08/12/2024: Secondo fine settimana a Prato - e ce ne sarà un terzo - io e mia figlia seguiamo le indicazioni dell'host per una cena da "indigeni". Tipica osteria di un tempo che ci regala quello che cercavamo: sapori e atmosfera. Necessario prenotare. Locale ricercatissimo!

03/12/2024: Che dire un'eccellenza pratese con un rapporto qualità-prezzo imbattibile. Non si mangiano i soliti piatti toscani visti e rivisti, c'è una certa originalità nel menù. Ottimi gli antipasti, dall'ovino della Vio, al flan di porri su crema di gorgonzola. Buonissimi anche i primi e i secondi, sugli scudi il risotto in cagnoni, piatto povero ma prelibato, le mezze maniche sulla finocchiona e l'hamburger di poldo, molto saporito. Buoni anche i dolci e servizio puntuale e simpatico. A Prato uno dei top!

26/08/2024: Nice evening spent at an outdoor table in the center of Prato. Good wine from a local company. As an appetizer, cold cuts and cheeses, courgette flowers in batter and as a main course the Tagliata. Very generous portions. Really everything was excellent. I also liked the sorbet. In summer the tables are outside, but upon entering I could see the place inside which is very particular and characteristic. I would really like to return.

27/10/2024: Omar and his family have always been a certainty. Fresh and quality food. Kindness and elegant simplicity make this restaurant its strong point. "Il Ghirighio" is located in a place outside the city, in a small town in the Val di Bisenzio, Migliana. For many it can be a limit. For me it's a strong point, and it makes it even more special. Dishes with typical local ingredients, such as chestnut flour, become delicious and refined. Must try!

10/08/2024: Really good experience at this restaurant. Friendly staff and the food was good. We first shared a beef carpaccio. He came with two plates so we could share it better. Then the raviolis were really nicely served, and the barley with the zucchini sauce was really original and tasty! Waaay better than the commercial restaurants and fast foods around. I highly recommend this restaurant, if you're looking for a cosy italian place with 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 food, and pretty cheap prices. Thank you Ciribè!

20/07/2024: Excellent welcome. Courtesy, competence and friendliness accompanied the entire duration of the dinner. The place looks like it came straight out of the best part of the 80s, including the background music. The starters were excellent (mixed meatballs and scamorza, ham and mushrooms). The first courses are also noteworthy (gnocchi with 4 cheeses and rocket, Maremma ravioli with ragù). The desserts are also good (pistachio mousse and berry cheesecake). Excellent prices. However, the friendliness of the staff is priceless. It is worth stopping and enjoying a beautiful evening.

19/11/2024: If you are looking for a place with simple, good and genuine cuisine, well... this is the right place. We started with a typical appetizer at the center of the table. The selection of cured meats is good and the varieties of bread offered are interesting. I particularly appreciated the mixed grill and the Fiorentina, a trip back in time when catering was simple but tasty. Wine list not too extensive, typically regional (that's right), a little confusing but with really excellent prices. The only technical flaw is that by offering truly important wines at low costs, it is a great shame that there are not a series of glasses suitable for best enjoying the desired wine. But apart from this flaw, everything was really pleasant. The staff were polite and friendly, the environment was clean and characteristic. It will definitely be a point of reference. 16/11/2024: The peposo was good, the tagliatelle on the guinea fowl ragout were really too dry. Very good and courteous service. Wine list rightly oriented towards local excellence. Environment that could be more welcoming and modernized.

22/08/2024: Excellent food, top spaghetti with seafood, mixed fried food with delicious vegetables, fried potatoes, water, coke and beer. The service was up to par, the boy who served us was very kind and helpful. Environment care. The only negative note was almost 2 hours at the table, not even if it were a wedding. I recommend it, we will be back

22/08/2024: I was here last night with my family. The environment is very beautiful and the staff very attentive and courteous!! Really compliments. Very good food! If I really have to give advice, less oil in the spaghetti with lobster. I recommend it.
