabili se tra i sughi mi porti humus e salsa con le olive . Il filetto buono ma il tartufo era troppo poco e senza particolare gusto . Pessimo il risotto che era salatissimo , troppo carico , con troppe nocciole , poca fonduta . Immangiabile . Lo abbiamo fatto notare e pur sostenendo che è normale perché la salsiccia è sapida non era mangiabile . Ma ce l’hanno fatto pagare lo stesso . Nota positiva sul personale attento , cortese e ben preparato . Conto medio alto per la qualità .

14/01/2025: I arrived at this restaurant with a group, we were visiting Lucca. This restaurant was a pleasant surprise. We ate excellently even though we had little time available. I discovered some very curious news: Ciribè, the name given to the restaurant, refers to the game that we called: "La lippa" and which was played in the streets a long time ago. Some sort of ancestor of baseball, or something. The restaurant overlooks the enormous Piazza del Mercato, which is certainly one of the largest squares in Italy. From the restaurant, with a pleasant short walk, you can reach the city center with the most important monuments of the place.

15/02/2025: Invitata da amici, ho scoperto questa trattoria che al sapore della tradizione aggiunge il gusto per il buon cibo, dalla mortadella pratese ai ravioli con alchermes, fino alla torta cenerina al cioccolato. Tutto molto buono, servito con garbo, in un ambiente familiare e accogliente.

26/01/2025: Soldano non è semplicemente un ristorante che rappresenta Prato. Soldano È Prato. Locale storico, frequentato prevalentemente da clienti fedelissimi, offre soprattutto piatti legati alla tradizione pratese/toscana e caratterizzati da una genuinità, una schiettezza disarmante che vi faranno trascorrere quell'oretta a tavola col sorriso in faccia. Consiglio caldamente le mezzelune alla pratese, con un ripieno di ricotta e mortadella di prato, tutto abbracciato dall'alchermes, che vi resteranno stampati nella mente. Nota di merito anche per il delizioso roast beef: difficilmente ne ho trovato uno di questi livelli altrove. Non dimentichiamo inoltre i prezzi stracompetitivi da buona trattoria, la simpatia e la cordialità dello staff. Insomma, qualora vi troviate a Prato da turisti e stiate cercando un buon ristorante autentico nel centro della città, segnatevi Soldano e ne uscirete più che soddisfatti.

18/12/2024: Passing through to visit the Medici villa we stopped in this place located right nearby. What can I say, they were kind enough to let us eat quickly despite the crowded place so that we could arrive on time for the guided tour. Rich platter with excellent cured meats and cheeses. We then chose the "pici sul papero", fresh pasta with an excellent ragù. We'll be back to taste other specialties at a more leisurely pace. The environment is also very nice

18/01/2025: A unique place... thanks to Carlo the franca... the legendary waiters Primo and the youngest boy... a distant world still true in the flavors in the way of welcoming... a place where the form is created by time and not from the cold mind of some architect who instead of being proud of his origins brings an international and empty style in which we are just puppets in a playground...Carlo speaks Italian and everyone understands it and in his dishes he tells of his land with its authentic uncompromising flavours...a reality to be defended...thank you

15/02/2025: 7 of us had lunch, including a 16-month-old baby who was seated on a wooden high chair for whom a cover charge of 2 euros was charged, but he was not allowed to change his diaper due to the lack of a changing table. Having said this, after a simple order of a couple of appetizers, 5 first courses and a second course, we relax and wait. The appetizers arrive which are too meager for the cost of 7 euros for two bruschettas and 4 slices of salami. The pasta arrives, also thin and cold and served in steps, a dish every 10 minutes, we practically ate separately. In the first courses ordered there were 2 dishes of boscaiola in one dish there was a black olive and a broken fusilli and in the other only the broken fusilli there was everything except the boscaiola, we were certainly not satisfied.

08/01/2025: Ottimo il loce e molto bello i camerieri eil capo sala molto educati e gentili il cibo favoloso lo consiglio a tutti ho anche richiesto una torta se la facevano loro per il mio compleanno e mi hanno detto di sì hanno superato pienamente le mie aspettative era favolosa quindi super consigliato come posto sicuramente da riandare.

You will find many delicious things, from land and sea. An infinite number of "delicious" dishes to try. Wild boar ragout, mixed grills, Cinta Senese ribs. 29/10/2024: When I returned to Prato from China in the fall, I found that this store was closed. During the two years when I moved to Prato for my research, I went to this restaurant at least twice almost every month. I always ordered wild boar spaghetti, mushroom pasta and grilled meat platter. This store also has special ingredients from time to time. The boss is always very welcoming. All in all it was a great memory. I will be leaving Italy soon, but I will miss it.

16/02/2025: Pranzo terribile sono rimasto molto deluso menù scarso portate striminzite e fredde Ambiente freddo con riscaldamento spento ho speso una fortuna per mangiare come un pulcino e potrei proseguire...

01/01/2025: Historic Tuscan trattoria existing since the end of the 19th century. Managed by the seventh generation of the original family. I returned after many years. I found the same atmosphere and the same flavors of the past. There is quite a lot of free parking around. Retro atmosphere but that's what attracts about a place like this. Typical Tuscan menu. Super ribollita and grilled chicken. Good house wine. Average prices. Very kind and attentive staff. For me a point of reference in the area. I highly recommend it if you want to immerse yourself in ancient flavors.
